This the is VP at Caliber Kevin I been talking to all of sudden he tells me nothing they can do and stop responding. So, I lawyered up.

This company is a major fraud. I trusted them with my car after an accident they took money from the insurance company and never paid for my repairs. Audi of Plano took my vehicle and changed the ownership because they say payment was never received they even fired the service guy. This is crazy insane work. Guy hit me - insurance deemed not my fault. And y'all let Audi who you took my car to take it. This the is VP at Caliber Kevin I been talking to all of sudden he tells me nothing they can do and stop responding. So, I lawyered up. All I want the value of my vehicle they took and pain and suffering..

Paint chipping on seam and clear coat droplet hanging off corner

Took my vehicle in to get a dent repaired and it ended up taking 1 full month to get fixed, racking me up a $1300 tab with rental car. It took them 2 weeks to get the panel painted after all the parts were gathered. It lasted an extra week because they had to "redo" the paint and clear coat because it "wasn't up to their standard" meanwhile costing me $270 more in rental fees. The paint and clear coat didn't last more than 2 months until I had to bring it back in to get redone. Now the clear coat is chipping off on all edges of door and panel they repaired, and I'll probably have to bring it in again to get RE-DONE. Communication was good all the way through which is why they earned an extra star.

Original front end collision

I just want my car fixed right...Poor quality, despite repeated service. I want to fix this review, please give me a reason to change it. 5/24 Accident Occured: - front end collision 5/29 1st repair (LOVE FIELD): got back - missing expensive mud matt and bumper popping off 6/19 2nd repair: (LOVE FIELD) - requested fixed: 1) realign the windshield wiper fluid blaster 2) realign the front bumper 3) Fix the front bumper clips 4) Make the hood of the car flush with the edges 6/29 3rd repair (PLANO): bumper popping off again, and not aligned still - took it to another location They then went silent for over a month after saying they would order a part. I called them and turns out the service was cancelled?! I am taking this car in for the 4th times hoping they get it right this time - what a headache.

Didn't replace bent suspension parts. Missing hardware after repair. Loose bolts on fender. Took my truck in after a collision. Impact was of wheel, fender and door. Wheel took the brunt of the crash. I asked to have the suspension checked carefully. When I received my truck there were no parts replaced on the suspension. Looking at the alignment report I was able to determine that the steering knuckle was bent. Had to show them and they agreed but insurance denied the supplement. Should have been on the original estimate. I had to order the part and replace it myself to take pictures to get reimbursed. While replacing the part I found the inner tie-rod has excessive play and the wheel bearing doesn't spin smoothly. These are common issues when a vehicle is hit like this. Their mechanical tech lack training on diagnosing basic suspension damage. Regional management from caliber reached out but failed to follow through.

NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO THIS SHOP FOR REPAIR! On December…read more20,2024 I was involved in a minor accident on the Tollway. The right rear panel and rear passenger door were damaged. The car was easily driveable however a tow truck appeared and offered to take my car to the nearest collision center which was Xtreme Collision. It was not a preferred shop for State Farm Insurance but I was reassured by both the shop and State Farm that this was not unusual and the repairs could be done there. I thought it would be a 6 week project and all would be well. Week after week ,month after month I was told it was progressing. I finally went down to the shop and was shocked to see that they had completely dismantled my car, replacing parts that were not damaged in the accident. The car was leased, only three years old , low milage and high residual value. I was told that dismantling of my car was necessary in order to paint it appropriately. Soon my allotted rental car appropriation had been exhausted and I was then renting from Enterprise at my own expense. The lease on my damaged car was up at the end of April and then I was paying daily lease on the car in the shop since I had no car to return at the lease end. In late May the shop still was unable to complete the work and State Farm decided to declare the car a total loss and cut their losses with the shop. The shop would have received several thousand more if they had finished the job. The fact that they decided to accept the lesser payment for a total loss suggests that they were unable to finish the job. I believe that this shop is dishonest, deceptive and incompetent. They did way more on my car than necessary in order to gain more payment from the insurance company. In the end they had taken it apart and were too incompetent to put it back together again. I had a 4000 dollar rental from Enterprise because I was without a car for over 5 months . I had continued lease liability on the car in the shop because I could not turn it in on time. As noted above, the total time of this ordeal was 5 months, two weeks.

Park Place BodyWerks - Paint overspray on my interior window, damaging my tint

What should have been a one week process turned into a three month nightmare of shop negligence, property damage, and management avoiding accountability. * Exterior Damage: While replacing my rear bumper, they chipped the edge and tried to use a paint marker to cover up their mistake. Afterwards, they failed to properly blend the paint from the bumper repair to the quarter panel. In trying to fix it across multiple return trips to the body shop, they ended up repainting my pristine front door and fender, ruined the hand painted pinstripe, and chemically damaged my taillights while trying to correct the paint. Currently, the fender still does not blend with my hood and the taillight still has chemicals damages. * Interior Damage: The shop allowed paint overspray to get all over my car's interior. Instead of hiring a professional tint specialist to address the overspray on my high end LLumar FormulaOne Pinnacle Ceramic window tint, shop employees aggressively wiped it down with harsh chemicals instead of replacing it. * Incompetent Inspection Protocols: When I raised concerns about the structural integrity and Infrared (IR) heat rejection of my ceramic film after chemical exposure, Body Shop Manager Brandon Gillespy tried to use his UV meter he personally bought to "prove" the tint was fine. * Management Dismissal: When escalated to the Director of Body Shop Operations, Eric McKenzie, I was met with complete dismissal. He refused to authorize a professional inspection at an authorized LLumar dealer and claimed the car "looked great" visually. After I requested a thorough inspection of the rest of the interior, Brandon and Eric both insisted it was great. However, I later found paint overspray on my radio receiver and front window, alongside damage to my tint. This shop damaged my luxury vehicle's exterior, compromised my premium ceramic window film, and then tried to "grade their own homework" to dodge liability. They are now completely ignoring my emails. If you care about your factory paint, your high-end aftermarket additions, or professional customer service, do not trust Brandon, Eric, or the team at Park Place BodyWerks. Take your luxury vehicle elsewhere.

As a result, my right passenger door was dented and the paint was badly scraped, there was no damage to the door alignment or inside mechanics. Pros: Most places informed me that I needed to replace my door completely, which I didn't feel was necessary. The quotes I received ranged from $350 (no track record of work) all the way up to $3,000 (price to replace the door). American Hail Specialists was quick to respond to the quote request I created on Yelp, they were conveniently priced around $1k and committed to removing majority of the dents, repainting the door, blending the paint, and completing an interior clean in a weeks time. They followed through on their commitments and successfully completed the repairs in a week's time. In addition, they also covered a couple chipped paint spots on my bumper with red paint at my request for no additional charge. Cons: After picking up my car I realized a part on one of my air vents was broken, assuming this happened during the interior clean. It would've been nice it this was fixed prior to me picking my car up, but they had no problem fixing it after I informed them of the issue and handled it very professionally.
