Auto Enthusiast, High-End Grade Quality…read more If you are really into cars and the paint appearance is just as important as what's under the hood.... then RP is the place. First, I make specialty paint for airplanes as a living. I'm the guy who can spot used cars that "never had an accident" due to the repaint not being flawless. So when I started getting quotes for my repaint, I was pretty much accepting that my baby would be scarred for life and never look the same. You see, the reason it's easy for us car enthusiasts to see when even a good repaint fails the mark is because of something called "haze". Even if we hit the impossible on matching the gloss, surface texture, and specialty effects like mica or flake, but you miss the haze, then it's noticeable to us. As a note, the haze is a measure of how "true" or "rich" the color is once it's all cured. Is it cloudy or do the colors pop out at you kinda thing. I wanted to repaint a door and rear quarter. What's worse, it was the driver's side. So I'm seeing it every time I get in. My issue: I have a gorgeous Tesla with a high-end factory paint job that had a metallic flake effect. Pretty much an impossible ask to begin with; and then toss in that it was for someone proud of their car like me. But let me tell ya, it came out flawless! Hell, they even matched the flake and peel effects. No idea how. All with the lowest of three bids. Lastly, this Rudy fellow is the real deal. Great staff, but he himself called me the evening I dropped off the car. He understood I was going to be a tough customer to please, but there was something about him. He was confident and that's what made me choose RP. So if you need the impossible, don't even mess with the other quotes. This is my place from here on.

I wish there was a zero star rating!…read more This place is so frustrating. We took our car in for a claim. It took 2 weeks longer than promised. We went to pick it up and found that they had not fixed the ac/heater and didn't fix the cross member. We came back a few weeks later. Again two more weeks. Came back and still the ac/heater issue hadn't been touched. They said that they would order parts and Call is when in. This is without inspection to see what parts. Driving off we hear the cross member rattling. Over these many months waiting eventually a kid hits us in a parking lot and we have a second claim. Same story. We will order parts and Call. I stopped by 6-7 times. Called 10 times minimum and finally sent an email a few weeks ago. Surprise surprise no response.

I took my truck to Niemans for some minor body damage. I needed my bumper, fender flair and…read moreheadlight replaced. Everything was 100% paid for by the other guys insurance and I was assured it would be an easy fix. After two full weeks my truck was finally ready for pickup and I was not impressed. My fender flair had been replaced by a used one that had more damage then the one that was replaced. Also, my bumper looked like it had not been touched. Nieman's did acknowledge that the flair and bumper were still messed up so I got rescheduled for a week and a half later for them to order another flair. Dropped my truck off again and received a call 45 mins later saying that the flair they got was used and damaged and wanted to keep my truck. I said that was not an option so they wanted to send me home with no flair at all. I told them to just put the one back on that I dropped it off with. When I picked it up it was a completely different flair with even more damage. Lots of headache and my truck is worse off then when I turned it in. Seems like a money grab company that cuts any corner they can. Over two weeks and I got back junk work. The people were nice and offered me a rental car, but at if you are going to have my truck for almost a month for minor repairs, you may as well pay the monthly payment for me. I screwed up, should have gone to the dealership.

On my original review I mentioned that my brother's whole left side was totaled. We called and they said the parts for the car came in late. I would expect a month maybe even two months of repair cause I'm really understanding. BUT 6 FUCKING MONTHS?! GOING ON 7 MONTHS. He specifically told the shop that his car needed to be done on Friday but nope. After Labor Day weekend it's still not finished. I heard he made a scene and some people asked him to calm down but excuse me sir.. How the fuck would you feel if your car was in the shop for 6 months and ITS NOT EVEN FINISHED AND YOU SPENT "X" AMOUNT OFF MONEY FOR RENTALS?! And you can't even get to your family because you spent all that money on rentals. Exactly so stay out of our business. My brother is in the Marines and he is about to get deployed to Kuwait. He was supposed to come home August 31st and he has not come home yet because of this shit hole they call a repair shop. I am so angry and frustrated at this shop because my brother has spent a ton of money on rentals just to get by PLUS his two week vacation was cut down to only 5 DAYS. He got yet ANOTHER rental and he's finally coming home tonight. All I have to say is that NO ONE SHOULD COME HERE. We're pulling the car out of that shop once he heads back down I hope they have a really good fucking lawyer because the military and their families don't play.

From quote, to arrival, to cash-in-hand, the price never changed; the only thing that did was our once-scratched-up bumper. It literally looks as if nothing happened in the first place!
