I had The Rachael, basically a Reuben but with turkey, and my partner had the Margherita flatbread. The only downside is the acoustics - made for a very loud night and hard to hear others at times. This was formerly Mike's Pizza & Subs…read more We had gotten a large pepperoni & onion pizza and cheese bread. The pizza seemed underdone? I couldn't quite put my finger on it. But the toppings slid right off the pizza... literally onto the floor. The bread was pretty good! Loved all the cheese but it seemed almost a bit salty? Like, garlic salty? I think it needed a bit of seasoning on top... something green, basil... parsley? Knowing that the business had opened fairly recently, we knew to give them some grace. However, when we contacted the owner... They just said they were getting used to a new oven- no offer to give us a discount, a refund or anything else. Several weeks later, we decided to skip the pizza but try their nachos. We are always on the look out for a good plate of nachos. These were quite possibly the worst nachos we've ever paid for. The toppings were only on the top layer of extremely salty chips. I actually added a few toppings that I had on hand to try and spruce them up. They were so bland, no love was put into these! They get so many rave reviews on facebook, so we were hopeful, but we've been super disappointed.

It cost about $20 & that seemed a bit pricey. We thought the nachos would be coming with additional toppings but instead it was literally chips with queso on top. It made the chips so soggy that we couldn't eat them. The queso consistency reminded me more of gravy and lacked more depth a flavor. The guacamole was pretty tasty, fresh and flavorful. The chips were pretty tough, almost stale tasting. This particular visit didn't leave the best impression and I'm not sure we will be back with so many other options available to us. I think they have potential, but they need to work on their seasoning and flavor profiles- at least where the nachos are concerned.
