Their website does not even give an address for the outlet. We happened upon RP on our way to the (closed) Bison Ranch on the other side of town. A VERY ENTHUSIASTIC guy named Kurt, Boyfriend to Dona of the soon-to-be-opened Dona's Buffet, let us in and gave us more info about Rick(le) and his pickle(s) than I personally cared to have but my (I'm Nuts) husband Steve bonded with Kurt and they talked pickles. Rick(le) now packages his pickles in smaller jars. Thank you Jesus and Rick. We picked up one jar ($7) and promised to return when Dona opened her buffet. The pickles are tasty and unusual. We purchased the chips. They aren't sweet. They aren't dill. There is A LOT of garlic involved. Just go to the website and find a local outlet and buy yourself a jar of Rickle's Pickles. PS We happened upon the pickle outlet (NO I NOT FREAKIN' KIDDING - IT SAYS PICKLE OUTLET RIGHT ON THE DOOR!!!) in the outlet mall the night before and purchase $50 dollars in pickles and stuff so I was able to keep our RP purchase small. However, I now have $57 worth of assorted pickles to store. I think Steve will have an assortment tossed in with his cremains. Maybe sooner than he planned...

The feature is of course their pickles, which are sweet and crunchy and highly worth getting. In the store, they only sell pretty huge jars, but the groceries in town carry them in the deli where you can buy fewer. I bought a jar of pickled jalapenos and a jalapeno/pickle mustard both of which were outstanding. I shoulda bought more. The store is actually pretty small, and includes some antiques and other locally made food like jams and jellies. It's a cute area, though and nice for walking around.

As stated above, this location is a Supercenter so that means they have general merchandise and a grocery store. In Alabama they call that a two for one and put big yellow smiley faces on all of their signage. This place is pretty clean in general, well organized, and their non-grocery Walmart prices are comparable to anything you find online and all of the Supercenter prices are better down the street at Meijer. Their friendliness is apparent as soon as you walk in the door and are greeted by their senior citizen greeter. While they may not be able to hear you or stand for too long, they have a smile on their face and make you feel welcome. They actually have employees that are assigned to departments and are able to answer questions and able to give advise or recommendations. Their management is able to properly staff their checkouts to provide adequite staffing. If they get busier than expected they shift a department worker to a cash register to accomodate the masses. The best two things about Wally World is the people and the second is that they are not Meijer. Seriously Walmart is great for people watching and that is more than enough to give them a positive recommendation on that alone. If you are in Angola, it is better than driving to the Fort Wayne Zoo and they are absolutely your best option for general department store shopping.

Since the pandemic, there have been several different items I have not been able to get for my family that they love. Some prices have really sky rocketed on some items as well. Aldi sometimes has a nice house plant selection too, when they are watered and taken care of. The store is cleaned and products are not in the aisle ways. The shelves are typically always full, unless it doesn't come on the truck. Or the supplier just isn't sending it.

One review left this place with a bad review. At the time, maybe they were just restocking. It's a small store so anytime you start to restock it's going to look a little messy. Either way, don't let yelp reviews deter you from saving money in these expensive and difficult times.

I had never heard of Ollie's until I asked a friend where they got their extra wide pet gate and…read morethey gave me a heads up about Ollie's Bargain Outlet. I made it a point to stop here the next time I was in the area and I was not disappointed. When walking in I was reminded of the early days of Big Lots. A store that purchases a lot of buy outs, close outs, discontinues, off brands, and foreign imports. They honestly have a little bit of everything from groceries, housewares, clothes, books, toys, knick-nacks, pet supplies, automotive, home improvement, outdoor stuff, a little of this and a little more of that. The employees were helpful and knowledgable of where things were located. Not knowing where anything was, they could have used more overhead signage, I was able to find an employee quickly and he was able to direct me where I needed to go. Just after I found what I was looking for the employee showed up to make sure I found it. As my item was located in the back of the store I was able to get the lay of the land and the layout and organization did make sense. Still if an employee was not available overhead signage or a store map would make it easier for a customer to find what they were looking for. In general the store was clean, nothing was obstructing the aisles, and it appeared as if things were well stocked. Checkout was fast, friendly, and efficient. They have a loyalty program that I declined, but it may be beneficial to someone that shops here on a regular basis. Overall I had a great experience and would recommend shopping here if you see something they advertise you want, you get a referral as I did, or if you are looking to say a few bucks. I am very happy with my purchase, it had great value. The same manufacturer is sold on Amazon.com for $20-30.00 more depending on the seller who is offering it.

They returned empty-handed after being told the bands were "on the back wall" but couldn't find them. I sent them back, instructing them to ask for help again. This time, a staff member--later identified as the manager--told them, "If you don't see them, we don't have them," and offered no assistance. Frustrated, I went myself and found the rubber bands easily right where they were supposed to be. This wasted an entire hour of our time because the manager couldn't be bothered to help two young customers. When I complained, I was told the manager was at the bank. This lack of accountability and poor customer service is unacceptable, especially for a store that's supposed to be a reliable neighborhood spot. I hope management addresses this to ensure it doesn't happen again.
