It was towed because I was in an accident, and they assumed my insurance was going to get involved and each time they sounded confused when I said otherwise. D & S Tow, you blow!! Predatory? No…read more Scavengers is more apt. Reading the reviews, I experienced it. This is a company that profits from hurting people. Yes, there is the occasional road side assistance. Primarily they look for cars to steal. Harsh word, but appropriate. If your business model for profit is to look for mishaps to take people's property and charge an exorbitant fee for them to recover it, it is an ethical crime. Of course, they are only doing their job and wouldn't be able to do this "service" if property managements and other places contracted them for the service. They look for mistakes, hope no one finds the vehicles location in a timely manner to rack up fees and auction them if able too. All the while carrying little for the damage they cause to property, personal effects or the people's lives they damage with their avarice. Reno deserves better.
