When I saw the words "cider" and "apple" and the "open" sign in the window, I abruptly pulled off the road and stepped inside. Warmly greeted by a black lab, I grabbed Jonagold for grandma, Macintosh for sister, acorn squashes, apple butter, cider (several sizes offered and samples available), and a batch of apple cider donuts. Since the pandemic, there have been several different items I have not been able to get for my family that they love. Some prices have really sky rocketed on some items as well. Aldi sometimes has a nice house plant selection too, when they are watered and taken care of. The store is cleaned and products are not in the aisle ways. The shelves are typically always full, unless it doesn't come on the truck. Or the supplier just isn't sending it.

This time, a staff member--later identified as the manager--told them, "If you don't see them, we don't have them," and offered no assistance. Frustrated, I went myself and found the rubber bands easily right where they were supposed to be. This wasted an entire hour of our time because the manager couldn't be bothered to help two young customers. When I complained, I was told the manager was at the bank. This lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable, especially for a store that's supposed to be a reliable neighborhood spot. I hope management addresses this to ensure it doesn't happen again.
