We also needed the doggie door transferred to the new door. We had 2 other handymen look at the job . They both wanted to replace the entire door frame so they wouldn't have to modify the door. As the frame was actually in good shape, and the time and money required was way out of our budget, we declined their offers. But JB (Jhonatan) responded quickly, and made an appointment to check the job out. He looked it over, took measurements, told us his plan and gave us an estimate with a fair price - so we agreed and set up an installation date. JB was right on time and went right to work. He was very methodical on how he cut the new door down on both the width and length to fit the opening, cutting the door handle, installing the doggie door, transferring the old doorknob and deadbolt to the new door, and finally painting it once it was installed. We were VERY happy with his work, and how the job turned out ! Bottom line is JB will be the first one we call going forward when we need more work done on our house. JB also offers drywall, flooring, roofing, tile, plumbing and fences. Give him a call, you'll save yourself a lot of time, and know the job will be done thoroughly and professionally !

He recoated the one side which has completely failed again since 2021. When given the chance to come look at the home he kept blowing me off. I have the text messages to prove that also. Most of the stucco on the hole is failing especially the areas where Valley West installed new foam. When Francisco did finally show up to look at it he told me I was out of luck and that these were just hairline cracks. The problem is the stucco is only failing where he installed new foam so clearly they did something wrong. He refused to remedy the situation so now I am in the process of having forensic stucco inspection so that I can take him to court. Beware

Communication, quality of work, expertise and customer service - all top notch. And the stucco work was artisanal. I have used Valley West 3 separate times and highly recommend them. They are my go-to for stucco, and I count on getting good referrals from them for other services. Valley West replaced a stucco wall that had been botched by a general contractor, after wind-driven water damaged the wall. They repaired and patched the same wall after a window had to be replaced. And they did wall repair all around the outside perimeter of my house prior to painting. They are the best!

Strongly Do Not Recommend I hired Carlos the owner of…read moreCentral Valley Marble, Tile & Stone due to his alleged 19 years of experience to remodel two small bathrooms for my daughter. It started out good I would come into town to check his work each week. The next few weeks he was not there when I arrived, but it looked like there had been some progress. Then I began to receive complaints about his work from the homeowners (HOS). He does not pay attention to detail as I witnessed. First, the HOS asked him to replace tile on the baseboard because it was uneven, and he got upset about it. Second, he neglected to grout much of the tile and again was upset the HOS asked him to correct his mistakes. (I have pictures). Third, I get a call and pictures that he refused to correct the shower faucet he installed which was protruding from the base, he said he thought it looked okay. This is unbelievable when you see the pictures. I asked him if this is the best he could do, and he replied "yes". At this point I was certain Carlos was not honest about his years of experience and was going to get someone else to finish his work. After speaking to the HOS, we decided it was unfair to pay him then hire someone to do fix his work. I told him I would call a plumber to install the faucet and deduct it from his pay. He argued with me that I was siding with the HOS. Then he decided he could fix it. Fourth, I received a picture that the bathtub over flow (chrome) was a different color than the faucet (brush nickel). He did not dispute this and made the necessary corrections. Fifth, when I walked through the bathrooms, I notice his caulking were awful/amateurish (see pictures). When the HOS moved in and began to use the facilities, there was another overflow that was missing, the caulking was awful and grout was missing you can see when standing. Of course, I contacted Carlos using the phone number we have always communicated with without a response. I have pictures of everything described in this review. Oh, did I forget one of his guys damaged a brand-new entry door. He tried to minimize the damage by saying the HOS were picky but agreed to pay for the repair. I found him to be disrespectful to the HOS. I told him if I had any idea he was this kind of person I never would have hired him. Needless to say. I am looking for a qualified contractor to fix his mess. In the strongest terms I DO NOT recommend Carlos.
