My friend is a devoted Cali fan and has been begging me to come here for a long time. SO sad I waited so long to come here, it was fantastic!!! I ordered the fajita bowl with char chicken. The roasted peppers and onions, guac and chicken blended together so nicely with the coconut avocado rice. My friend got the hot honey pizza that she absolutely adores. We started off their house white sangria for only $5.50, a steal! It was delicious and refreshing. What was even better than the food was the service. Our server (sad I forgot her name) was beyond friendly and outgoing. They even gave me a free cookie for it being my first time to Cali. Very easy to say that I will be back here very soon, bringing more friends along to experience how fun, delicious, and friendly Cali is. read more

My job frequently caters from here and every time they do I'm always pleased but this was my first time trying the restaurant on site and it did not disappoint. I had the pepperoni pizza with the hot honey which was so fresh and tasty and my partner had the Brazilian bowl (added steak) and loved it! I really like that there is a variety of healthy options that can be customized. I think it would be a nice to have a "build your own bowl" also based on the proteins/sides available. I'm a little disappointed with Cali. First off... from the street you see a huge place with an amazing façade, then you enter the place and it has at least 15 tables total (i don't know the exact number, but the thing is that it looks huge from the outside and then the place is very small). We were a group of 6 and didn't go with any reservation. When we entered, they told us it would be a 10 minute wait for inside or that we could seat outside but people were complaining about the smell (at least the host was honest). We decided to seat outside because inside was very cold and didn't sense the smell the host was talking about, which is a good thing. The menu isn't anything special and same with the food. The pizza was good and my friend said the burrito was great. The waitress was very helpful and nice and I appreciate that. read more

The staff was really nice. I stopped in for a take out order. It was my first time there. It was taco Tuesday so I tried the hot and spicy tacos which come with chips and salsa. I thought it was a good deal for around $12 w/tax. The presentation was great, especially for to go food. It was just soooo salty. The ahi got lost in the aioli and guacamole and the tempura onions and soy sauce ( both already on the tacos) made it really salty. I would recommend getting the soy sauce and the aioli on the side. I think that would make a huge difference. read more

the food here is FANTASTIC!!! me and bf have struggled with eating healthy and enjoying it, but cali is the fix. the bowls are , bee sting pizza is our all time fave. as far as appetizers go, the hummus platter is fantastic. they gave us an additional pita because our first one was "flat" (still delicious btw!). drinks are amazing as well-- dragonfruit like agua fresca is delectable. service is fast and attentive, even when the place is slammed. the atmosphere is very comforting and boho. we LOVE cali!! read more

Hot. Honey. Pizza. Is it acceptable to add honey to every pizza from now on? I'm not sure, but this pizza made me feel like I've been missing out on the secret ingredient all my life. Highly recommend! The Gulf Coast Sourdough crust was also very yummy and added to the overall pizza. Cali offers a ton of gluten-free, dairy-free, plant-based meal options so if you have any of those dietary restrictions, you'll love their menu! They offer 8 different bowls or you can create your own. We went with Big Italy and Spicy Brazilian which were both incredible. They also offer salads, wraps, and various apps. If it's your first time stopping in, you'll receive a complimentary cookie before you leave and my GOODNESS are they tasty!! Oh yes- love this place! So many vegan options- this place has something for everyone. I love a non vegan spot that offers vegan condiments - like a creamy sauce and cheese! So yeah I down. this isn't my first time at cali so i was very aware that everything was going to be delicious. however this time i tried the new wild shroom pizza...... FANTASTIC!!!!! i love how they make the crust seasoned, every bit of the pizza was to die for. i always was able to try all three flavors of the agua fresca since they offer free refills and they were all so refreshing! i'd say in order of preference the best choice would be the cucumber mint, then the lavender lemonade, then the dragonfruit. as for the thai bowl it tasted essentially like a pad thai, very yummy but my pizza was better ;P. i forgot the server's name but she had super cute shoes, dark curly hair and the cutest silver jewelry. she did an amazing job and was very nice :3 very conversational and sweet (she also did a great job at upselling lmaoo i ended up ordering way more than i was originally going to (no regrets though xD)). i sat in the outside area and it was so perfect right under the shade. everything about cali is a 10/10! very deserving of alllll 5 stars. read more

This place was so good. For one, the decor was cute and inviting. Secondly, the food was great. I came with a big group for brunch so we appreciated the option to order either breakfast or from the main menu. I ordered the French toast and man oh man, that's only hefty meal. It was delicious, but in retrospect, I would order an egg dish with one piece of French toast on the side because two was just too much for one sitting. Pictures don't do it justice, it is massive and it is rich. I do wish they had latte options, but the did offer again frescas, which a couple of the girls got and liked a lot. Also, the French toast is diary free. It doesn't say on the menu, but we clarified, and my friend with a dairy allergy ate it no problem. So the fact that they have dairy free options is something to note as well. If you're in the area and looking for a good brunch, I vouch for this spot. read more

Taco Tuesday! Had to try Cali's tacos since it's only available once a week. The restaurant was busy but nothing too crazy. The order consisted of the Chicken Thai and Ahi Tuna Hot & Crunchy tacos. Each taco order comes with chips and salsa. The Hot & Crunchy tasted great. It was very flavorful and had a sushi like flavor profile in taco. What a great combo! The Thai on the other hand was okay. It wasn't as flavorful as I had hoped. The chips were nicely seasoned. They tasted great even without salsa or guacamole. Disappointed you couldn't order the tacos in a mix and match or as individuals. Also the salsa wasn't spicy. I wish there was levels of heat available for the salsa. Overall, the meal was still good. I went here with a friend for lunch because she absolutely adores this place and I can totally see why! The lavender lemonade is a chefs kiss! The hot honey pizza was to die for. I could only eat half it was definitely shareable, however I reheated it later and tasted just as great and I never eat left overs! If you like Ciccio group (Green Lemon, Luv Child, Daily Eats, Flour + Water) you will like Cali. It's a smaller menu than all of their other restaurants, but still the same high quality and very fast service. The hot honey pizza (also available at Flour + Water) is a must-try. I teach Zumba at the LA Fitness next door and walk over after class sometimes and I am totally in love with this place! Pros: The potatoes! Breakfast portions are perfect for everyone. I eat smaller meals while my family eats larger ones, they have something for everyone. Pancake size, they're tiny and delicious and the syrup is great. Bowls are good too, for the evening. Cons: No half and half for coffee. It hasn't stopped me yet though. read more

A very different kind of restaurant but deathly worth checking out. A lot of California flare to their food foods so if you're home safe for California or you want to get a taste of California, this is a great place to start. Definitely recommend trying the sourdough pizza, I recommend the supreme pizza, and the cookies are wicked delicious. They have plain chocolate chip and s'mores I recommend the s'mores. As far as appetizers, the garlic edamame is fantastic along with the popcorn chicken with their own special garlic, avocado, aïoli sauce. Two of my favorite dishes are spicy Brazilian bowl and the Thai bowl. Definitely a fusion of California flavor which traditional flavors of those two countries. The atmosphere is very calming and it's an open air kitchen. You can see everything going on here and chatting me back there. It's worth a trip whether you're in Tampa Palms, Saint Petes, South Tampa or wherever. read more
