Everyone here is very nice, friendly, and professional. They explain what they are doing, and work with you and are happy to help or answer any questions. They made a not so pleasant experience (getting into an accident) that much easier for me. Couldn't thank them enough. read more

Probably the worst place to take your car to. They will lie to you over the phone, they will also find more reasons to keep your car in. For example, they told me I have to wait another week for them to reprogram my car key. How did it get un-programed in the first place? Anyways I don't recommend anyone going to this place spoke to many people on the phone including Mark and Cody and both did not help. Glad to say I'm taking my own car out of their custody because there unable to do the simplest of tasks. read more

My almost new truck got caught caught in a hail storm. USAA recommended I take it to this shop, as they were "gold star" and all these other certifications from different insurance companies. Caliber had it for two months, put over 70 miles on the vehicle without explanation, then told me it was ready. When I went to pick it up, it was a mess. It looked like someone had been using it for construction work on the weekend. This is now pending legal action for fraud and theft against Caliber Collision. read more

My Subaru Forester got side swiped by a reckless driver and caused what looked like just cosmetic damage when we exchanged insurance information. When I got home later and washed the winter road dirt off I discovered the mirror was bent and the paint on the side was scratched from front to rear and creased in up towards the front in the door and quarter panel. I made an appointment with Jerry over at Caliber and they came and picked up my car and took just 3 days to get a new mirror installed, the creases repaired and the side repainted . They cleaned and buffed the entire car and it looked showroom new when I got it delivered back. I had lots of problems with driver that hit me State Farm's Claims Department but Caliber was professional and let me know exactly what was going on during the whole process. Rental car and insurance companies were more difficult to work with than those guys. I hardly ever write reviews but Caliber was the least of my issues getting my car fixed and put in a lot of extra effort and I really appreciate that. read more

Our 2013 SUV was damaged on virtually every body surface in a powerful hailstorm. It looked like someone had taken a ballpeen hammer to it. My insurance company sent me to Caliber for the estimate and repair/replacement. I can't speak for the negative reviews here, but I couldn't be more pleased with the end result. The car looks terrific. They ended up replacing the hood and the roof and repairing everything else. And the entire car was repainted except for two plastic panels on the hatch door. This took a while. The car was in the shop for about six weeks because so many pieces had to be removed, repaired or replaced in addition to being painted. Throughout that period Caliber was sending update text messages. A day or two before it was scheduled to be ready, I got a call from a tech (Nathin) who said he wasn't happy with the paint result in several places and wanted it to be redone. I was impressed with this dedication to a quality job. They even cleaned the inside. read more

I have used Caliber collision in Santa Monica,CA and the service was excellent, since then I have moved into the area, I recently had a run in with a Raccoon and it damaged my front Valance and spoiler on my Mustang and it ripped out my wheel liner and the splash guard underneath my car I brought the car in and I talked to the service associate and he assured me they would handle it ,I brought it to his attention that some paint was bubbling on the hood and he gave me an estimate and I said go ahead and fix it and i would pay out of pocket, a week later I come back to pick up the car they fixed the valance and the front spoiler and I looked at the hood and it had not been painted so I just chalked it up as a misunderstanding so I said I will make an appointment for another day, I got home and I noticed that the old wheel liner that was in my trunk was missing so I looked at the right wheel well and there it was I thought ok, they made it work on my receipt it says Remove and replace inner fender liner R assy (2 pieces); R quantity 1 100.00T used I thought hmmm so I take my car to work a few days later to get an oil change (yes I work at an Automotive retailer as a service manager) one of my techs puts the car on the lift and tells me that my splash shield is not there so I go back to Caliber to address my concerns and I talked to a gentleman an older man and he got a bit defensive and I would have to make an appointment to have it looked at and he would probably have to contact my insurance company and make another claim so we made an appointment for the following Monday, this was Friday ,just based on my experience so far I just decided to order the parts and fix it my self, being on the other end of a customer complaint really opened my eyes a bit so it was a learning experience for me as well (because I am perfect and have never had a disagreement with a customer before yeah right ! ) So i understand things happen and people miss stuff and or forget just letting you know....... read more

I've had two separate experiences with Caliber Collision in Carson City and for both I was greatly appreciative of their honesty with me. My first experience took quite awhile (they had my car for about 3 weeks), but that was not their fault. I was taking advantage of my car being in the shop and hoping to have two separate insurance claims resolved, so it took an extra amount of time for one insurance company to inspect the car and approve any repairs. Extra days were also tacked on when they had decided to entirely replace one of my rear doors and the first door they received was not entirely right. Although I was without a car for quite some time, I truly appreciate the quality they put into their work and they honesty they showed me with the repair process. I also appreciate them being patient and courteous even though I called nearly every day for updates. Once I did get my car back, it drove great and I had no problems. Unfortunately, two months after my car being fixed I was involved in a hit and run. My car was taken to them again just last week (as they are the closest shop my insurance company deals with). I appreciated their humor and sympathy in having returned so soon, but it was several days before the inspection was done on my car. Apparently some paperwork had not been transferred and they did not know it was an insurance claim. I truly appreciated the employees being upfront and honest with me, as well as their quality of work, BUT I do wish there was a better chain of communication, specifically with their customers and perhaps also within the shop. read more

Very pleased with the price, customer service, and repair to make my car look great!

Robert is a great guy, very helpful and knowledgeable. We took our car in for a new bumper and it was an out of pocket fix. Robert helped us get a new bumper that was color matched for a great price. When we went to pick our car up, Robert and his guys had fixed some other scratches, and they even fixed the rear bumper that was plastic and caved in. Calibre Collision went above and beyond to make our experience great. Any future work I need done is going to Calibre Collison ! Robert, thank you again for the great experience ! read more

After having my virtually brand new car damaged in a parking lot hit and run I was expecting to have a sincere headache installed by the insurance company and repair process. Hoping to get ahead of the game I contacted Caliber to obtain an estimate to provide to my insurance company. The very pleasant woman that answered the phone informed me that they are an approved shop with my insurance co. and that the whole process would go much smoother if I started there. Only two days after I filed the claim I received a call to schedule an appointment for the estimate, which occurred the following day. The whole process took only two and 1/2 weeks (one week was my own fault because we delayed the repairs to coincide with my vacation) and was easy! The staff is kind and considerate, the facility is clean and their communication is amazing, be it personal contact or their text message system. The repairs are perfect and that is saying something as both my husband and I are very particular and notice any little thing that is out of place. I will always recommend Caliber for repairs and although, I don't wish to need their services in the future, won't hesitate to bring any repairs needed to this wonderful group of professionals. read more
