My girlfriend bought a used tire from here for 50 dollars, when she drove her car home the tire went flat. We put air in it and this morning it went flat again. Now I'm here at les Schwab getting it patched, that's just a ridiculous price for a used tire, and the only reason she bought it was cause she wouldn't have made it home on and no other tire place was open near her. Do not go here unless you want to be ripped off. Update, les schwap tried to patch the tire and they said there was two ripps close together and it's unpatchable!! Was sold the wrong rim for my car tried to get them to get the right one. They would do nothing. They were super shady. I would only go to them for a emergency fix. They can not be trusted. A few months ago, one of the tires on our riding mower got a flat. I took the tire in there, and they found the hole & fixed it in about 5 minutes. I think they only charged me $5! This morning, I noticed that I had one tire on my car with very low tread. I went in & asked if they could change just 1. I thought I would try them since I am SO. TIRED. of the big chains saying it's their "policy" to sell me more tires than I actually need. No problem. I was hardly out of my car when they were already working on it. bottom line: CHEAP AND QUICK i thought i might of had a nail, pulled up to the front of shop (people already outside working on cars). someone greeted me quickly and i let him know my problem. he jacked it up, pulled the tire off dipped it in water and showed me the seal was bad (there was bubbling between the tire and rim). it was $16 and total time was about 20 minutes. i tipped a couple bucks. this place isnt the type of place where people are all wearing uniforms and where there is a waiting room with a flat screen/water/magazines. if thats what you need, then you wont be happy. if you dont mind standing outside for a little bit, then this place can save you money. this work was on a 2006 acura tl with 19inch rims (they didnt try to up the price because of the rim size or thin tires). read more

I always buy tires from these guys, but lately every time I come here the customer service has dwindled each and every time. They are short, aggravated and the lady behind the counter, who I can tell is the owner just by how she operates is nothing close to nice, don't expect a smile. Things like this is why I come to places, so this time I said ya know what Im going next door to Fierro's Tires & Wheels next door and the owner was nice and I enjoyed giving him business. Low tire prices, disappointed on service. Quoted tires at three different shops and theirs was the lowest so I took my car in. Wait time wasn't bad. They tell me the car is done but they said they couldn't align the tires because the tech that does alignments left almost two hours before closing? Fine, brought it back another day to have it done and I get my car back I find car grease on the interior roof and the carpet. Small things made me walk away unsatisfied with the work, especially when I'm trying to sell this car and they make my job harder. read more

Saturday morning, I notice a nail in my tire and being new in town, decided to call Calderon. Based on my tire size, he quotes me $18 to pull the nail and plug the tire. An amazing price, less than half what the big chains would charge. When I get there, he pulls out what turns out to be a small screw, does the soapy water test to determine if it punctured through (it didn't), then puts the tire back on, tops off and advises me the right psi for my tires, and says that'll be $5. What? This kind of service is unheard of - especially in the South Bay. I gave the guy a ten and told him to keep the change. Good job, Calderon Tire. read more

This is a really sketchy place to go get work done on your vehicle, I went in because I had a puncture in the new tire I had just bought a week before and they told me it was not fixable but when they brought out the new "replacement tire" it was the same exact one i had came in with patched over I refused to pay them full price of a new tire because they only patched over my old one that was on my car and tried selling it back to me at full price. Always keep your eyes open and pay attention to them if you happen to stop at that shady place. read more

Buyer Beware! The brothers that work at Calderons promised me a Cooper tire and did a "bait and switch" and put on "Delani." After the install was done, I asked them why they had put on a cheap tire and they lied and said that Delani was the same company as Cooper. I called Delani in Florida and the rep said that this information was an absolute lie. They also told me that I needed 3 new tires. Good Year down the street looked at my tires and said that I only needed 2 and the remaining tires had 40 % left. Shady Business and I will never return. read more

Don't go here. I've gone here twice, only because they were the closest tire shop to my house after I've gotten a flat. The prices are "fair" in a sense, yet both times I've gone, the replacement they sold to me went flat within a week, so I would have been better off paying retail elsewhere. I wouldn't even give this place 1 star! To start off with customer service sucked! There was 1 other person there and 4-5 workers and we waited for about 20 minutes to get our tire changed. The next day I wake up to a flat tire that had metal wire in it not a NAIL like the manager said but sharp wire. My husband took a day off today to get the tire replaced and they wouldn't replace the defective tire. What a coincidence that the wire found in work places like Calderon be stuck on the same tire that was replaced by them. To top it off I called to speak to the manager and he tells me It was a nail when it clearly wasn't a nail and there were more than one punctures of wire on the tire we bought from there. Then they charged another $10 to patch it! Discounted patch or not I know that tire was given to us like that! What a waste of money and time!They are rip offs! I ask the guy, how much for two new tires. In very broken English he says 150. I walk up to another guy who understood me better to get a second opinion. He says, one one five, 115 bro. I'm so hyped about the price I ask them to throw in a wheel alignment for 75. Now after a couple of hours watching Mike fumble around I'm called to the garage. He points out parts on my front suspension that are going to prevent him from doing a good alignment. I tell him I just got the entire suspension worked on a week earlier. My car is dropped ten minutes later and I'm charged 330 dollars. I ask the little lady who runs the shop, what's going on. She says it's 115 dollars each tire. I'm like no, take them off and keep your tires. They're only 80 bucks everywhere else, are you crazy. I'm told they don't take tires off. Isn't this a dam tire shop? Now I'm out extra money because of a language barrier? And when I drove off the alignment was totally off? WTF? Dam shame, I'm not going anywhere ever If they don't speak the English language. That, no no don't speak no English crap is getting out of control! Thanks to the young lady in the front for apologizing. Ok, if you want some crap tires that will shred on the freeway going to work, this is your places. Your tires will last 5 months. Federal rules mandate that the tire's D.O.T. code be clearly branded on the side of your tires. If you get tires from here, you better learn to read the code, and make sure you get the tires made in the same batch from the manufacturer because you will need to be careful if you buy tires here. You might get lucky and get some tires that won't destroy your car here, but no promises. This is why this place is popular with people who know nothing about cars: you drive your car in, give them your wallet, and they will put some cheap quality tires on your car fast. They will torque the shit of the lug nuts on your wheel and will bend the rotors of your brakes, or they will torque the lug nuts unevenly. They don't give a damn. Don't believe me? Get your tires done here. Then drive to a mechanics and have him check what they just did to your car. Are they fast? Yeah. But so is a thief. This place is a low-ball rip off. The DOT or sherriff should shut these guys down. read more
