Anything by Ciccio's is guaranteed to be good food! If the service had been better, I'd have given this 4 stars. We went around 3pm and waited about 5 minutes for our server to come around. We ordered the champagne sangria b/c duh champagne all day err day is my motto. Another 5 minutes later (keep in mind maybe only 2 other tables) we got our drinks. It was sangria with champagne poured in. Womp womp womp...not what I was expecting. Nor should it take that much time if all you're doing is dump champagne into regular sangria. I got the Hot & Spicy tuna bowl with noodles. Oh man was it delicious! Perfectly seared chunks of tuna, crunchy tempura and the noodles were perfectly seasoned. My friend got the Poki and said that's all she ever orders. It took a while to get our checks of course, but by this time it was a joke. I'd of course visit again! As far as value, this place can't be beat. And if you're on a "healthy" kick but still want tasty food, this is your place. I hadn't been to this location, but have frequented their St Pete location multiple times. The menu here is the exact same one you'll find in St Pete. My go to is always the half moon fish taco bowl served over brown rice. The guacamole, black beans and chile give it a nice little kick. Service here was exceptional. We sat outside and were greeted and taken care of most wonderfully the entire night. Their wine was $6 a glass, which sounded awesome. The only downside was that it was a small pour so it wasn't really that great of a deal. If I'm over in the Riverview area again, this will be my go to spot. read more

Food is good but service is super slow. Staff is very unprofessional. Called to put in order and put on hold 10 mins - time it took to me drive there - and it wasnt even busy when I got there. No one was in the to go area and response was "sorry". Bunch of the staff justvstandibg around. Only 1 on the floor with the maybe 10 people in the restuarant. We have nothing but great comments to report on Ciccio. The ambiance, food, service and entertainment are all excellent. To start, the ambience this restaurant has a trendy chic feel the moment you step in the door. The decor is almost an upscale 50s diner motif. It is a place that brings a welcome change to suburban Brandon which is known for its homogenous chain restaurants. The food was excellent, California cuisine that conveniences you that you are on the west coast. The service is friendly and timely. On Sunday they have live music which can be enjoyed when dining outside. We highly recommend Ciccio to all who wish to have a healthy unique dining experience. read more

I was looking for a different place to eat and was in the area. So my son and I walked in not knowing what to really expect. I just noticed it had good star results on Yelp so I took a chance. Looking at the menu I was taken back because I didn't see any meats in the entrées. And noticed a lot of vegetarian and vegan choice. I'm a carnivore, so that's a problem. The waitress was very nice and explained everything well. There are meats on the menu, just listed last for each meal. She gave me a few recommendations and I choose the Spicy Brazilian Bowl. Very good and filling for $8.50. My son was not so daring as usual, so pizza for him. The restaurant was clean and somewhat comfortable. Kinda tight seating for my liking. I noticed a wet spot on my table and thought it might of been there from cleaning up the previous customer. Nope. After wiping it away it kept coming back. It was a drip coming from the ceiling. After telling the waitress about, she told me that she knew about it and it was condensation from the a/c like it's no big deal. There was no other tables to move to so I just dealt with it. If it was my business I probably would give up the table or shift it to avoid violations from the health department. Water coming a non-food contact surface is not good. I would have given more stars if there wasn't that issue. Overall the food was really good. read more

For the exceptional service I gave them 4*, but the food was about 3.5. I got the chili-lime stir fry. The stir fry part was very good, but the asian noodles, not as much. My wife said her Tuna Bowl was really good. I saw a lot of things on their menu that looked good, but nothing really stood out for me. Our server, I forget her name, was outstanding. Not too doting, but very helpful. Beer selection is OK, not great. Will be back since we live next door, but this would be a weak 4, but too many good things to give a 3. read more

Avoid this location at all cost. Two times they messed up my basic order. I always get a Cali steak wrap. First time they forgot the guacamole. This restaurant was just ok. Went there for an anniversary lunch as it was recommended by friends. I got the Cali wrap with fries and hubby got the Ciccio pizza. I appreciated there being a dairy free option and the wrap was ok. The whole thing was a bit under seasoned for me and the wrap had quite a bit of oil in it. Ehh. Not impressed. Went at 1:30 on a Sunday, they were busy so I can put some of the issues on that. Sat down to a sticky table. Not a good way to start. Waitress was friendly but not good. I saw her 3 times. When she took our order, brought us drinks, brought our food...we had to ask a manager for a to go box and our check. Not good. I asked for ketchup, the bottle came covered in sticky old ketchup. So bad that I had to leave the table and go wash my hands. Not good. This seems to be a trend. Food was decent but nothing that I would rave about. Manager came by to check in us. After telling her it was our first time she went and got me giant cookie for the road. Pretty yummy. We have been here three times now - Food concept is pretty unique and the selection and combinations have all been quite good. We ate here once for brunch as well and enjoyed their huge mimosas. They outside section is okay, they sometimes have a musician and they have the misting fans to help keep it cool. It is a little tight and the mosquitoes ate us up pretty good one night. read more

We have been frequenting Ciccio's since they opened last year and consider it to be a "neighborhood gem", as we live in Winthrop Village directly behind the restaurant. The food is fresh and delicious and the atmosphere is open and inviting! We have dined for lunch, brunch and dinner and everything in between. I love the Spicy Brazilian Bowl and Hubby likes the Fish Tacos. We have also enjoyed the Pizza with Organic Wine. We love sitting outside whenever possible! They have live music on the weekends...it's been "ok" but we're not fans. Seems to be geared towards Millenials and we are empty nesters in our 50's. Judge us as needed. The ordering process for lunch can be hit or miss depending on the line. They do make an effort to accommodate everyone as efficiently as possible. The majority of servers have been excellent. There was only one that was a little rude and seemed to be soaked in Axe Body Spray. Any issues we have encountered were quickly resolved and the manager, Raysa (sp?), is Awesome!! read more

Second time here and it did not disappoint! I went with a friend and we both got bowls. He got the Spicy Brazilian, which is great with a side of the sweet spicy sauce. Parking in this plaza that currently has construction going on is quirky, and appears that it might be that way even when construction is complete. The interior is modern, bright, spacious and clean. The downside of all that space is that the acoustics are loud and boomy, and the fairly loud music didn't help. We didn't have to shout to hear each other, but we did have to work at it. Live music later in the morning was much more pleasant. The menu has many options, brunch fare, bowls, wraps, and pizza with nice fresh ingredients and healthy options. We tried the seared tuna bowl and the thai peanut bowl and a pancake. Portions are large and tasty, the bowls are almost too large as we couldn't finish, and they wouldn't make for good leftovers so some was wasted. As is so popular it seems, they rely on a host of flavorful topping sauces that add a heaviness, salt, and sugar to the dishes. I excitedly ordered a Bloody Mary because of the description of the ingredients, particularly the pickle sounded fantastic. Drink arrived, no pickle :( Turns out they are out of pickles :( Would have been nice to know that first, but it was competent and affordable if a little light on the vodka. The service was just a little disorganized while we were there, bringing the dishes to the wrong tables, forgetting my water request, a longer than normal wait for the check. It was a fairly bustling brunch service however. Overall the experience was good, I would recommend it for anyone looking for fresh, healthier ingredients in the area. As a professional Yelp critic, sometimes you have to be harsh. The service was great the food was great the parking situation was mediocre. The restaurant had a good overall vibe to it. The inside was a little too homosexual for my taste. California bringing all their white stuff to Florida is not helping anything. The outside was a little more colorful and less modern in quotations of course. It also had jet fans which was a nice upgrade from the spinning fans. We went for the Sunday brunch and the food was outstanding. The mimosa had a generous amount of champagne. The French toast pretzel had a non overpowering cream cheese filling that hit the spot. The steak and egg bowl with potatoes was perfectly cooked and had great flavor. Everything had ample portions. The half moon- taco; not bad, modern twist I liked ... the chopped salad; was ok with nice flavor, the brown rice was NOT so great but you can do spaghetti squash which is favorite of mine anywhere...... The stir-fry hot (spicy) and sweet; was good however the rice it came with was not so good (white rice and large amount of vinegar ) was over-done and again too much vinegar? Hmmmm ...Next time I may be choosing spaghetti squash. . Did I say it was Delish .....on it's own! There have been always issues with the drink dispensing station situation, I feel it's not really what it needs to be, not in a Place where one can serve them selves and/or the folks cleaning the dining room not keeping up that station or refilling at the tables.. I am a little torn between giving 3 stars and 4 stars. I would rate my experience as a 4 but its a 3 if I base the review on my friends meal that came with me. I had the Spicy Brazilian Bowl after it was recommended to be by the girl who took my order. It came out fairly quick and was very good. Perfect for post workout meal. My friend on the other hand waited for her Boom Boom Chicken bowl to arrive after mine was brought to the table. After about 20 minutes of waiting she asked about it and a server finally brought it over. The place was not busy at all so I'm not too sure what the hold up was. I'm guessing it was under the warmer in the window and no one bothered to check. The worst part was that there was no apology for the long wait, a simple "sorry for the wait" goes a long way. I think I will still give this place another try because I did enjoy my food. read more
