Absolutely delicious and super budget-friendly! The service system is really friendly, and placing an order couldn't be easier.

The place is quite small, only two 2-person table inside and a lot of tables outside. It's in a small plaza next to Starbucks. - Sea men's combo 5/5 He accidentally gave us 2 lobster tails and gave us 1 snow crab too. The service is SUPERB. The everything sauce is on the garlicky side and we got the (highest) level of spicy. It wasn't too spicy for me but my friend was dying. The seafood definitely tastes fresh. I prefer the snow legs here vs boiling crab. Free parking in small lot.

I was craving it last night and decided to take a chance. I ordered 1/2 pound of shrimp with the heads on, 1/2 pound of clams, 2 nobs of sweet corn and 3 pieces of red potatoes. I specifically asked for just spicy and no butter (to see if they were paying attention). I got exactly what I asked for and delivery was quick. Luckily, I have plastic gloves at home because it looked wonderfully messy. The spice level was definitely on pointe; very Asian level spicy (which is what I prefer). The only problem I had was that the shrimp are not deveined and/or left in clean water in order to empty their digestive tract. Kind of a bit unappetizing; I can put up with some but there was just too much and the shrimp was kind of mushy. It's sad because shrimp is my favorite. I took a picture of what I'm talking about. I hope they improve on this.

Out of the appetizers, the sprouts was the one that surprised me the most. The bacon and seasoning complement the baked Brussels sprouts perfectly. The calamari was whatever, I felt it was too battery for my personal liking but my friend loved it. The oysters were smaller than what I usually get from other restaurant but it still hit the spot. The entree was amazing and the jambalaya has quite a kick to it even when I ordered it at medium heat. There was plenty of shrimp, mussels, sausages, and protein in the pasta and rice dish. Parking in the plaza was atrocious because it is a busy plaza with a gym and other amazing restaurants and quick bites. Can't wait to stop by again.

The environment is family-friendly, with several tables occupied by kids and families. Just be aware that the music and overall noise level are fairly loud. Service was attentive and they checked up on us regularly. We ordered 2 dozen oysters ($1.50 each), the fish and chips ($11.50), mussels and clams ($10.50), and a beer. The oysters were fresh, mostly clean, and came with the usual accompaniments. My only minor complaint is that small seafood forks would have been nice to have available. The mussels and clams were the disappointment of the meal. While the broth itself was flavorful, the portion was downright sad. We received only 4 mussels and 4 clams total, and the bowl felt almost empty. The standout was definitely the fish and chips. Dare I say the best fish and chips I've ever had? The batter was well-seasoned without being overly salty. The fish was crispy, hot, flaky, and surprisingly not too greasy. The fries were also excellent, with a crunchy exterior and fluffy, mashed potato-like interior. I would absolutely order this again. Overall, for happy hour, come for the fresh oysters and fish and chips. Skip the embarrassingly skimpy bowl of mussels and clams.

The process was quick and easy, they took my order and let me know it would be ready in about 20 minutes. I received a text when it was ready! I ordered 1 pound of shrimp and fries and both were really good! I appreciated that they included bibs, limes, and butcher paper with the to-go order which made it easy to enjoy at home. They forgot the salt and pepper but it wasn't a big deal since I had some at home. The customer service was great over the phone and in-person. It's located by the AMC and there are different eateries in the area.

Glad I got corn to go with it - should have had 3-4 1/2 cobs and not just one!! Remember to wear appropriate clothing or you WILL get messy. I hadn't plan to go here and so I was wearing a dress shirt (dumb!!!!) but luckily they provide bibs and gloves but the crawfish are so slippery the gloves are not very helpful. The staff were friendly and helpful but ordering is a real challenge - but we did it. Maybe 30% of my crawfish were a good size but the majority were so small it was virtually impossible to get the meat out and remove the intestines (esp with gloves) and actually have something left to eat. Maybe I'll try the crab next time? Yes we will be back

Especially if you want great gumbo and cornbread. Things to know: First off, the food is delicious. Second off, this place has an A rating for food inspection. The place is a registered business (or else you couldn't list yourself on Google Maps) Besides... you live in LA and have survived danger dogs. That A rating should help you feel relieved, either way. If not, the smile you receive as you get the food hopefully will. You have to go up a few stairs on the left to get to the spot. Don't worry, there's signs that'll tell you where it is. Parking situation is a rough during rush hour but you should be able to squeeze in the street. You get some beads with your food, which is cute. Sounds like a fun thing to get if you ordered delivery while you're drinking at home (or work) with friends. So yeah, the food is great. It's super well made. The quality is what I was hoping for from a place that specialized in gumbo. Much like how I would expect the ramen to be good when they serve nothing but ramen. 100% recommend getting the cornbread with the gumbo, btw. I totally ate most of it while I was driving home so I'd say I recommend getting extra. (they're conveniently bite sized. I couldn't help. Lol)
