I love cafe Zupas. The staff here are friendly and my online order was ready on time. There is plenty of dining and a patio area outside too. Lots of parking right out front. Download their app for savings/deals/rewards. My favorite sweet treat is their Creme Brûlée Cheesecake. Lots of high quality items at a fast and reasonable price.

I really enjoy this restaurant chain for quick and simple meals. I usually get a pick 2, salad and soup. They have delicious soups, and I've never had a bad one. My favorites are the roasted red pepper lobster bisque, mushroom bisque or Wisconsin cheese & cauliflower mix! The salads are cheaper if you do a pre- selected option, rather than a BYO, which has you pay for individual ingredients. My current favorite is chipotle ranch glazed over spinach with quinoa. Be sure to add a house drink, as they make fresh squeezed juice without any added sugar or ingredients. The best part is everything comes with a chocolate covered strawberry!

Soup, filled barely halfway

They let you mix the soups, in case you want something like half vegetable and half mushroom soup. That's what I had, and it was pretty good. But as you can see from the photo, they filled it up barely halfway, so it wasn't a lot of food. The French bread is a kind of a dense, sticky refrigerated roll. And you get a chocolate dipped strawberry with the soup. I might come back and see if they fill up the bowl higher next time, otherwise it's really a tiny amount of soup.

I LOVE cafe Zupas!! I always have a positive experience and remove my food quickly. They have so many options ranging from salads to soups, salads and even desserts. I personally love the ultimate grilled cheese. This panini style sandwich is cooked to perfection and the pesto is a great flare to a classic grilled cheese. I also really appreciate their Choose 2 option which allows you to choose 2 different dishes for a discounted price. This is great for me as I always want to try so much from the menu.

Lots of bread. No meat or cheese to speak of.

My wife's cauliflower soup was excellent. My Italian sandwich was the biggest rip-off I have experienced at a restaurant. For $8, you'd think the meat and cheese would allow you a decent bite. Meat slices (granted, there were four) were literally 1/32" each. So little meat, cheese, and dressing that there was virtually no flavor other than the bread, which was plentiful. Do NOT EVER order this sandwich. Run, don't walk to either Subway or Jersey Mike's for a sandwich with flavor and one that has more than twice the ingredients for the same price.

Amazing staff

Amazing food and super friendly staff. The catering person is so helpful and friendly. A must to visit with the family. Many options even for picky eaters.

Everything is good here but the soup is off the charts! The one I like the best is the Mushroom.

A bit on the steeper size price wise,…read morehowever it stands up with their "normal" prices for the most part (I think if they included chips or something it would feel like better value overall). We got takeout on this occasion which was slick, albeit a bit tricky due to parking in the linden hills area by this restaurant. I got the turkey in the hills sandwich and the tomato soup. Both of these were hits and were a good amount of food too. My mom got the same sandwich with the chicken wild rice soup which wasn't as much of a hit as the tomato but was still decent and then my sister got a veg sandwich with the tomato soup. Overall I like the lunch special and think it could be perfect with a sandwich and salad on a summer day

SPACE There are a few 4-tops on the patio in front, a handful of bar seats inside with a small, cozy indoor table footprint, and a handful of 2-3 tops on the back alley. SERVICE The bartender told us to go find a spot on the back alley, so we did - but not sure we did things right, as our server walked past us a few times without acknowledging us. Service was friendly but limited. DRINKS They had a nice cocktail menu, but I opted for an Aperol Spritz. My husband chose off their limited NA menu a lavender honey lemonade, and it was a bit too sweet for him. I'd love to see some mocktail options here! FOOD We just got a few shareables since we were heading to dinner after, but their sandwiches were making my husband's mouth water! We got: Pickle Brined Wings - amazing flavor, salty and dilly, but I would have liked quite a bit more char on them: they were pretty pale. Minnesota Sushi - my husband loved this! Served with Ritz crackers, and it's the perfect little shareable dip.

We were in the neighborhood with friends and decided to try Town Hall Station for an early dinner…read more Our party of seven was seated immediately, but even though the restaurant was not very busy at that time of day, service was slow. One waitperson seated us with menus, and then....nothing. After a while, a new waitperson arrived and informed us that she was taking over. She brought water and then left. After almost ten minutes, we flagged her down, and she came to take our orders. Two people in our party were interested in the taco offerings but said they couldn't tolerate "heat" and asked how spicy they were. The waitperson assured them that the dishes were not at all "hot" and were very tasty. Well, the tacos were too hot for them to eat. They mentioned that to the waitperson when she came around to ask the proverbial insincere question, "How are the first few bites?" The waitperson had no comment. More importantly, she didn't apologize, offer a replacement, or suggest another item that may be of interest. She just left. A party of seven, all ordering entrées, presents an opportunity for a nice tip. One would think that would motivate staff who work for tips to be accommodating, timely, and helpful. Not in this case. Oh, and the women's bathroom was dirty. Don't think we'll be back anytime soon.

On one side is a meat market with a variety of cuts of steaks, lamb, and other meats, which all looked fresh and quite nice. They also have a variety of items such as canned goods, pasta, eggs, etc. on the shelves opposite the meat counter. The entire place is quite sunny, pleasant, and cozy. On the other side is the eat-in, take-out deli sandwiches, that are made to order. The quality of the ingredients is excellent. The bread is freshly made (crispy baguette type) and you have a choice of Roast Beef, Roast Turkey, Tuna Salad, Smoked Ham, or Corned Beef. All sandwiches are $16.50 each (including tax) and come with a choice of mayonnaise, spicy stone ground mustard, red leaf lettuce, thin sliced red onion, salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, raw grated horseradish, pickled jalapeno, and roasted bell pepper. The default includes all toppings so if you don't want everything, be sure to specify what you do NOT want. Surprisingly, they do not carry any diet soda, nor do they stock any national brands (only local pop). There is a large menu on the wall, and you order at the counter and pick up the order (no table service). The food was attractively presented, and very, very good. My only gripe (besides the lack of diet pop) is that it's on the expensive side for lunch. Two sandwiches, a couple of bags of chips, and a couple of cans of pop will easily top $40, although I'd say the quality is top-notch.

I was on the street in front of Clancy's when one of their customers was mis-identified as an officer of an organization that was terrorizing Minneapolis. It had nothing to do with Clancy's! As I tried to get to my car, people yelled the most obscene and disgusting epitaphs at the couple in front of me. I was just walking down Grand Avenue. They were even spitting at this innocent individual. As a liberal who marched for civil rights and against the war in Vietnam during the 1960s and 1970s, I was horrified. Blaming Clancy's is ignorant, and an integral part of how this country is dismantling. Clancy's Meats & Fish is important to our neighborhood, and represents the kindness and empathy that has been representative of Minnesota for decades. Give them your support.

I'd definitely go back for casual bites! this is such a strong start for this new spot, and I hope they keep building momentum. only tiny notes: cocktails could use a little refining-- especially the espresso martini, and seriously... can we get some banana peppers as a topping option on the menu?
