    Deliciousness to go
    Anthony B.

My girlfriend came over for dinner for the first time, and she brought with her all the way from Shorts in Coldwater this Yoders Peanut Butter Pie. I don't know if I was happier to see her at my door or a peanut butter pie in her hands. Either way, I couldn't wait for dessert. Little did she know that peanut butter pie is my favorite. Well it wasn't very long after dinner that I said "ok, time for dessert". What a surprise it was when I took a bite of that creamy goodness. It was fantastic! So the main filling is this vanilla cream topped with a whipped topping. The peanut butter is a layer just above the crust in the bottom of the pan. I did a breakdown the next morning when I had a bite for breakfast. I will be saddened when the pie is gone, but I will be going here next time I go to this side of the state.

This place is awesome! I stopped in and so glad I did. This place is a deli counter, bakery, restaurant salad bar, homemade salads, grilled meats, and bulk items. Ordered a small sandwich from the deli counter for $2.99 and a small cucumber/tomato salad. Total bill: $5.04 Sandwich was excellent and filling. You get to pick what items you want on the sandwich. The cucumber/tomato salad was fresh and reminded me of my grandmother's salad. So good and filling. I walked around the store and was impressed with how clean and friendly all the staff were. The prices for baked goods was reasonable and I will definitely try the next time I visit. This place is awesome. Trust.

I have an acquaintance who works across the street at a social service agency, and she tells me that 5 days a week she goes to Yoder's to eat lunch. The deli and the bakery are quite excellent. We are fans of the bakery, in particular. Recently, we grabbed several carrot cake muffins and a slab of lemon bars. Both were heaven. I will say that we are not fans of their cheese based soups since Velveeta is used as the base, and there is no amount of money that will convince me that a broccoli Velveeta soup is actually a broccoli cheese soup.

Great food is an understatement. Whether it's the fresh donuts, the fresh salad bar, the deli, or even their bulk items; it is all superb! An overall great family friendly atmosphere.

We found out about this place 6 years ago from our lovely neighbor, Carol. We come here every weekend in the summer for things like veggies/ranch, deli meat, salads, fresh bread and, of course, the occasional donuts. I also stock up on jam here to last us through the winters in Chicago. Everything here is fresh, unique and the people are helpful and nice. Yoder's is a Lake Templene highlight to me and I will be forever grateful to the team here and how kind they always were to our dear friend, Carol. Thank you. She loved 'Yodies'.

Everything tastes awesome. The donuts, pastries and pies are food crack. Thankfully, the market isn't too close or I would weigh 400lbs.

They sell milled flour and primary ingredients for making your own stuff. I found it interesting how many different types of flour, spices, and primary ingredients like borax used for cleaning laundry and disinfecting were available for purchase by the pound. I was able to buy homemade black licorice for $3. Homemade canned strawberry rhubarb butter to spread on toast for $4-5. They also have a huge discount section and the kids loved stretching their $5 budget and got a bunch of Halloween and Christmas specific candy cheaply for no other reason than it being the wrong holiday. My husband bought some Amish sourdough bread, but was disappointed with the taste. Upon looking at the label I noted there were a lot of ingredients. Just something to note. Not all Amish foods are created equal and not all items are organic or without preservatives. Read your labels, make educated choices and admire a store of thrifty, honest, and hardworking folks.

I loved the aisles with products deeply discounted because they were nearing the expiration date. But you can definitely use most items well past those dates. The employees were very efficient.
