We had to get our coffee/tea fix before the Farmers Market on Sunday. The line is always out the door, but moves fast. The Luxxe Summer collection is avaliable. The Coco Coast Latte is smooth and delicious and worth reordering. I was happy to see more herbal flavored ice teas avaliable. However, i was totally disappointed with the Ginger Mint Tea. It was so watered down and had no hint of Mint whatsoever. The Hibiscus Tea is your better bet.
I've been here couple more times before. Time for an update. It was a good coffee, prices are OK. There is plenty of seating inside and outside. Service was good. Overall I recommend it. There is free parking for 90 minutes. Restrooms are outside in the mall. There is also free Internet, which is provided by the mall.
Luxxe, pookie bear hello, I stopped by and was craving a ~chai latte~ and I was not disappointed. Iced chai with vanilla syrup. Deeeeeeeeeeelicious. I think I would've been okay with only 1 pump instead of 2. 2 pumps was a WEEEEE bit too sweet for me. I avoid everything sweet like desserts but my drinks is the only time I'll accept a little syrup or something. They have a small cute case of some baked goods. I have yet to try them. Service was nice, the baristas were very friendly and multi tasked between making the drinks and ringing us up. They do have their own restroom and I guess they're pet friendly because I almost tripped over some lady's little dog. They're located on the side of the 2nd&pch plaza and parking is right out in front. But it's Long Beach so good luck finding an open spot.
Definitely our family favorite Coffee Shop! When you walk in, great aroma if freshly brewed coffee! Small chain and their drinks and pastries are fresh and tasty! They also sell their beans thatvI highly recommend! Service is very friendly and the staff definitely knows how to make hot and cold drinks! Today I enjoyed a hot Chai Tea Latte, my usual! They make it just how our like it. It's definitely my favorite locally! It was a. Old and rainy day today and hit the spot!
Visiting here for the second time now. I wanted to grab coffee before my lunch plans and shop around the stores. Parking: There's a parking structure with free 90 minute parking. There's free street parking, but it's difficult to find. There's also a free parking lot across the street. Finding a spot in the lot can be a hit or miss. Ambiance/Environment: They're located along side PCH. They have a medium sized space with limited amount of indoor seating and a good amount of outdoor seating. It's pretty clean inside. I sat outside because the views of the weather and boats were nice. It wasn't too busy, but there were consistent customers coming in. There's no clear direction of where the line starts, so people just started lining up however. Service: The baristas are always courteous and welcoming. They're very knowledgable about the menu. They'll ask if you have any questions about the menu. I asked them if they still do latte art, and luckily one of the baristas that was working knows how to do latte art. Throughput is also quick; it took about 5 min after ordering. Drinks: I ordered a large hot Dolcezza from their seasonal menu. It's a pumpkin puree spiced latte. A hot large latte is 12 oz. I asked for a ceramic mug since I wanted to sit outside for a while. The latte art was so cute. The drink itself tasted exactly as described. The pumpkin flavor was strong and paired well with the espresso. Pricing: It cost $7.50 for a seasonal, large hot latte. I noticed prices are a bit more than average. Considering where it's located, I'm not too surprised. Although I enjoyed my drink, I'd visit once in a while when I'm in the area.
Caffe Luxxe is one of my favorite Artisanal Coffee Shops serving quality artisanal coffee made out of locally roasted beans. They have a delicious Mocha, some great Herbal teas including loose leaf teas and other great hand crafted blends. Today i had the Hibiscus herbal tea with some honey. It was really delicious. They are located at the 2nd and PCH shopping center in Long Beach. The interior is modern, spacious, but yet warm and inviting. The lighting is comfortable on the eye and there is usually a soft adult alternative music playing in the background. The walls have some cool vintage and modern European art pieces. They have a large patio with lots of seating and facing the Alamitos Marina. The service is excellent and always friendly. Prices are average. I highly recommend Caffe Luxxe
Caffe Luxxe is one of the earliest coffee shops in LA that focuses on hand crafted artisanal espresso and brewed coffee (opened in 2005) with the flagship store in Santa Monica. This is one of eight Caffe Luxxe locations across SoCal. [Parking]: Cafe is a part of the 2ND & PCH Shopping Center so plenty of free parking spots available on E Marina Dr as long as customers come early before 10 AM. I was still able to find couple free parking spots even on a busy Sunday for the weekly farmers market across the street. The first 90 minutes = free at the designated 2ND & PCH parking structure. [Atmosphere & amenities]: Dog friendly outdoor patio area. Restroom is located directly across from the entrance of the coffee shop. Expect a waiting line forms after 11 AM on weekends. [Menu]: The signature drink is Cafe Nico. They offer several single origin coffee options for brewed coffee and Caffe Latte is another popular option. *** Cafe Nico (espresso, candied orange, cinnamon, half & half - 8 oz hot $6.25): Solid drink with right amount of sweetness. Chicken pesto sandwich ($8.95): Decent sandwich got the job done. *** Overall this is a good spot for a casual date or hanging out with friends as (1) the coffee shop is located right next to the marina (good vibe), (2) the shop is a part of the 2ND & PCH Shopping Center + next to Whole Foods (good for window shopping), and (3) convenient parking.
For being the only coffee shop at 2nd and PCH, an upscale shopping center literally by the Marina, I didn't expect to feel deceived when I stopped by on a Saturday early afternoon. I don't visit the area often, but I've known about Caffe Luxxe for a while. With coffee shops in the LBC being a dime a dozen, this one at first glance seemed to boast a pretty upbeat, family-friendly atmosphere with a nice view of Alamitos Bay. I assume the word "luxxe" is related to the word "luxury", so that must explain the relatively high price tags on their drinks, especially for their cup sizes. I had planned a day trip to this part of town, but didn't pack any water. I was starting to feel a little drowsy and thirsty that this would be the perfect time to order a coffee drink from Caffe Luxxe, which is located on the Marina side of 2nd and PCH. As soon as I entered, I saw the numerous coffee bags by the front counter as well as shelves of merch by the wall. There were a few customers in line, but the line went by quickly that before I knew it, it was now my turn to order. The left side of the menu caught my eye because it was their seasonal summer menu. The orange box in the middle showcased their limited edition coffee drinks: Coco Di Luxxe, The Honey Buzz, and Summertime Chill Iced Coffee. The first two only had one price, and I couldn't tell if it was a Small or Large. After asking one of the baristas, she told me both were the Small size, and they were $1 more than a Large Summertime Chill Iced Coffee. I asked to see the difference between a Small and a Large, and she showed the cup sizes to the right of the register. The Large was $1 more than the Small, but it looked like it was worth the upcharge with how much larger the Large was, so that's what I went with: Summertime Chill Iced Coffee, which the menu says, "Refreshing, light body, cocoa, summer rainier cherry, sangria, grapefruit, smooth finish". She asked if I'd like for her to leave room for some cream and sugar. I said just a little bit for the cream. Her male co-worker, who was pretty friendly, finished ringing me up at the register. Literally a minute later, I saw another barista, who appeared to be disgruntled, quickly pour some iced coffee into a cup and simply said, "iced coffee" when he was done. I didn't think it was mine because he didn't say, "Summertime chill", so I thought it was someone else's. However, the first barista who assisted me did say it was mine, saying it was just an "iced coffee" almost as if to gaslight me. Suddenly, the screeching brakes sound effect played in my mind. Wait, did I just get deceived by this seasonal special, thinking it'd taste like summer when it was just any ordinary iced coffee I could get from somewhere else, like Dunkin' or Krispy Kreme? The cup did not have a lid when I picked it up; I had to go to the counter on the opposite end of the shop to get a lid for my iced coffee. I appreciated how it was nice and cold, but after one sip, I definitely felt like it was a gyp (rhyme intended). Either that, or there was miscommunication with the team of baristas preparing customers' orders that I actually picked up someone else's drink, and someone else picked up my drink instead. The latter I'm ruling as a good possibility because the disgruntled barista who poured the iced coffee into my cup came into the scene after I had paid for my order; I thought the female barista I initially spoke to would have prepared my drink because she had asked if I wanted to leave room for cream/sugar. This does not add up... The iced coffee I got was pretty much any ordinary iced coffee that I could get from, shall I say it again? Dunkin' and Krispy Kreme. The flavor did seem bolder with the cream they added, but there was quite a lot of ice in my cup, which was 16 oz, so there really wasn't that much room for the actual iced coffee. I was able to finish my drink before I reached my next destination. The tables, both inside and outside, were occupied for the most part, but it does seem like a good place to get some studying/work done. And did I mention the view of Alamitos Bay? Too bad the coffee shop is on the ground level as opposed to the second level, so the view of the bay isn't as good compared to Ola Mexican Kitchen. I didn't check the price of an iced coffee, but I do feel like I overpaid for something I didn't actually get. I didn't taste any cherry or grapefruit in my drink, and there weren't any notes of summer flavor in my drink at all! So why was it even a summertime iced coffee? More like bummertime iced coffee if you know what I mean. I'm glad I stopped by Caffe Luxxe, but I highly doubt I'll make a return visit. They do have an app called Luxxista Rewards, as alluded to on the bottom of the summertime menu, so if you're a regular or at least a coffee aficionado who lives nearby, it might be worth looking into. For me, I'm not even going to bother, especially since I'm not even that close to Caffe Luxxe.
Excellent coffee and pastries. Great vibes. Forgot the name of my latte but really enjoyed it. Very balanced on sweetness naturally the way it comes. Had the lemon poppyseed and blueberry muffins both amazing. Location is perfect and I usually select this place when meeting folks halfway between OC and LA.
Got slightly confused looking for this place, the cafe is on the first floor facing the outside of the plaza. There's also a tunnel from inside in the center of the plaza where you can walk out and see it. It's a nice cafe, you can take advantage of the plaza WiFi which is fast and reliable. Makes it a good study place on the outside. The inside is a bit too cold for my tastes, I would recommend a jacket if you're planning to stay a while inside. The outdoor seating is great. Also note they close on the earlier side. There are outlets but I didn't get a chance to try them I got the oat matcha latte, it was not bad. I'd rank it in the middle for matcha lattes I've tried before.

I LOVE this spot and it's my personal go-to for my coffee fix when I'm around the Alamitos Bay Area and at the 2nd & PCH Plaza. I LOVE their Chai Latte. Great taste with a perfectly subtle touch of spice. The Matcha is also stellar! The baristas are super friendly and the patio area is a nice relaxing and inviting space to enjoy the day or complete some work. read more
Lunch left us full, too full for dessert, but we still needed something. Caffè Luxxe in Long Beach is our go-to whenever we're in the area, and once again, it hit the spot. What I love about this place is that the baristas aren't over-the-top about coffee. You know the kind where espresso starts to feel like a cult. Here, it's just skillfully made, with just the right touch of expertise. No fuss, no attitude. My wife had an extra hot Americano, and I went with a café latte. The micro-foam was thick and velvety, and the espresso had this natural sweetness with a hint of nuttiness. I'm not really into trendy coffee, but every now and then, having a great shot like this reminds me why people chase the perfect cup. I sat out on the patio facing the street. The view is something else. People strolling, traffic moving slow, yachts in the distance. There's something incredibly peaceful about sipping a great coffee while the world drifts by. For a moment, it feels like all the stress disappears. Come experience it for yourself. You might find yourself wanting to come back every day too. read more

I visited on a Thursday morning and wasn't too crowded. The café is super cute with a lovely view of the marina, which definitely adds to the charm. Food/drink: I ordered a chocolate croissant and their Nico latte. The latte was a flavorful and smooth (the mark of a well pulled espresso shot). The cinnamon flavor came through nicely, though the orange was more of a whisper than a standout. Work space: the café itself doesn't have its own wifi. It runs off the shopping plaza's network (2nd & PCH), and since the café is near the edge of the complex, the connection is extremely spotty. This is actually the second time I've run into this issue at Caffe Luxxe. It's not the end of the world: I ended up unplugging and reading a book instead, which was honestly a whole vibe, but I had planned to do originally do work and take a virtual meeting. So if you're planning to work or take meetings, this probably isn't the best spot. All in all, a scenic place to have coffee and unplug, but not ideal for remote work. read more
I've been to this Caffe Luxxe location a few times and have always been happy. The staff is super nice and very helpful. My drink is always made so quick. For instance, the last time I came here I ordered and the other girl in the back had already made it before I had paid. Amazing. They are known for sourcing and making their own roast of coffees. And its all done locally. However, I just stick with their matcha which is pretty good here. I love the vibe here. They have plenty of tables and chairs and free WiFi to work. They even have a nice outdoor seating area as well. It's definitely a good coffee spot to check out. read more
Let's just start by saying...it's not cheap! Cold brew and a soy hazelnut latte came out to $30. A bar of chocolate cost $15 or $1.25 for a tiny sliver tasting. Cold brew was great with a chocolaty taste and the latte was delicious. Very cute shop and very nice service. read more

Came in to grab coffee before my appointment with my chiropractor and I was welcomed with some bubbly faces from the morning crew. They recommended one of their signature drinks the Cafe Nico which would usually scare me, but it's subtle and not overpowering which I enjoy. read more
Let me tell you this place has the best pastries I've ever had. We're not sure where they sourced them, but the food is delicious. I came for the pour over because I heard this was the best place in Long Beach to get them. I would have to agree, not only are the prices reasonable, but the quality is amazing and the beans, freshly roasted and ground. The barista's were very busy, but they took their time making some of the best coffee I've ever had. It was nice to be able to relax and just enjoy the ambience and small talk with my group. #125 in my Coffeeshop Chronicles. I met some friends here for a weekend coffee date. It's a cute area for sure, but I have little interest in returning, not when there are more excellent coffeeshops nearby, with better service no less. I ordered the Caffe Nico, a latte with candied orange, half and half, and cinnamon. Sounds interesting right? Unfortunately, the drink they handed me was utterly disappointing, and was basically a flavorless steamed milk with a hint of espresso. I usually hate adding sugar packets to what are supposed to be already-flavored lattes, but my drink desperately needed it. I returned to the counter to ask a question about my drink, and let's just say service could have been friendlier. Honestly, the only positive I can think of was the pastry - unlike the coffee, the guava cream cheese pastry was pretty good, the only thing that was. ****************** My Ratings: 1 Star: Terrible; just thinking about it makes me angry. 2 Stars: Wasn't a fan so Not likely to return. 3 Stars: Meh. Average. Might return if others drag me. 4 Stars: Yum! Likely to return. 5 Stars: Amazing! Would plan my day around it. read more
This cafe is located on the 1st floor of 2nd & PCH. They are the outside by the marina. They have 2 hr parking and 90 mins parking free in the garage. They have indoor and outdoor seating, but their only outlets inside. They use the 2nd & PCH wifi so it is slower. They do have their own bathroom. The cafe aesthetic is modern. I notice many people come here for work meetings. The menu is minimalistic and not very many options. I wish they had more coffee drinks. I got the caffe Nico which suppose to have a hint of orange but I didn't taste at all and this coffee was more bitter and over roasted. However, the latte art is cute. It's interesting how you tell the barista first your order then the cashier. The co-owner was super informative explaining the coffee. I think the staff could be bit more friendlier and nicer as they just exist to do their job and don't really make conversation with their customer. The attitude just came off snobbish. I would only come back to this cafe if I was shopping in 2nd & PCH. read more
Coffee is excellent! I also buy their Montenegro beans for my coffee machine at home but it doesn't come out as good as the ones their baristas make. ALL of the baristas are nice, and they all make excellent cafe latte and cappuccino. Pastries are delicious too. Our favorite is the almond chocolate croissant. And their membership gives a lot of freebies! read more

Came here on a Saturday morning. It was really quick service and the inside is clean. The baristas seemed nice. Got the iced chai with oat milk and the oat matcha. The oat matcha was decent. I've had better and worse. Really nothing stood out. The iced chai was not great. The chai was very weak- did not taste of freshly brewed tea. While it didn't taste bad, I would not recommend it. I don't drink coffee, so I can't speak on it but their tea options are scarce and not great. I'm guessing this place is better for coffee drinkers since it had a lot of patrons. read more

Yeah Long Beach is great, this mall is so cute, but what good is all of that if you don't even grab a coffee to start it off? Caffe Luxxe is your place for a quick coffee run before you go galavanting into the cute vibes and outdoor mall right outside. The flavors are decent, caffeine is sufficient, and the decor is modern. What more can you ask for in a coffee shop? And what more can I add to a simple review like this? read more

After trying a new gym spot, I wanted a quick coffee and snack. I stumbled upon Caffe Luxxe. I was instantly greeted as I walked to the pastry case. I asked for some recommendations and opted with the Caffe Nico latte and a feta, olive, zaatar croissant. The latte was so good! I love that the flavors are different than most places I've been. The candied orange and cinnamon are perfect without being overwhelmingly sweet. The croissant was also unique! I loved the olive and croissant mix. I would've never thought to put these flavors together but it works magically! I sat for a while and enjoyed some quiet time. There is a good amount of seating either indoor or outdoor. First time at this location, usually frequent Manhattan Beach and the pacific palisades one. Large space inside, by the windows, and outside seating with heaters available. 90 min free parking. Hard to miss with their signature yellow umbrellas/awning. Decaf is great. Not bitter or acidic. We've gotten their very minty mocha thrice now! read more

Great choice for a group of us to catch up. There were about 9 of us for a table to sit with coffee and fresh baked goodies to enjoy. I ordered a cup of Cafe Nico which was a perfect blend with the almond crescent. Parking was easy, lots of it across if you can't find a spot on the street front. Came here to grab a cup of coffee and water after rollerskating (right next door). I ordered a hot caramello and asked for a cup of water. The line was short when we arrived so we got our drinks fairly quickly. After we got our drinks, a big rush of people came in and formed a long line so our timing was impeccable. We sat outside in their patio area. It was a warm, sunny day so it was perfect for sitting outside! There wasn't a lot of foot traffic past our table so it was a great place to chat and drink coffee! I really enjoyed the coffee as well as the location. Definitely will be revisiting! read more
Honestly if it wasn't for the Yelp experience in the past I wouldn't keep coming back to Caffe Luxxe when I'm in this area! So I need to thank the Yelp team for introducing me to this hopping place with great indoor and outdoor seating....GREAT STAFF! Especially GREAT coffee...... Place is clean and laid out very well enough space for the crowd to wait... I'm not sure why I never wrote a review though after all the times I've been here.... Coming back again soon! read more

I was here several months back as I was in the area visiting my dear friend. I thought I drop by Caffe Luxxe to pick up some caffe. I'm actually not much of a coffee drinker, but I do like a mean frape or latte. Caffe Nico with no rocks was my choice for the day. I really like this drink... it's very smooth, has a sweeter taste than what I've tried in the past, and the cinnamon flavor is fantastic... just comes through very nicely! Staff was very friendly and pleasant. Service was quick. Quality is sublime. Prices are very reasonable... about $5 - $6 per drink. Ambiance is very bright and inviting. Love the open space. It has indoor seating as well as outside patio seating. It's right across the street from the Long Beach harbor. Great place to hang out with family and friends and enjoy a cup of caffe delight! Caffe Luxxe became one of our favorite locations because of their authenticity to the coffee taste in their drinks. Located in PCH and 2nd St, this coffee shop is a must try for those who enjoy that bitterness in their drinks. The place has a variety of options...a ton of them! But we have a specific go to drink: the Shakerato! There only option is iced and it's made up of espresso, milk (oat for us), and dark chocolate. It's hand shaken and you have the option to add a cream foam top. It's definitely not a sweet drink, it has that richness and bitterness of dark chocolate and coffee, and softened with a smooth oat from the milk. It's like drinking elevated chocolate milk with caffeine! The barista also recommended Caffee Nico, which we are going to try when we return. They also provide pastries and have their own brand of coffee if you enjoy their taste! The setting of this shop is very modern and it's by the Marina, making it visually appealing. We highly recommend this place for the coffee lovers or those looking to get into coffee! read more

Stopped in yesterday before grabbing lunch elsewhere. I ordered an iced vanilla cappuccino and my husband ordered a mocha. We were both very pleased with our orders. We are visiting from out of town and my parents have a Starbucks next to them and I was dying to have something that wasn't all sugar and containing zero coffee. This place hit the spot! My cappuccino was perfect. The staff/barista knew what they were doing. There's lots of space, I like the decor, and gift items you can purchase. Moreover they are quick, very nice and didn't cringe when they saw us walk in with two toddlers. :) read more

Great spot. High quality drinks and bakery items. Their variety of drip coffee is awesome, as well as their speciality drinks Iike the nico. Ambiance is pretty great. You're right next to the harbor and there's plenty of seating inside and outside of the caffe. There's also free 2hour parking or there's parking lots. The lots offer feee parking for 90mins but you have to pay after that. The baristas are always really nice, knowledgeable and personable. The line can get long but it's worth waiting if you want a latte that isn't overly sugary or a high quality, locally toasted coffee read more
Very organized service, they have reusable plates and cups if you are staying in. Wooden utensils for eating. Nice variety of loose leaf teas. And the decorative touch on your latte. All the things Starbucks doesn't have. Very loud inside though if you're sensitive to that it's like a concrete echo chamber. Outside is lovely. The veggie quiche is all broccoli but good, could use some salt and pepper or hot sauce on it. Don't try to eat any of the pastries in your car it's crumb city so flaky and delicious though messy. read more
