He FaceTimed me when I was away and couldn't come in to see it face to face, he took millions of photos and videos of the car when I asked him to, it genuinely felt like I was already driving the car, I was never pressured into paying anything or forcing myself to do anything I didn't want, not only that but when I was ready to get the car I didn't have a ride to take me from my place to quantum auto sales and he set up a safe ride for me that took me there exactly, he let me test drive it, answer all questions, installed a new battery, cleaned the car and filled it up with gas. This review is specifically for Najwa Ayuob…read more I visited the dealership to look at a used Kia Sportage I had found online. Najwa was my sales consultant, and the interaction initially went well. The vehicle was ready when I arrived, she was informative, and the test drive was straightforward. During the test drive, we discussed the sales process, including some of the practices I prefer to avoid as a customer. I explained that I also work in sales, and we verbally agreed that we would keep the process straightforward and avoid unnecessary sales tactics. After I expressed that I was interested in purchasing the vehicle, Najwa explained that another sales consultant would be joining us to finalize the deal. At that point, the price presented to me was approximately $10,000 higher than the price I had seen advertised online. I was told that the difference was due to dealer-added features. I explained that I did not want the additional features and that I was interested in purchasing the vehicle at the advertised price. There was then a lengthy discussion about the pricing. I was told that the additional charges were simply part of the dealership's process. After I expressed my dissatisfaction, Najwa and the other consultant stepped away and returned with a proposal reflecting the original advertised price, without the additional $10,000 in charges. This was the most frustrating part of the experience. If the advertised price could ultimately be presented without the additional charges, it would have been much more effective to provide that pricing from the beginning rather than presenting a substantially higher price and negotiating back to the advertised amount. Afterward, Najwa told me, "I don't know why you're getting upset--you know how sales works." I do understand how sales works, which is why I found the experience particularly disappointing. I understand that dealerships have sales procedures and that salespeople are expected to follow them. However, transparency and consistency in pricing are important, especially when a customer has specifically asked for a straightforward transaction. Ultimately, I decided not to purchase the vehicle from this dealership. The vehicle itself was what brought me in, and the initial interaction was positive, but the way the pricing was presented and handled changed my decision.

I found a great truck, nice and clean, my dad's a mechanic and there weren't any glaring issues with it. I noticed below that someone mentioned that they were auction trucks, which didn't bother me. I've had the experience that I've traded in cars that would go to auction and end up in other places, it's not uncommon. Dealers don't want to get stuck with cars that don't fit their market, etc. ANYWAY, my car buying day was pretty stressful by the time I ended up at Sunset, but these guys were incredibly helpful, kind, and accommodating. I was able to test drive the truck without any issues. Drove the truck all the way to Montana and had no problems, hopefully I'll get another 100,000 miles out of it!
