I dropped by bc I noticed my car has some paint bubbles and Lennel was super helpful. As soon as I got there, he greeted me with great energy, I showed him where the bubble was and he went out of his way to search for more on his own and discovered another one! He reassured me that he would be able to cover it with the warranty and did just that. The best part about this whole thing was that he mentioned he saw someone bump my car a bit and he was able to identify and adjust the bumper during the time it was in the shop. One of my taillights got cracked during the repair, they got it taken care of free of charge within a reasonable amount of time.

A couple of times we'd been in accidents our insurance company set up repairs at this Caliber. They fixed things quickly, offered rides, gave our cars back cleaned (!), and made sure everything was working up to standard. So when I managed to mess up the undercarriage of my elderly Prius (stupid encounter with a wheel stop at a grocery store), I figured I'd call them, have them inspect, and ask for an estimate. When I went in for my estimate, Richard explained what he was seeing and suggested they might be able to do it as a complimentary service! We did not know this shop but it was a State Farm preferred shop. Their error caused our car to become literally undriveable, a fact they kept from us for over a week. Their failure to problem solve left us without our car for a month. Buyer beware on this. If you have State Farm insurance, don't automatically accept assignment to this company like we did. read more

What a wonderful way to start a week leading up to Thanksgiving... with the best car repair & customer service experience ever, thanks to Lennell and the team at Caliber. My car had been scraped and dented in a parking lot, with no note left behind. I had started an insurance claim and had a 3 week delay quoted by the first shop I brought it by, just to get an initial estimate. They recommended Caliber for quicker service, and they were right! I drove up with no appointment around lunch time, filled out a single piece of paper with basic info, and Lennell (General Manager) jumped in and offered to take a look immediately. He explained the whole process and took photos to initiate the claim for me. I asked him what he'd do with a 13 year old car and a minor dent and these scrapes up the side of the car. He grabbed a towel and some acetone and showed me how to rub out the paint that looked like scrapes that I thought had been way worse than they looked. 3 minutes later he'd removed all issues up the side of my car, except the little dent, and removed other scrapes around the car as well, and still offered to finish the claim submission for me just in case. He saved me SOOO much time, and the deductible it would have cost me, and unnecessary effort. I HIGHLY recommend Lennell and his team for such above and beyond customer service. read more

My car had some scratches on the passenger side doors so went to caliber as it was recommended by Progressive. Rudi was my service advisor and he did a good job of explaining the fixes and the fix took 2 weeks owing to receiving bad parts. they did a good job of fixing the car. It looks good as new. It might be a bit overpriced though. I would have given 4-4.5 stars if not for the rude person at the front desk. Rachel was very rude to me when I first came in to drop off the car and the experience was similar whenever I called to check on progress or when I came in to pick up my car. In fact, on the day I was picking up the car I heard her being extremely rude to someone on the phone and once she disconnected the call, called them drunk and stupid! Even though my car looks good the whole experience left me with a bad taste. For any future repairs I'll be going to a different Caliber location read more

Was able to speak to the manager, Lenell, to get the scuffing on my car taken care of. They were able to fix the scuffing pretty quickly and save me some money. When getting a price estimate before, I would have to make an appointment through the front desk and there were times they told me it would take 2 weeks and they would keep calling me by last name without saying Mr., which was a bit unprofessional. Lenell, however, was very professional and helped me with getting a price estimate and got my scuffing taken care of much sooner, thankfully. Their excuses was twice they received the wrong parts. Sonya was supposed to update me with the status of my car. Nope, she didn't call as promised. I waited by the phone day after day. I had an amazing experience here last month. I initially had my car repaired here several years ago after a fairly significant accident. A few months ago, I noticed some cracking in an area that was re-painted after the accident. I didn't think Caliber would do anything about it since it had been several years, but I figured it wouldn't hurt to have them examine their work. To my surprise, the excellent manager Lennell Wade took full responsibility and authorized a repair under their lifetime warranty. Not only did he work around my schedule to make it easy to drop off the car, but he also covered a rental car for the few days that they needed. The staffs here were super rude, and their technicians were an absolute disaster. They "fixed" my front bumper after the accident, but as soon as I picked up my car and drove home, the right fender liner fell off. I had to ask for warranty service, they told me they will order the part and let me know when I can bring my car to the shop to fix. But they left me hanging for a frustrating two weeks. No response from my technician, and when I called, they casually said I'd have to wait another two weeks for an appointment. Are they serious? It's as if they're avoiding fixing my car because I already paid and this was just warranty. Their front desk is so incompetent and unprofessional. If you care about your car, steer clear of this place. It's a complete waste of your time and money! read more

Caliber's lifetime warranty is something you can trust. My car had an accident 3 years ago and was repaired by Caliber. Recently I had a headlight failure and the repair shop told me this is a damage caused by the accident 3 years ago, and Caliber should cover it under it's lifetime warranty. The insurance of my counter-party selected this 177 E. Evelyn location for a paint job on my Sienna's rear fender. Juan as advisor delivered a precise estimate and executed as agreed on time and within the budget (insurance paid 100%). I was pleased with the clarity of communications (Juan, Cindy ad Marisol) and step by step updates by iMessage. The paint job ended up better than expected. I opted for the MV center because of glowing reviews on Yelp and Google to replace my car part through out-of-pocket. But midway through the process the third party opted to pay the damages through her insurance. This kind of created a communication gap with Caliber Collision and myself. It also did not help that I had to go out of state for a while. I was trying to renew the communication once I was back to setup the replacement appointment and got a indifferent response from one of the staff on phone. I was planning on giving a one star here and move on to another bodyshop. But I gave one last shot by paying a visit to them and let them know how I felt. There I met this chill dude in glasses who assured me things will be done the right away going forward. I was able to schedule an appointment, and Cindy did an amazing job of replacing the damaging part in less than a day. Should be a 3 star for all the back and forth. Bumping up one star for Cindy's swift work and for the hospitality of the chill dude wearing glasses. And making it a 5 star for going above and beyond for vacuuming my car and fixing my tire pressure, I guess that was a sweetener for all the confusion that happened. Save yourself a headache and just visit the Sunnyvale location instead. The manager at this location, Ruben, and his team do NOT know the definition of decent customer service. I came to this Mountainview location because my rear exhaust was hanging after being involved in a fender bender. Everyone seemed nice at first. 15 minutes later I realized that I was fooled. After an associate, Junior, went down a ONE WAY STREET (sign and arrows indicate one way) and hit the wall while driving my car, this location failed to notice the damage to my tire, rim, and side panel. Rather than go above and beyond to make things right (as most managers would do after such a HUGE) mistake, Ruben said he'd only fix what his associate damaged. He didn't even offer me a discount on the original problem I went in for, and I had to pull tooth and nail to get a new tire and rim when they were CLEARLY damaged! That's the LEAST he could have done after leaving me with a bigger problem than I went in with. After speaking with him several times, he told me I would get a free car wax and interior detail, but I was left with the mess that you see in pictures. He did, however, put me in a car rental at the shop's expense, but told me that I had to get a cheap car and he went as far as to CALL ENTERPRISE WHEN I GOT THERE to make sure I got the cheapest one! Wow!!! After 5 Days I picked up my car and noticed that no wax had been done, there was no interior detail, leaves were in my front grill, and there was a huge sap drip on the side of my car. Ruben merely said "oh well, this sap must've been pretty caked on there" and proceeded to use a rag and some cleaning spray on my car. So THIS is supposed to be a good quality wax job? They couldn't even get that right! Rather than argue with a clearly incompetent manager, I escalated matters to two different managers above him. I was FINALLY able to get my original issue fixed, along with the wax and interior detail I had been promised. My car looks AMAZING now, thanks to another Caliber location in Sunnyvale and NOT this one. DO NOT GO HERE. read more
