Breakfast wrap

Super cute little cafe with an outdoor patio. Dropped by with my girls and grabbed coffee and sandwiches. I got the breakfast wrap with chorizo and the chocolate oaxaqueno coffee and they were immensely satisfying! Service was also quick and friendly. Def recommend!

Guava danish

Unsuspecting charm. It's a beautiful place with a nice little patio and lobby. The coffee and Danish are serious here, with small plate entrees and hand helds make for a great size menu. Service is adiquite with 4 employees and nary the frenzy of a national coffee brand down the road. On that note there is no drive through but its worth the stop especially if you can sit and linger a while.

I had this place on my to do list for a while now and I finally decided to stop in with a friend for coffee and lunch. It's not a big place but it was busy! The line went by quickly and I saw so many people eating food that looked really good. It was hard to make a choice but I decided on the vintage turkey panini with tomato soup, while my friend ordered the avocado toast. It was a nice day so we sat outside on one of the few tables. It feels cozy sitting outside. They brought our food to our table and checked up on us a few times. The food was really good and my friend liked her coffee as well (she is a purist and got black coffee. Overall great experience and will be back.

Great little morning place to start the day or meet someone. Some indoor and outdoor seating. Nice staff.

Pumpkin Chai Latte

I've been telling my best friend, who just moved to the area, that we HAD to try this place. I was especially excited for the pumpkin chai latte, but unfortunately it was a huge disappointment. It was extremely sweet--to the point that I couldn't drink it. The employee helping us also didn't seem very familiar with the menu. I'm not sure if he was new, but he had trouble finding several items in the system to ring us up and wasn't able to answer some of the questions we had about the menu. We also let him know that the pumpkin chai was way too sweet and asked if it could be adjusted or remade. We were told that we would have to purchase another drink if we wanted any changes. That was probably the most disappointing part, especially considering the original drink was essentially undrinkable. I really wanted to love this place and was excited to introduce my friend to it, but between the drink and how our concern was handled, the overall experience was disappointing. Hopefully this was just an off day because I had really been hyping this place up to her!

I really enjoy the atmosphere at Caffe Mercato!! it's cozy, charming, and has a nice vibe that makes it a great spot to grab a bite. The food is delicious; I had the turkey panini and it was flavorful and perfectly toasted. Definitely a solid choice if you're in the mood for a good sandwich or cafe meal. One thing to keep in mind is that indoor seating is pretty limited, so it can feel a little cramped when it's busy. If you want to sit and enjoy your meal inside, you might need to come early or be prepared to wait. Parking can be a little tricky too. There's some parking right in front, but it fills up quickly. The lot next to Ross is the best bet if you're driving. Overall, I'd definitely recommend Cafe Mercato for the food and atmosphere, just plan ahead for seating and parking!

You know the food is good when you didn't stop to take a photo of it for a Yelp review. This spot had some of the best, unique selections for brunch. You want 'breakfast' food? Done. You want pasta for brunch?? Done. We ordered the strawberry toast which was sooo perfect - The bread was warm and perfectly baked and the strawberries were fresh. I'm not a big sweet tooth, so I got the vodka penne pasta which was delicious and served with warm, fresh sourdough. The service was super friendly and quick!! It's a smaller restaurant but they have limited outdoor seating as well. Honestly sad I'm never in Menifee because this spot would quickly become a regular for me!

Always love to stop at a coffee shop out of town. Friendly staff welcomes you in. Ordered what caught my attention. The one that had an outside sign that says toasted marshmallows latte! It was pretty chilly. . Had to get a pastry that looked different... it didn't pair well with my hot latte. Love lemon pastries but this was a little too much lemony taste.

Great place to grab breakfast and sit on the patio. Get a coffee too! The patio accepts dogs.

Guava cheese danish & iced horchata latte

This is such a cute hidden gem coffee shop! So glad this is a great addition to the city of Menifee! Sooo much better than going to a chain coffee shop especially the one on every corner with a green mermaid!!! I had their horchata for iced latte and their guava cheese danish and they were both delicious! They have a cute little set up outside surrounded with pretty flowers and plants. Great place to enjoy your morning coffee on a date with my hubby and also looking forward to coming back with my daughters and friends! The young man that took our order was very friendly and pleasant! Great service! Just wish they stayed open later, other than that loved it!

Located in the 'Menifee Town Center' right off the 215 FWY, on Antelope and Newport Roads near Ralph's with plenty of parking. Besides specialty coffee and tea, they serve lemonade, freshly baked pastries, salads, panini sandwiches, and breakfast all day. First visit and I'm obsessed! I tried "La Chata" over ice, which is coffee with milk, horchata, and matcha. My cousin recommended this drink and I'm glad she did. It tasted perfect! I also tried their "Tres Leches" and "Blueberry Poppy Seed Slice", both so delicious. Prices are reasonable. Service was amazing. Shout out to 'Fabian', he was welcoming, friendly, and extremely helpful with the menu. The Café is clean and organized with a cozy atmosphere and patio seating. Overall, I had a great experience here and will definitely return to try other treats.

Mazapán

After a year of visiting Cafe Mercato, I'm so happy to see how popular it's become. I've now tried most of the well-known cafés in the area, and this one is still in my top favorites. I've even featured them on my TikTok because their coffee is often perfectly brewed. It's one of my go-to spots when friends visit--I always bring them here for coffee and food because it's such a cozy and delicious place to relax. My personal favorites are the Mazapán Frappé, the horchata, and the iced chocolate Oaxaqueño. They're all so good and feel unique compared to typical café drinks. I'll be honest--occasionally the coffee frappés can be a little inconsistent (sometimes more ice means a slightly watered-down flavor), but this doesn't happen often, and I definitely have my favorite barista who always gets it just right. As for the food, I've tried quite a few items and the Bella Panini with the tomato soup is AMAZING. Seriously--the tomato soup is fire. I used to be someone who didn't like tomato soup at all, but theirs completely changed my mind. It's not overly creamy and it's seasoned in a way that makes it less acidic and really flavorful. (Edit : Tomato soup had no flavor today April 20th hopefully just a hiccup ) Their pastries are also very good! The danishes are buttery and soft and always taste fresh. Honestly, if you're still going to Starbucks or Coffee Bean instead of trying Cafe Mercato, you're missing out. The only thing I'd love to see added is a rewards system and possibly an online drive-up ordering option--I think they'd benefit a lot from both.

Mommy + Son Date

How did I NOT know this place existed?! I've been on a mission to avoid the "coffee with a side of drive-thru chaos" from big chain spots, and somehow this hidden gem was right here the whole time. (I'm new in the area) Had a little mom + son coffee date at Cafe Mercato and honestly... 10/10 experience. I got a coffee so big it looked like it came with a gym membership, and my son was living his best life with the perfect hot chocolate. Everybody won. The vibe in this place is SO cute and unique, so cozy, artsy, and full of personality. Every table and decoration felt like it had a story. It's the kind of spot where you walk in planning to stay 15 minutes and suddenly it's been an hour and you're emotionally attached to the coffee mug. Absolutely love this little spot and will definitely be a regular. Must try!

This cafe seems to be clean but to pricey for pasteries that are pan dolce nd a little dry, considering they just made it same-day.

Food: 5 Service: 5…read moreAmbiance: 5 Hidden gem alert! Tucked into an unassuming strip mall, you would never guess such a sexy, sophisticated spot is sitting right in the middle of it all. From the moment we walked into Fugghedabout, we were stunned. The space is dark, sultry, lightly dimmed, and incredibly chic, something you'd never expect here. It has a very grown up, intimate vibe (21+ only), perfect for date night or a night out with friends. We were lucky enough to visit on a night with live music (they have it Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays), and it completely set the mood. Even though it wasn't very busy, the energy was wonderful and the music was excellent. Service was top notch. Meghan was fantastic, friendly, attentive, accommodating, and so helpful throughout the meal. Faith, the owner, also stopped by several times to check on us, which earned major points. Such a sweet touch and much appreciated. Now the food... wow. We started with the seared scallop special topped with caviar, and it was outstanding, perfectly cooked, with the caviar adding just the right touch of saltiness. Honestly, we wanted to order more. The hot goat cheese with hot honey appetizer was delicious and so comforting. Definitely get extra bread, you'll want it. Since it was Taco Tuesday, we tried the taco trio with chicken, steak, and shrimp. The steak and shrimp were standouts. The chicken was slightly dry, but overall we really enjoyed them. And the biggest surprise of the night was the shrimp and sausage skillet. Absolutely incredible. So flavorful and rich, and again we needed more bread to soak up every bit of that delicious sauce. We also ordered the crème brûlée for dessert, which was good. The sugar topping was slightly thick, and I'll admit I'm a bit of a dessert snob, so while we enjoyed it, the meal itself was really the shining star of the night. I'm already dreaming about my next visit. I was genuinely impressed by everything, service, ambiance, food, and live music. This place is a whole vibe. Five stars all the way. Highly recommend for anyone looking for amazing food in a sultry, intimate setting. I've already recommended it to several friends. Thank you Meghan and Faith for such a great night. We'll definitely be back!

But then, if you disagree, like "A Lincoln is better than a Cadillac? Forget about it!" You know? But then, it's also like if something's the greatest thing in the world, like, "Minghia! Sometimes it just means "Forget about it."" Unfortunately, for now, I will have to forget about eating here. Love the concept, love the attempt; but the red wine is served at room temperature and while it has interesting selections nothing we drank was more then basic and serviceable. The food again was trying something different, different than what this area normally does but it fell short of the mark. Not enough seasoning or originality. Did love the sliders though. Service was competent at the bar, the young man was nice but not too knowledgeable about the wines. Again, wish the selection had more premium choices and the reds served at a proper temp. $25 corkage fee. The interior looks gorgeous. You cannot tell you are next to the freeway. For now, this is a pass. We will try some of the wine bars in Temecula next. Your mileage may vary though of course...forget about it ;-)
