Truly this was an overall excellent experience! Take something as negative as being in a car wreck and the guys at Caliber in Alhambra, especially Rigo and Rudy, truly made it a positive outcome. Came a few years ago and it took forever for my car to get fixed. All the updates they gave me kept changing. They kept pushing the finish date back which was frustrating the whole time. Present Day: I was hesitant to return but since I was in a rush and going out of town and my insurance said they had appointments I decided to return. Showed up and they said they couldn't find my appointment. I had initially scheduled for Thursday but rescheduled for Friday, which was accepted through my insurance. I was told that they couldn't take my car in because they are shortstaffed and was asked if I can bring it in later next week. Got flashbacks of delays and excuses so I just went down the road to Crash Champions in San Gabriel. They were able to make my appointment last minute, explained the process and gave me some timelines. I was in and out in less than 20 minutes. Super easy and quick, I left confident and comforted that I chose a better place to get my car fixed. I took my car to Caliber Collision after I was in an accident and Geico recommended them. Customer service was good in person but I had a hard time getting them to update me in regards to when my car was going to be ready. If I didn't call to inquire, they didn't update me. They gave me a date in which my car should be ready. That day came and past and I had to call to find out what the holdup was. I also found trash that was in my car that I didn't leave there. It looks like it fell out of someone's pocket and they didn't pick it up. They did a good job with the body work. They blended the paint well and it looks good as new. My wife had a little mishap with her 2017 Honda Accord and I elected to have Caliber Collision in Alhambra repair it. The experience was absolutely awesome from the start as we entered the office and was greeted by Lilian with a smile and wonderful personality. She checked us in and a few minutes later was greeted by Rigo, a Service Advisor, who took time with us to provide a full and transparent estimate for the repair. He also kept us up to date on the progress of our vehicle. Our vehicle was ready a few days earlier than the projected date and when we picked it up, it was absolutely perfect in all aspects. I am an artist with a critical eye and was very pleased with the job performed by the Caliber team. I asked to speak to Rudy the manager, who was awesome as well, to thank him and Rigo, Lilian and the team for such a perfect job. My wife's car looks like brand new. I would recommend Caliber Collision to anyone that needs there vehicle repaired. They are truly experts in all sense of the word. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR REPAIRED HERE. Had my vehicle towed to this shop 05/08/23 for an attempted theft which caused my ignition to break. During the week, I had no updates about my vehicle. Everytime I wanted to speak to Chris, he would never return my calls who was my service provider. Came to pick up a pair of shoes from my trunk in their lot on 05/15/23 and discovered an empty box of basketball shoes that I owned was laying outside of my car. Opened the trunk to discover that my car was broken into again and the rest of my items were stolen. I scanned the inside of my vehicle and there were more damages inside my vehicle. The loft where your vehicles will be stored in is NOT SECURE. It has small step that anyone can step over in. Additionally, I told them that my car can not be locked. I would assume that it would be noted and be placed in a more secure area. They denied all liability and will not be touching my car. ABSOLUTELY WORSE EXPERIENCE. read more

I was referred to this shop by my insurance company and I would not recommend to anyone else who needs their car in a reasonable amount of time. I have a very similar experience as others on this review page - lack of communication, constant delays without explanations, and unreasonably slow repair times. I have already emailed communitymanager@calibercollision.com, so don't bother responding to this review with that nonsense. Our car had been in this shop since Nov 2022 and we keep getting pushed back week after week. We were originally told that the last parts would arrive on March 10, 2023 and the car would be finished approx. two weeks after that. We were told that we would be given a time estimate after all parts were received. We've never received a time estimate and every time we've called for an update, we are told it will be ready "next week." It has now been SIX WEEKS since all the parts were received. Our family members depend on this car for daily tasks and transportation to care for my elderly grandma - this is completely absurd. Liz called me last Friday and said they needed some parts that she would order and would come in on Monday and the car would definitely be ready this week; she said she would call me Monday regardless. She did not call me on Monday. I finally called Tuesday afternoon and she told me the parts would arrive that day and be installed. Again, no updates after that. I called Thursday and was told it "should be ready tomorrow." I was unable to reach Liz or Ray all morning and as finally told by Liz that she couldn't give me an estimate until the car was all put back together. My insurance claims adjuster has not been able to reach them this afternoon. And they've just put me on hold for 30 mins (past their closing time) so they can avoid explaining why the car is not done. read more

These people made my front bumper worse after "fixing it & painting it " They clear coated and didn't fix one single thing that was wrong with my bumper. Even after showing proof that it was worse they refused to fix it and gave insurance take another look at it. The ladies in this office were terrible and not helpful in any way. I still need a full front bumper replacement that could've been paid for by insurance while it was with them. But they cut corners to di a less costly job but presented it as a full replacement. **READ ALL BAD REVIEWS** I decided to take my vehicle to Caliber Collision - Alhambra because they provided excellent service a few years ago. However, I needed to be corrected. After an accident, my vehicle was delivered in late March 2023, and they promised me a date. They never called to provide status, I called, and all they would say was that Chris would return my car. Chris never returned my call! I finally believed I would get some answers when I spoke to Liz. She provided reassurance and empathy, but I was wrong. Liz is the person they ask to call the customer to provide the so-called "status." Excuses that parts are delayed, something else is wrong, still working on it, etc. She provides you with promised dates . After calling and calling, they provided me with a rental after waiting for over a month. However, this only delayed repairs. It has been over two months, June 2023, and I still do not have my vehicle. I will be filing a complaint with the CA Bureau of Automotive Repair. read more

They were contracted with my insurer to fix my car. they returned it and had not finished the repairs. i notified them of this and they informed me that they did what they could and that I would have to go to the dealership where I got my car to get evidence for my insurance that further repairs were needed on the same claim. I went to the dealership and the dealership easily found the issue and fixed it. they have now become completely unresponsive to both me and my insurance company and have not confirmed with the insurance that there were more repairs that needed to be done leaving me liable for additional costs in addition to all the time I lost with the terrible repair job. don't go here. read more

I've only had fantastic experiences with this CC location. George helped me when I was involved in a car accident, and he made me feel very taken care of. He communicated with me the entire time, always kept me in the loop and even got my car back to me a week quicker than expected. I had a great experience at Caliber Collision in Alhambra. They did a great job on my car repair (front corner). The repair was done professionally and thoroughly, using dealer-specified steps and replacement parts. The paint match is a challenge for my car, but they did it well--I don't really notice a paint difference. The repair area doesn't look like it was repaired but rather it looks like a new car. The car was washed and even vacuumed. They even checked my tire pressure since the TPMS light was on (unrelated to the incident). I received text updates of the repair status, which was helpful and accurate (they offer update notification by email or text). Avoid this place like the plague. Straight up liars. I took my vehicle in after an accident. They gave me a 4 week estimate for completion of repairs. For the next 3 weeks and 5 days I continued to get updates my car was on schedule. The day before I was suppose to pick up my vehicle, i was told their were delays receiving some parts. I decided to go and take a look at the progress of the repairs and found my car in the same state from almost a month earlier. After a ton of excuses, they gave a new estimated completion date. The very next day they decided to total my vehicle because "significant additional damage" was found. A whole month wasted. Delays are always frustrating, but happen. This place is dishonest and mislead me throughout the process. Do not do business here. read more

I am extremely disappointed in the service that I have received from this Calliber Collision location. I definitely wish I would have gone to another location. I got in an accident on 1/1/23. My insurance company told me to make an appointment with Calliber collision ASAP, so I made one with this location on 1/6 (without looking at the reviews first). I made an appointment and went in. When I arrived, I was told that my car hadn't been towed in yet by my insurance company but that Calliber would give me a call when the car got there. The Calliber team never called me to inform me that the vehicle had arrived. On 1/13, I called to see what was happening. They had told me that the vehicle was never brought in. So I called the tow company. The tow company mentioned that my vehicle had been dropped off on 1/12. I'm not sure why Calliber told me that my car wasn't there when the tow company clearly dropped it off on the 12th. I called Calliber back and they mentioned that it was there and that they would give me a call back once a member of their team had looked at my vehicle. They mentioned I would get a call back on 1/16. I never got a call. I called on 1/18. And was told my car would be ready by 1/31. On 1/31, I never got a call from them telling me my vehicle was ready, so I called. My vehicle wasn't ready, turns out they were waiting for a part, but that my car would be ready on 2/6. On 2/6 never got a call. So I called again, I was told they were still waiting on a part, that I wasn't going to get my vehicle until 2/17. Needless to say, it is now 3/10 and I have still not received a vehicle. I was told by Liz, the manager, that my car would be ready by 3/17, only to be called today to be told that it's possible that they would now have to wait for another part. When I asked for a rental, she mentioned that she might not be able to get me one because the delay was due to parts. (Other reviews on Yelp at other Calliber Collisions state that the clients were provided with rentals when the location knew repairs were going to take a while regardless of whether it was parts or not) Needless to say, I don't recommend this location. This location takes long, doesn't communicate with you about anything, and is unwilling to accommodate you when they are unable to provide you with your car in a timely efficient manner. (Other Calliber collision locations seem to have better reviews, I recommend checking out other locations) read more

Then why I finally spoke to a representative they said they couldn't tow my car for a week because they were too busy. I really want to like this place and I got good service in the Glendale caliber collision before. But for Alhambra one, there has extremely slow service, kinda exhausting! Today I was in here around 8:20am, and I still here waiting until 9:27am......
