Their coffee is always strong and their pistachio muffins are addictive! They have outside seating in the back as well. Their coffee menu is extensive! They also make sandwiches and salads. Caffeinated is my go to coffee spot when I'm in Colusa (weekly). They have excellent coffee drinks, the best cookies in town, and hands-down, the best egg salad sandwich (they also have a lovely variety of other big beautiful sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches and pastries)! Most of the staff is absolutely lovely, particularly Jordan, and they're very customer service focused. The ambience of the shop is darling. It's got a good amount of seating and the vibe is casual and rustic, and very coffeehouse which I love. Highly recommended, five stars, GO! This is THE coffee shop to visit while you are in charming downtown Colusa. read more

My mom went into caffeinated today for coffee and muffins. She got a whole container full of muffins, and 2 coffees that she PAID for. I asked for an iced vanilla latte, she got a caramel macchiato. I tasted nothing but sweetened milk. I went back to caffeinated because we paid for these drinks they were not free. I get there and I told them this tasted nothing like coffee. The woman proceeds to open my drink pours a shot that was sitting on the counter and pours it in the drink creating a mess. She finds a towel barely wipes it down. She says it was made with "cold brew" yet puts an espresso shot in a cold brew, when I had asked for a latte? How does that make any sense? I had coffee everywhere in my car cup console. I don't care if this place is in Colusa where people don't know good coffee and good customer service and don't care what they pay for but not EVERYONE that comes here is from Colusa and some people KNOW better. I will never come back here, because the woman working didn't do anything for me, the coffee was still crappy. I removed myself from the situation before I lost it on whoever was working. This was our first time here. The place is really cute and cozy. I loved their entire set up. Had a very cute vintage look. Food was Soo delicious and you can definitely taste that the food is made from scratch. I'm so so glad we stopped here and did not go to McDonalds for breakfast. Yes, the best place for service & their entire selection of fresh baked items is the yummiest & a nice selection of muffins! Plus, they make the most delicious breads especially the sour dough! Wow you should see their tall, tall, tall cakes. 4-5 layers and they have chocolate and lemon cream. Their brownies look sinful and we will get them next time. This is such a pleasant coffee shop. This a hands down my favorite cafe to get Caffeinated at in the area! My fiancé and I were traveling up to Redding for the weekend but needed a great working cafe to post up at to finish up meetings and some work before we can rejoice in the fun to be had. - The cafe has free WiFi (spotty at times but we had our personal hotspots to supplement when connection was weak). - The staff was super friendly and welcoming. We were there from 9 am - (closing time) 4pm and not once did they make us feel uncomfortable or that we're overstaying our welcome. - They have a communal library shelf of books for people to read, should they choose to unwinds to a novel. - We got a hot dirty chai latte which was delicious! Great price too! - For snacks we got a breakfast panini (your choice of either ham or bacon, opt for the ham) and the balsamic avocado toast. Both were super deliciousness and made with love. Affordable priced compare to San Francisco - Nice and quiet ambiance. Great for working! - We could clearly note that this was a local's favorite spot since there were a lot of regulars coming in for a cup of Joe. Overall, highly recommend!!! My friend and I were visiting Williams for the wildflowers, and we stopped in here for lunch and a quick drink. I ordered the Caprese panini that had tomatos and balsamic. I highly recommend it although it could have been a tad bit more salty. I also ordered an iced chai which was perfect! As a to-go treat, I got the salted caramel cookie. Mmmmmm! Best coffee in town! This coffee shop has a lot of variety on the menu. Tons of different flavors / add ins, pastries, muffins, sandwiches, etc. They offer free WiFi and their decor is just beautiful. On one of their hutches they have little toy soldiers with an invitation to take one as a reminder to pray for our military. I love that they are military and law enforcement friendly. Great little place. Looking for a Starbucks as I had work in the area and was waiting a few hours for my appt. I thought I would try Caffeinated and I was not disappointed. I had a red eye (coffee with a shot) and thoroughly enjoyed it. In addition, I had avocado toast and it was amazing. Highly recommend it. On their homemade bread. The staff was nice and conversant. It is important to support local business.....who needs a Starbucks? There is no need for a Starbucks in this town. I am sure it will happen sometime. Give it a try...you will not be disappointed. This place breaks my heart!!! You might ask yourself how I could give this place 5 stars but say that it breaks my heart. Well, the reason is because it falls so short of its potential. This place should be the center of social life in our lovely little town. It should be where people meet up to catch up or hang out or just soak up some local flavor of an historic small-town downtown district. But how can people ever do that when its closed most of the time? People come visiting or driving through Colusa and if it's anytime past noon the chances are that it's closed. Now I know they would say that maybe they've tried staying open longer but no one came. Well, maybe it was because no one knew that they were open longer. Opening longer has to come with advertising in local papers and sidewalk signage. It would sure make me happy if it became a place I could patronize without having to get up with the chickens in the morning! Colusa needs more places to grab a drink or place to grab a pastry or cookie or scone ... and not just in the morning. The world functions past 12 noon. read more

Super friendly service and accommodated our special requests... Half-Caf Americano with room for cream and a Raspberry Italian Cream Soda...not so sweet! She was not thrown at all. Started off next door at Rocco's and got the carrot cake from Caffeinated and was thoroughly impressed. One of the largest and most moist, delicious carrot cake I've ever had. Highly recommended. read more

This place is adorable and the pastries look great.....but the coffee? Oh hunny no. Literally the worst coffee I've ever tasted. A very cheap French roast I'm assuming, gross! It's burnt and bitter and I can't. Luckily I'm not a Colusean so I'm not reliant on this spot, which by the way is the only coffee place in town? If someone was enterprising enough to rig up a simple coffee cart with a drinkable roast, they could make a little cash. Good luck Colusa! read more

Best black coffee in Colusa! In such a small town it's rare to find such a good coffee spot. Thoroughly impressed.

New fave spot. The chai tea (hot or cold) is so damn good, but they have a large and varied drink menu. Also not to be missed are the pastries and treats. Amazing ham and cheese croissants are the best, but they also have breakfast sandwiches, cookies, cupcakes, and various breakfast pastries. I havent tried them for lunch (yet) but they have a case of fresh looking sandwiches and salads. I believe these are the same folks who own Rocco's, so you know the quality is on point. When I come here I always get the same thing, black iced coffee with a double shot, it's priced around Starbucks but the coffee is so much better. I'm usually in a hurry when I go by here but the atmosphere is very nice and I would enjoy stoping one morning to drink my coffee and eat delicious pastries here. read more

My favorite is the pistachio muffins. Moist and flavorful. I would appreciate more walnuts in the pistachio, but other than that... they're. The banana nut, blueberry and chocolate chip are just as great. read more
