    Matcha latte

Lovely paninis. My mocha was too sweet and the barista yesterday was so kind to happily make me a new one and teach me his frothy milk designs a top. The matcha gelato is amazing!

I usually go to west 4th to visit my hair stylist every 5-6 week. I would love to try new coffee shop nearby. Caffe W got giant W logo to attract me to get in. How you want the coffee - regular, espresso, filter, siphon coffee. They serve it. But, just too little pastry to select. Pop by for coffee.. they won't disappoint u

This latte is simply heart warming and delicious with a descent price, it comes with a little surprise, too. The owner is also a very friendly guy. The interior is quaint and special. I strongly recommend this cafe if you want to sit down and read a book or to just have some alone time.

Cute tea presentation. Angel falls is very sweet and fruity.

I stopped by for lunch the other day, but they also sell loaves of bread and some Italian groceries in addition to sandwiches and various pastries. I had their Veggie Mix Sandwich, Berry Coffee Cake, and an iced almond milk Latte. The sandwich was really good! The roll it was served on was very special, it had a slightly buttery and flaky crust almost like a croissant. There was a variety of veggies like peppers, broccoli, onions, and greens inside, plus cheese and I think a little mayo, and when heated up it all melded together delightfully. The only catch was that it took a while to heat up (which the worker who helped me warned me about), which was okay with me, but makes this place not ideal for a quick bite unless you want your sandwich cold. It takes so long because they use a proper oven, not a grill or microwave. The coffee cake was delicious also! Sometimes coffee cakes can be too dry and crumbly for my taste but this one was nice and moist (sorry), and had just enough structure. The mixed berries added a nice pop of flavour. The worker said she was going to heat this up for me too, but it was room temperature by the time I got to eating it which was honestly probably just as well. The latte wasn't bad but somehow felt a little heavy? This may have just had to due with it being not quite cold enough - by the time I finished it, it had gotten down to refreshingly cool, but this was when all the ice had melted. I think it could have used a bit more ice to start. Everything is priced fairly. The woman working was very sweet and helpful, and patient while I was making up my mind. They don't have seating indoor but have two small tables outside. The tables are tucked into a bit of an alcove so you don't feel like you're in the way of the sidewalk with people walking on top of you.

There are some small tables for two along with high tables. I ordered the 'hot' sandwich, chicken parm. I was expecting crispy chicken parm with yummy cheese and rich tomatoe sauce. Let's be honest, the star of this show is the bread! The baguette was warm, soft and so delicious. However, that's where the excitement stopped for me. The chicken with breading was soggy and the pesto and mozzarella was such a small amount, it felt like a soggy chicken sandwich with lots of bread. If they put more pesto dressing, more mozzarella cheese and more tomatoe sauce, I could have looked past the soggy chicken. All in all, I'm glad it tried it, the bread is amazing, and I'll come back to try a 'cold' sandwich to see if the other options are better!

The best part of the sandwich was the bread, they sourced it par baked from a bakery and finished it in store. it was amazing. For some reason (I expect cost) they stopped doing that and now get the bread from another of their locations. I would agree with some other reviews here, Mangia's is a bit expensive, but I and my friends were willing to pay for quality. The new bread they use is dry, tough and sub par, I tried to get used to it twice, but will not be going back. This review could have been one star but for the fact that the staff are amazing.

I had to go up to the counter before she was willing to sit me down. I ordered the sizzling plate during happy hour that came with the side of meat. She had her phone in one hand and took my order. I mentioned multiple times that I wanted pork and chicken with vermicelli. She even repeated it back without writing it down. She then yelled into the kitchen and went back talking on her phone. When my order came, it was beef and chicken. I called her over and told her that I ordered chicken and pork and not chicken and beef. The chicken was cooked so dry but what was worse was the noodle was not even cooked properly. I called her over the second and that was when she finally hung up her phone call. I told her the vermicelli was not even cooked properly and showed her a piece of the color and she tried to tell me that it is like that. I told her that I had it at other places and never had I ever had the vermicelli where pieces of it were hard (please see photo). She said she will make me another and I told her no need. The food was almost unedible. The service was aweful. This place is never busy. This made sense given how bad the food was.

We found this as our initial destination had an absurd wait, and we left satisfied and pleasantly surprised. I saw pics online of what appeared to be large, juicy, and crispy fried chicken sandwiches sporting local hot sauces as the secret ingredients, and that's what brought us in. We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich with the Hot Duck chili crisp on it. Upon the bartenders rec we opted for the extra hot, which was a good call because it didn't really pack a punch to us chili heads, but had great flavor. The chicken was juicy and crispy, and the brioche bun was so soft and fluffy. All around a good sandwich, but we found it strange that they only offered it with chips, and no upgrade to fries, which were available as an add on order. As we ate our sandwich and waffle fries we realized there was no smell of oil in the air or sounds of a fryer, which had us scratching our heads. We looked for a hood too and noticed none. Eventually we realized that everything here is commercially air fried, which was both fun to learn and somewhat surprising. If this place had a fryer, it would be SO much better, but considering this limitation, it was solid. The sauce selection was huge too. I loved that you could taste them all and that they offered some amazing deals too. We found a few that warranted us checking a bag on the way back so we could enjoy them on the other side of the border, and I'm stoked they offer online ordering and shipping so we can get some more when they run out. All in all a solid experience. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. As a hot sauce store, this is a 5 star experience, as a restaurant, also good but just have the right expectations.

I came in to check for a sauce my friend asked for but stayed for a bite! Did I mention that this place is cheap AF!? I don't know how they do it but it's incredibly affordable and the quality of food is impressive! I got their Veggies on Fire (Cheddar, lettuce, sprouts, tomato, cucumber, green pepper, pickles, red onion, banana peppers, Dijon, spicy mayo - Hot Sauce: Dawson's Shawarma). This was $8. Plus I added waffle fries, which I don't even care for. But these were heavily seasoned and cooked to perfection. The sandwiches come with chips but you can't miss the fries. You can choose which breads you want and I choose sourdough. Highly recommend that you toast that bread. The sandwich was huge and staked with so many veggies. The hot sauce was very mild but paired so well. The service was phenomenal! Above and beyond and so friendly. The place gets quite busy, understandable, and they are still so patient and friendly. I can't wait to try their extensive menu and order their veggie friendly menu options! And, obvy, their 1000 hot sauces!

The pistachio cream donut was filled with creamy sweet pistachio filling with pistachios and glazed with a shiny pistachio icing that made bells ring in my ears when I took a bite out of the pillowy soft dough. The apple fritter was HUGE and very filling with nice soft pieces of apple and a piece of cinnamon heaven in every single bite. The peach iced tea was nice and soothing when paired with the oolong and not sweet at all for those who are looking for something to balance out the sweetness from the desserts.
