I used Perez tile because the bid was good. That being said he did not pay attention to our…read morediscussion about using an off set tile pattern. The first day we came home the tile had been laid in squares, no offset. They were able to pull up the tiles in the hallways and correct this but not in the bathroom. We also discussed they could remove the baseboards but not replace them. We removed most of them ourselves but one bathroom. They applied the tiles with the baseboards in place causing some of the baseboards to peel away from the wall. Very sloppy, lazy job. After I called Joe Jr. they finish the work by removing the baseboards and filling in the gap between the tiles and the walls with grout. Once the baseboards were put back on the grout line shows and is very obvious that it was not done correctly. They also were very sloppy. They threw the old baseboards into my succulent garden. Shards of old ceramic tile were all over the front yard. I guess you get what you pay for!!!!!

They all wanted to do things I didn't need, like replace the carpet instead of just the pad and rip out the wall to look for asbestos because of the age of my home. Okay, we aren't doing that! They also couldn't accommodate me before the mold would start to grow. Kevin came out the next day, didn't charge for miles, moved a heavy dresser, and went above and beyond. Thanks for putting my home back like it was before the flood.

I was looking to replace all the carpet flooring in my newly built home with LVP and found Mario…read morehere on Yelp right away. I decided to give him a try--and I'm glad I did. Mario's knowledge and understanding of flooring is top-notch. My home already had 6mm LVP on most of the first floor, but when we removed the carpet in one of the first-floor bedrooms, I did a calcium chloride test and found the concrete moisture level was much higher than I was comfortable with. After doing some research and discussing options with Mario, we decided to apply Bostik coat to seal the moisture. That made a huge difference. We also added a proper moisture barrier on top, which gave me peace of mind. Given the moisture level in the concrete, I ended up removing the original 6mm flooring too. That turned out to be the right call--when we pulled it up, we discovered the old moisture barrier sheets weren't taped properly, just laid side by side. So we redid the whole floor with Bostik + taped moisture barrier + 8mm LVP. Mario managed to reuse most of the baseboards--only one room needed new ones. While the project ended up a bit more expensive than originally planned, the results look great and I feel confident that the floor will hold up long-term. Mario is super friendly, honest, and goes out of his way to help. Highly recommend him if you're considering flooring work!

When he finished the job, he charged me $180 I sent the money via Venmo and was in a complete rush to get going out of town. So I did it without thought. It was 100 degrees. Yada yada. Two weeks later when I reconcile my account I'm thinking "Why was this $180?" My husband is like "why is this $180! He said it was $165! (We were both there) Good question! So I contacted him by text. He calls me and he starts to recalculate the math, which obviously doesn't add up. He then says "the hallway is $20" At NO point did he ever say there was a "hallway" charge. So I said if thats the case, then its now $185 Then he quickly says "Yeah and so I gave you $5 off discount, remember?" Uhhh... No you did not EVER mention no $5 off. Second of all, they missed a visible spot. (And I was gonna let it go. But now the money issue, the lingering smell of the unpleasant shampoo, and the spot, I couldn't let it go.) When I say this, he says they dont move furniture and only do high traffic areas. Yes I understood this when he told me this before starting, BUT this IS without the small couch having been moved. When we came back home it was shifted. Okay, so you guys moved it slightly, and you STILL missed the high traffic area (see photos). So he said he would return to clean it. And he would contact me by Friday to schedule a date. That his company is about the customer being happy, etc etc. It is now 5 days past Friday. If I own a business, I am going to be on top of stuff like this. Gotta make things right, right? So today 9/16 I texted him to tell him if he refunds me my $15 difference + $5 for the store product I will have to buy to clean the area myself which may or may not clean that spot, we could consider the job done. He agreed. So now I am here to let yelpers know my experience with this business. As far as the rest of the carpet, I will say I feel it was a decent job. The smell of the carpet shampoo is still lingering and its unpleasant but like I said, then rest of the carpet looks good. Was it worth $165. Eh. I'll say ok. When I hire the next carpet company, I will ask for an estimate in writing. Its hard to notice a spot when its still wet, in the drying process Also note, I went out of town to allow the carpet to air dry. When I got home, I noticed the spot. 3 star job.

We had ALL of the floors in our home replaced with Lifeproof luxury vinyl planks. This included lots of tile, carpet and laminate. It was stressful because we had to move all of our furniture out of the house, it was 100 degree weather and the tile removal created so much dust, all while continuing to live in our home. However, Gabe and his crew made it as painless as possible. Gabe took care of the ordering, picking up, installing and disposing of all materials. Even their garbage pile was nice and neat! Gabe and his crew were always pleasant to work with, respectful and arrived with smiles. Gabe listened to and addressed all of our concerns, even after hours. From the very beginning Gabe was never pushy and always let us choose what we liked. Gabe has the best knowledge on all floor types. Their prep work is amazing Clayton demoed and disposed of all of our existing floors leveled our place to be perfect for the new floors. The guys are about their business. We also needed the doggie door transferred to the new door. We had 2 other handymen look at the job . They both wanted to replace the entire door frame so they wouldn't have to modify the door. As the frame was actually in good shape, and the time and money required was way out of our budget, we declined their offers. But JB (Jhonatan) responded quickly, and made an appointment to check the job out. He looked it over, took measurements, told us his plan and gave us an estimate with a fair price - so we agreed and set up an installation date. JB was right on time and went right to work. He was very methodical on how he cut the new door down on both the width and length to fit the opening, cutting the door handle, installing the doggie door, transferring the old doorknob and deadbolt to the new door, and finally painting it once it was installed. We were VERY happy with his work, and how the job turned out ! Bottom line is JB will be the first one we call going forward when we need more work done on our house.
