In one of my recent road trips to Pyramid Lake, I managed to get stuck at Indian Rock, on Super Bowl Sunday no less.

I called AAA and they sent Bob. Here we are, two old ladies trying to get to Sun Valley to meet up with friends. It was over 100 degrees. Bob picked us up on the freeway and 20? minutes from Fenley. Bob made some calls to see if someone could help fix the car. Most places were closed for the day. He called the Toyota Dealership in Fallon for us to see if we would take the car there - and to see if someone could look at it. He drove us there - they couldn't do anything but we could leave it there until the next day. Great. NOW what?? Bob found us a motel for the night - only one room available in the entire town. And he waited to help us with our luggage. Someplace along the way, He also called a couple of rental car places - nothing available. This was all during COVID, by the way. No car parts, no rental cars, no other form of transportation (by this time, I just wanted to go back home) and no buses, or even a way to get back to Reno to catch a flight. Oh - I'd lost my driver's license and credit card, so we wouldn't have been able to get on a plane anyway. (NOT a good day). You know how - when one thing goes wrong, everything goes wrong? It turns out, when one thing goes right, everything goes right. Bob was the first thing to go right. The friends we were driving to see had a best friend in Fallon. And one of THEIR best friends owned the Toyota Dealership, and the owner had close ties to a local rental car company and they just happened to be able to find a car for us. If anyone happens to read this, call him for me and say hi. Thanks, Leslie

Insurance quoted a two hour wait for a tow. No Uber of Lyft (duh). 107 degree weather. Car's not working. We called Cal-Nevada and Carlos came through in 20 minutes and it was way cheaper than what insurance quoted us for their tow. Got where we needed to go and the driver was super nice and helpful. If this ever happens again, I'm not going to hesitate calling them!

In what was a horrible situation, my young daughter along with her 3 year old daughter, were broke down on I 80 West of Lovelock...I was nearly 4 hours away and every tow I contacted was unavailable! Needless to say I felt helpless but when I reached Katrina on the other line she too said her drivers were tied up and they were short handed. Once Katrina knew my situation I feel like she went an extra mile and more to help us out, she was able to 1) reassure me, and 2) somehow able to get a tow to them within 30 minutes - absolutely above and beyond and I am sooo grateful to Katrina for this, I'm sure she does this everyday but I wanted her to know HOW MUCH THIS MEANT AND IM SO THANKFUL FOR HUMANS LIKE HER- I had tears in my eyes when I realized I could not help my daughter, I was too far away and that was the first time I ever felt like that, completely helpless! Katrina and the tow driver were truly lifesavers for me and my family today. - thank you!

My job was done early but there was paint on the side of the vehicle. The issue with it being done early was I was not spoken to until a few hours before causing me to have to pay extra for a rental car because the original estimate was wrong. Since Jason was out of the office I was told he would touch base with me by Tuesday but he did not attempt to contact me till Thursday when I did not have service. His next call was Friday to come pick up the vehicle. This was a long holiday weekend and the rental place was closing in 2 hours. We previously worked out he would leave it for me to pick up over the weekend so I could arrange a ride. He promised the keys would be left behind the desk to be picked up the following Tuesday when the shop reopened. Not only were the keys left in the car I have a newer truck so it's physically impossible to leave the keys in it and it to be locked. Sadly today I was referred to go to this shop again to deal with good ol Jason. He proceeded to badger me of why I would want to work with him again. To be frank progressive said they don't have alot going on and the body shop I was trying to go to in Reno did not have the proper frame working tools as this company does. Instead of being professional he sadly trauma dumped about why he didn't call me instead of just saying sorry I missed this because of my vacation. Telling a pregnant woman about your daughters loss is so not tackful. A simple I'm sorry I didn't call you as my front desk had stated I would, would have kept me as a client and owned up to an honest mistake. Trauma dumping is so unprofessional. I definitely thought it would be worth the drive to reno to get my car fixed vs dealing with emotionally charged workers who miss final details. Good luck with this shop!
