Most of the work outs can be done anywhere, without other equipment. I think the work outs provide maximum results combining strength training and cardio. Where do I find a legit personal trainer that could not only ensure I get good workouts, had a compatible personality but would also give me some diet advice too? (It sure wasn't at 24 hr Fitness - how can you call yourself a personal trainer when you have a beer gut? But I digress...) I found Bill on yelp (thanks yelp!) and I've been training with him now for 6 months! I like that we work out outside with very basic equipment - so I know the vast majority of what we do I can do myself at home. He provides suggestions on what I can be working on the rest of the week. I've been very impressed how he always has creative and well-grounded exercises to challenge me with (I swear I think we are up to 50 different exercises on the suspension training ropes he uses!). Through him I found personatrainerfood.com which has been really helpful for me to improve my diet (my challenge was I often didn't have time to prepare healthy food). He's flexible to my schedule and responsive on texts. I appreciate (as others have said) that he's super knowledgable about the physiology behind the exercise but doesn't lecture or judge. I would highly recommend Bill!

Each training session was custom according to my and my husband's needs and mobility (per the FMS method). As we progressed Andrea tweaked the sessions accordingly, which kept workouts interesting and at the right level of difficulty. Andrea taught us tons about long-term health, nutrition and fitness that I am using in my day-to-day. Turning these habits into a new lifestyle has been the best takeaway from this experience. The workouts are always different and move so quickly that you don't realize that you're almost done. The music is good, the people are welcoming, the gym is clean, and the atmosphere is so fun. The owner and trainer, Shanae, takes the health and safety of her clients personally. She is quick to offer modifications, corrections, and encouragement in a way that makes you feel empowered. She truly cares about everyone who steps through the doors of her business, whether it's your first time or your 1200th time. There are often monthly challenges to push us outside of our comfort zones and incorporate a healthy lifestyle beyond the gym. People bring in fruit from their gardens to share, books from their libraries, and community causes that need support. The Fit Mill is more than just a group HIIT workout. This one is by far the best. It's well maintained and VERY clean; both out on the floor and in the locker room. The other members are well educated, friendly, and courteous when lifting weights/doing cardio's. Rarely do you hear grunts, groans and dropping weights. The front counter staff are friendly; both coming and going. The trainers are professional and know what they're doing. I like this facility. How often do I go; 7/7 (except for Thanksgiving and Christmas)

It offers no pool or sauna…read more We went for a few years during Covid because they at least tried to keep stuff clean, but quickly stopped afterwards. The inflated price seems to create extremely entitled, mostly older gym-goers, that hoard 4-5 sets of freeweights at a time, and then hold loud 45-minute work calls while monopolizing a cable tower and glaring at anyone who comes close. If you want your routine to take 2 hours to do half as much actual lifting, spend 20 minutes trying to park, and still cost literally 10x as other gyms, then go for it. And hey, at least the locker rooms are clean. Just never try to cancel. They will call, text, email, and otherwise harass you to re-join every 2-3 months for the rest of your life. And no, they do not listen to requests to stop.
