When opening the bag, the beans did not smell fresh at all, but rather stale and it seemed like they had not been properly stored. Very disappointing!

It was a small shop, but still had good seating. I ordered a prickly pear espresso tonic and got a bag of beans as well. I had a great interaction with the barista and she recommended me some good beans to take home. The tonic itself was very refreshing, and I was happy to have it on one of the hottest days of the year up until then. Lovely vibes and the coffee is great. I think I want to come back to try their other espresso-based stuff to get a good gauge on how a flat white or cortado tastes. And naturally, the drip coffee is described as "damn fine coffee," in honor of Agent Cooper. The local family who owns the shop lives close enough to ride their bicycles there, and their goal was to preserve the neighborhood atmosphere where baristas know their regulars and people gather to chat over coffee. Having experienced the super-friendly staff firsthand, I'd say they're doing a damn fine job. Note: it's a walk-up coffee window with shaded outdoor seating, rather than a traditional indoor cafe.
