Love that the cinnamon bun is drowning in frosting!! yum!

I liked my breakfast burrito with hash browns, and we really enjoyed the cinnamon bun we shared... It was drowning in frosting, yumm! The good: The whimsical decor, the wait time even on a busy Saturday morning, the front of house staff. The could-be-better: I'm one of those oddballs who drinks decaf coffee because I actually feel the caffeine in it... And they don't serve decaf!

Food was great, just a 10 minute. Wait time, but I don't think it was 10 minutes. Service, it was okay. She didn't smile but and she wasn't very friendly, but she did get us water and extra stuff that we added.

Took a vacation day and stopped at Caleb's after errands for a brunch with my husband. We had a hard time choosing so we ordered several things and took home leftovers! Started with the cinnamon roll which had a dense texture but was good and that icing, very sweet which I like! We did a pancake on the side to share and it was delicious! Light and fluffy with lots of butter. My husband liked his omelette and hash browns but we both agreed the Country Scramble and breakfast potatoes were the best! They bring you a pot of coffee and they have all the condiments in a basket which we thought was genius! Everything we needed. They have a very cute patio but we opted for inside because it was a bit rainy. But we will do the patio next time because it was lovely with all the flowers! Good service and the place was packed the entire time we were there, but there was no wait for us when we arrived around 10:45. This is a great little gem in the Red Bridge shopping center which has gotten a facelift and new life breathed into it with all these charming and delicious offerings.

been seeing a lot of good things about this place so we had to stop by. we got the berry french toast, and the jonah's breakfast bowl! The French toast was super sweet but amazing, I recommend having something savory paired with it! so much on the menu to try out and we definitely will be back to do so!

Our family went to this restaurant after a graduation and we all were very pleased with the experience. We had 12 people in our party and surprisingly they were able to accommodate us on a Sunday when they were busy. Our waitress was good and efficient. Our food was very good and they had a good menu for a breakfast/lunch/brunch restaurant with fresh ingredients. I was also happy that they had Gluten Free waffles and bread for sandwiches. It is a family friendly restaurant with a casual vibe and the noise level is still good with it being very busy. The bathrooms were also clean and we had an overall good experience!

My husband and I were staying nearby for a wedding and found this place with a Google search. The wait wasn't bad, especially for a Saturday, and the servers were friendly. Ot isn't fancy, but it is charming like you would expect a neighborhood diner to be. The highlights were the bacon--cooked perfectly, and the sour dough toast. I was also thrilled to find gluten-free toast and a gluten free waffle!! We were so hungry, I didn't remember to snap pix until after we dug in.

Cute little spot! The hostess and waitress were both super nice and we weren't left wanting for refills or anything like that. She brought us waters before we even ordered, which was awesome! I love having water in addition to whatever drink I order. There were also a variety of condiments on the table so you don't have to ask (coffee creamer, hot sauce, Tabasco, ketchup, jams/jellies, and straws). The decor is pretty run-of-the-mill aside from the gorgeous swag lamps hanging from the ceiling! We ordered chicken strips and fries to share and it was definitely enough for two people at medium-hungry. The chicken was well-seasoned and the fries were straight cut and beer-battered. I'm pretty sure the ranch was homemade as well and my fiancé loved it. My only complaint about the food is that the batter on the chicken fell off easily. No big really, I know how to use a fork. Plus the batter is so good and the chicken is so juicy that you'll be licking your plate clean regardless. I also wanted to update the pictures of the menu! The most recent ones are a couple years old and the prices have changed a tad. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place for chicken strips if nothing else! P.S. we didn't have breakfast, but I did notice that the waffles are Belgian-style!

    I had the classic scramble.

What is the flavor and blend of coffee that is served called? I was hoping to pick some up atThe Roasterie if it available.

I don't know but I think it is made special for them. I would call and ask them if it can be purchased thru them or the roasterie. After all it is a compliment to the restaurant and the Roasterie!

The women working the cashier was very kind and helpful. Absolutely fantastic quality of food and coffee! Our whole group was impressed with everything that we ordered. The stand out was the bacon Gouda sandwich on some phenomenal ciabatta bread. The bagel was outstanding. The pastry case was drool worthy and we'll have to come back to eat through it. Price wise its a bit on the pricey side but worth it for the quality you're receiving. Lots of free street parking available. It's small but not too small with the outdoor and upstairs seating. I was quickly greeted by the very friendly staff after walking in. The bacon was very high quality and so was the bread. The cheese was super melted and made the almost garlic buttery mayo taste even better. I would highly recommend it and would recommend this place!!

I work from home now, I don't get out and about to my previous Planet Sub locations I frequented near my places of work before. But this place is worth a local "road trip" to treat myself to one of the best sandwich shops in the Kansas City area. IMHO, it puts the "freaky fast" and other competitors to shame. There is a large variety of sandwiches, never a lack of something to pick from when you go in there. And they genuinely come out hot! I love that they expanded the chips selection from when I used to go there before I was sent to work from home. Their cookies are second to none. And a decent selection of sodas at the fountain as well. I have to knock it one star due to no fault of the people who run this place, but for the corporation that owns them. It's disappointing that they have closed locations near me. I understand business choices, having to close restaurants due to increases in rent/poor performing, etc. But this is the only one on the side of the state line in Missouri, and that's very disappointing. I wish they would come back to Lee's Summit.
