Service excellent and knowledgeable staff. Very friendly the inside is cute and clean. This was my first trip here and the drink I ordered was way too sweet I don't know why I ordered a pumpkin drink but I love chai so I go a pumpkin chai latte iced and it was undrinkable for me. If you like chai really sweet you'll love it. The cranberry orange scone was a bit too dry and I couldn't really taste the orange. I will definitely try this place again because of the people, service and ambiance but I will definitely pick a different drink and food. read more

This coffee shop is so cute and quaint! The music has a soft and warm vibe. The space is small but I've not had a problem finding seating when I come. The service is great! Smiling and happy people behind the counter. The food is tasty! I love the chorizo and eggs. Plus I love their regular black coffee. Doesn't need anything. I'm here the second time today. The first time me and my bestie went, and the food was incredible. Tastes so clean and fresh. Jesus was are server and he lived up to his name, his service was heavenly. Giuseppe also helped us out and he was so kind as well, perfect service, amazing food. Today, the second time, I was helped by junior and one other gentleman. They are also wonderful. Please support this place. This place never smells like coffee. Not a real coffee shop. They have kitchen staff who dont speak English taking orders and making drinks. Rude people overall. Ended up just walking out and going to a real coffee shop. Not worth the price. read more

This place is a hidden gem. There were lots of goodies in this little corner here. I like that they serve full meals here. My chicken panini was so good with avocado, chicken and sun dried tomatoes. My friend gobbled up her bacon and eggs sandwich. The atmosphere is pretty nice. It's a little small but cozy looking. The service was good. I thought it's odd that they charged you half and half separately. My coffee was $2.90 and 75 cents for my half and half. My friend really liked her horchata coffee. Small coffee shop with limited indoor and outdoor seating. I was impressed with the sugar free syrup selection, including coconut, white chocolate, hazelnut, vanilla, and caramel. I got a Decaf SF oat latte. It was an average price, but the latte presentation was phenomenal (dine-in). Somehow, it also stayed extra hot for an unusually long time, which I love. Friendly service. Service: Staff here is so very kind and helpful. They are always smiling and look like they enjoy themselves, making it such a welcoming environment. Drinks: The espresso that they use in their drinks tastes smooth and energizes me all day. I don't get a crash. My favorite so far is the Horchata Frappe, and I can't wait to try their new Taro flavor. Food: They have different unique dishes that they change up often. One time, they had carrot soup, which sounded very interesting. Tried it and it was so delicious, especially with the toasted fresh bread on the side. Today, we had the chorizo and potatoes breakfast sandwich. I hope they make this a permanent on their menu because it was the best! Bathroom: So clean! The staff takes so much pride that it shows in their restroom as well. Parking: Easy, lots of shopping center parking available. Decor: Very cozy decor, amazingly cute details, and this they also change up so we look forward to seeing what's new every time. Pet friendly: I feel like the government has maybe asked them to be more "code" because they have always been so pet-loving and only recently have "service dogs only" signs. It's cute and trendy and NEW! Needed a breakfast sandwich and got two with all their choices, it was difficult to choose. It's small but nice and modern. Great location for us menifee residence, and I loved it. Reasonable price I got a ham and cheese sandwhich and a Bella panini (don't judge my spelling!) and a coconut latte. Disappointed. Asked for a small latte, it was terrible too hot and too sweet when I asked it not to be sweet and the taste was not good.

My boyfriend and I are regulars here and we love it at Caffe Mercato. One thing we noticed though is that the strawberry toast has declined in quality and is very inconsistent every time we come in. Which sucks because it's our favorite item! Just went today and it was drenched in honey which made it too sweet as well as messy, sticky, and hard to eat. We always get the matcha latte and vintage turkey panini and those never fail us! Just hoping some change in the strawberry toast because it used to be so good i'm not sure what happened! The strawberries used to be cut thinner with a thinner layer of honey under them with a nicely warmed up toast but now it's not warm, the strawberries are thickly cut, and too much honey. Hopefully the next time I come in, this has changed. Regardless, we love it at Caffe Mercato and are so happy it came to Menifee! read more

We come here almost everyday for the past 6 months it seems. Truly the best place and the nicest owners. We always get the turkey panini and it will change your life seriously. The bread is baked fresh daily. The cinnamon latte and horchata and cafe bombom are highly recommended by me as well. read more

I really wanted to love this place, but my expectations fell short. We came in, no one else was in line, maybe a couple people sitting and waiting for their orders. Had difficulty ordering as I guess there is a slight accent barrier? Tried to order an iced coconut latte, it was inputted as an iced coconut mocha latte, which I caught on the screen and told the cashier my correction and he updated it. Then he asked what kind of milk, I said coconut milk 3x while he kept repeating back different types of milk. Then he finally got it and I was super shocked that on top of a $6 small iced coffee, I was charged an additional $1.25 for subbing coconut milk. Starbucks doesn't even do that anymore so it feels like I am being penalized for being lactose intolerant. We sat there for 20 minutes for two small iced coffees, then I was brought out a mocha anyway. I had to wait longer for a corrected drink. Sorry if you're going to charge me $8 for a small coffee, I want it as I ordered and paid for. I would come back to give them a second chance as they had a lot of yummy goodies in their display cases and also have an extensive food menu as well. Saw all the positive reviews about the iced horchata latte and decided to give it a try. I don't taste the horchata at all. It tastes like a very sweet iced coffee. Also an up charge to change whole milk to oat milk. So total for 16oz was $8 which I think is kind of pricey but they're a local business and they do have a pretty good selection of both food and drinks. I came here during its soft opening and really didn't go back in till recently. I am so sorry I haven't! The food is fresh and delicious! The first time my boyfriend and I tried their egg sandwich and a mango cheese danish. The sandwich was so tasty but the danish was out of this world. My boyfriend actually didn't want any to begin with but ended up eating almost the whole thing. The second time I went, I got their omelette. Very good as well. The moment I walked I was immediately greeted . The cashier was very friendly and answered any questions and concern I had .
