Tender juicy chicken on a bed of Romain and spring mix with avocado, red onions & tomatoes. Very nice! My SO had the Harvest bowl. Sweetgreen is a go-to order for lunches at the office! They have a ton of options, are easily adaptable for vegan or GF, and are usually super yummy. The only thing I've noticed about this location is that every time I order, my salad is always missing 1-2 items. It's usually something innocuous and doesn't stop me from ordering, but good to be aware of. For example, my Italian chopped salad tasted super fresh and great, but it was missing the banana peppers and bread. I think this may only be an online order/delivery issue, because every time I go in person my order is perfect and everyone working there is super nice. read more

I also got a refreshing jasmine green tea - loved that it wasn't sweet! There is a lot of seating in the bright and clean atmosphere. Parking is available in a small lot attached to the nearby bank. Firstly this place was well maintained and I absolutely loved this place. Looks like a perfect place to have lunch and eat lunch. I took there limited chicken burrito bowl and it was amazing. They have burrito made out of wild rice and chicken and it was absolutely delicious. Loved it a lot. The sauce they had with the bowl was so well falvored. It had the right spice good enough for the bowl. The crispy treat was actually good too. I never had one with honey flavored and liked this one. I took the hibiscus tea drink and it's good too. Sweetgreen is popping up everywhere! You can find them in Edina, Minneapolis, and Saint Paul. I recently placed an online order for pick up from the Saint Paul location on Grand Ave. This was my first time & I really enjoyed my experience for the most part. They have signs for the pick up area & I will say it was a little confusing. Mine was sitting in the wrong area. I sat and waited for a while and then sowmone helped me find it. I ordered online specifically because I wanted to try an online exclusive bowl. The Ann Kim Bowl which is made w/ arugula, wild rice, raw beets, red onion, roasted sweet potato, shredded cabbage, toasted almonds, raw carrots, steelhead, & fresh lemon to squeeze & a spicy cashew dressing! I also ordered a build your own salad and two sides. The sides were the buffalo cauliflower & roasted sweet potatoes w/ honey mustard. Sweetgreen is known for serving healthy, fresh, & locally sourced ingredients. You could definitely tell & this might be my new favite spot to grab lunch! I wish they were all closer to where I live. Clean interior and clean food! The big spacious windows allow for natural light to shine in. Very simple decorating, fun music and easy to navigate line process. There are high top bar seats by the windows and a smaller low top section to sit towards the back. Note: All seating contains charging stations! This could be a nice place to come for work or school!? I tried the harvest bowl and it did not disappoint. The inside signage indicates that most ingredients are organic and locally sourced where possible. I had fun reading where each food was sourced from farm wise. I went light on the hot sauce dressing and medium on the pesto vinaigrette and that was a great combo. Highly recommend this salad! The kale Caesar (no dressing as pictured) was $12. It comes with bread as well! I was disappointed with the seating options. The food is pretty good, but their operations are horrible. I ordered food from this location online and they didn't include multiple ingredients, even though online it said those ingredients were available. This was on top of two ingredients already being out of stock and me having to pay extra just to get similar ingredients included. I've been to Sweetgreen on Grand Ave several times. Even though it's a bit out of my way, I'm probably at over 30 visits. The salads and bowls are excellent, it's my go to place when I want to grab some healthy and quick. I stopped in again last night and was really disappointed with the service. I arrived at around 8:40pm which I know is close to closing. To make a long story short, I stood there for 10 minutes while one employee mopped the floor, one was talking on his mobile, one looked like we was finishing a large online order, and one was in the kitchen area. They could all clearly see me waiting and not one even acknowledged my presence. I have no problem waiting, I know they were busy, but the least one of them could have done was acknowledge me with a simple, we'll be with you shortly or something to that effect. I finally had to ask the employee mopping if I could get some help. Rude way to treat a customer. read more

I'm hooked! I have been trying to eat healthier and Sweetgreen is just what I needed. I don't like salads so it's hard to find a "fast food" option that feels fresh and healthy. And I'm also slightly picky with "healthy" food in general haha. Girl loves a cheeseburger. However, I was happy to find Sweetgreen on Grand Avenue and it was an instant yes from the first bite. I have ordered the limited special Chipotle and Chicken Burrito bowl a few times now. Please keep it forever! It's so good. All the ingredients are fresh and in my mind, healthy. The bowl packs a lot of flavor and fills me up pretty quickly. I can usually eat half for lunch and then save the rest for dinner. It's such a nice healthy alternative to a salad. I also am hooked on the crispy rice dessert. It's like a caramel rice krispy bar. Trust me, you need to try one. I'm sometimes tempted to just order a bunch and keep them at home. The space on Grand is really pretty and has a lot of light if you want to stay and eat there. The staff is all really friendly and helpful. I ordered online for pickup. While setting up the account is tedious, the app works OK. We discovered on this order and the previous one that the chicken is universally dry and tastes old. I'd recommend avoiding the chicken or ordering extra dressing to moisten it with. The non-meat salads and bowls were very good. Greens are fresh. read more

I was told they were out of the steak and several other ingredients in the bowl and it would take about 15 to 20 minutes to prepare the ingredients. Matt was the only one who greeted me, and they seemed short staffed as there were only three people on the floor with a ton of online orders. One of the male employees rolled his eyes when Matt looked at him to serve me (Matt was busy with online order). Overall the employee who served me was very rude and was annoyed the whole time. I love food here, it's an overpriced salad but it's very good at healthy. The inside is nice but weird experience with that particular employee. So far, two awful experiences. The first time there were 2 pieces of chicken in a very meager salad bowl. The second recent time, they would not honor an online credit, even though the app indicated the store was closed due to a power outage and unable to order online. It's a real shame as this place has great food, but it just seems after repeated visits that the staff is either poorly trained or not interested in serving the public. They seem very disorganized. I went to the Grand Ave location with 2 others. We routinely go to this location. On our visit today, we noticed the bowls were considerably smaller. When we asked about the bowl sizes, the server stated that those were the correct size. She said she had been there for 2 weeks and that those were what she knew. We have been going long enough to know that those were NOT the original sized bowls Sweetgreens started out with and that we grew to love! Instead of arguing or debating with the server, we canceled our orders. Within a few minutes, a couple came in and also decided not to order. When you have customers who visit the establishment routinely, simply saying those are the bowls you've seen for 2 weeks doesn't cut it! Sweetgreens lost 5 orders within minutes due to customers not being satisfied with the reduced product. Previously we have been very satisfied with the product and hence that's why we kept going. If Sweetgreens is going to cut the size of the product being given, they should also cut the price since customers are being charged the same price with much less salad. read more

holy shit guys. first of all let me just say that my salad was fire but before we get into all of that, let me give you some back story....(*flashback piano music*) it all started the previous night..... i had forgotten to eat dinner and had a few too many seltzers, and wouldn't you know it, i woke up this morning feeling quite unwell. stomach, head, body, the whole nine yards. i recently had heard through the grape vine that a new sweetgreen had opened in st. paul, and i figured now would be the perfect time to try it. i place my order through the app, got the shroomami bowl (gas asf as previously mentioned) and decided it was time to brave the hangover. i took myself on an absolute journey to get to this sweetgreen, one could even say it was my everest. the sweats i had, the trials i conquered (headache and sweaty) and i finally arrived to my destination. the location was pristine. perfectly clean, which unfortunately made me stick out like a sore thumb, but alas, i see my bowl for pickup on the pickup shelf, i place my undeserving hands on it, and i leave to eat it. i cannot described the heightened levels of euphoria and the dopamine rush that i had when i took my first bite of this salad. the feelings that came over me are incomparable to anything i have ever felt. the shroomami bowl is delectable. sweetgreen corporate put their whole sweetussy into that recipe and i'm not even close to kidding. it's comparable to the first 70° day of the year. not only this, but this salad worked wonders. i have medical grade hangovers, hangovers that could kill a small child. hangovers that dont go away until 36 hours after they start. this bowl got rid of my hangover. in short, you may be curious, will i be coming back here? and i answer you this; if it is possible, i will be coming back to this sweet green every day until the day i die. if the shroomami bowl has 10,000 fans i am one. if the shroomami bowl has no fans then i am dead. read more

I generally only post positive reviews but today I'm taking the time to talk about the staff at Sweet Greens on Grand Ave. in St Paul. One person was pleasant, all others seemed not to have any customer service skills whatsoever. The person that made my salad did not smile, barely spoke, and when he did speak, I could barely hear him. He had a dead pan emotionless look on his face.While we were eating one employee went into the bathroom and didn't come out for an extended period of time. That caused two different employees to come look for the person. The second person finally knocked on the door and told him to get out the bathroom as there were several orders stacking up. As one person was doing his best, all others seemed to care less. There was a young man behind it looks like the prep area who appeared to be conscientious to, but did not have customer interaction. Bottom line, made me wonder what else they don't care about. There are other salad options on Grand Avenue. read more
