I called them and left a voicemail message requesting a phone call back and I also went to their website and filled out their questionnaire. I did not get a call back, but I received an email explaining that they could install laminate flooring, but it was not their specialty. Their website clearly states that the offer installation for wood and laminate. When I filled out their questionnaire, I clearly noted that I was interested in both options. The email response I received also explained they were booked until August and they apologized for not being able to take on my project. There was no questions asked about our time line, project details, budget, nothing! Business must be really good if a company can simply turn business away without any questions asked. A gentleman by the name of Cash responded via email explaining that the form I filled out only came through with laminate and not wood as a selected option. He also explained that he didn't want be a disservice to us. The most professional manner would've have been to ask questions about our project before just turning us away. He would've found out that we didn't need this job started until after summer. I am completely disappointed with how this company went about this. You would think they would've offer to call me to explain, especially after I expressed my frustrations. They're proud to say they have 5 generations of craftsmanship. I only wish they were equally experienced with their customer service. I truly wish we would've had the opportunity to work together.

He cleaned up after he was done and left nothing behind. I even messaged him recently because I was looking to buy a can of touch up paint for when I have the bathroom countertops redone (drywall may need repairing and repainting after demolition) and I didn't know which white color paint he used and he responded promptly. He even went above and beyond and brought me some leftover paint of the color of my bathroom so I wouldn't have to buy my own paint can. James Sharrock sent the installers back out to put caulking in the gaps - pictures attached. It looked even worse. I talked to another contractor, and he said that it is common to put the caulking, but they sand it afterwards and clean it up. Floor Traders is not willing to fix it and make it right. I emailed the owner, Warren Sharrock, with no response. I've left phone messages and they are ghosting me. I will not recommend them to anyone. Well, they emailed me and said that I need to hire a finishing contractor to solve my issue. August 11, 2026 Well, they emailed me and said that I need to hire a finishing contractor to replace or modify existing door casings/jambs to solve my issue. They said that they put the caulking at my request (which is true). However, they shouldn't have put the caulking, if they knew that it would look like my pictures. They are supposed to be the professionals - not me.
