This corner store is authentically Mexican. They have all the classic Mexican groceries, in-store butcher, baked items in the back (although I don't think anything is baked in-store any more), and a small sit-in/takeout restaurant. We have gotten tacos here before which were good. And we recently did a steak torta taste test among local Mexican restaurants and La Esperanza came in second. Good effort! I've been coming to this store since before it opened, literally! While under construction I would come knock on the door and ask "how long before you open". I still go there for the authentic food on the shelves, the produce and the prepared food. They have the best Tilapia in a 100 miles!
