Fragrant rose by parking lot (5/20/23)
Marie B.

I enjoyed my first onsite visit (5/20/23). I had visited a nearby pastry shop and was headed to another pop up & lunch further down Bothell Way/Bothell-Everett Highway. I ended up with a perfectly shaded spot with the heady scent of nearby roses. My preYelp visits were during my Canyon Park days and when I did a disposable diaper donation meetup in the parking lot. So it was nice to revisit after a long hiatus. There is a drive through, outdoor patio seating, vast indoor seating with AC. Decent pastry case selections, assorted merch, and really cool interior artwork featured. The counter staff/baristas were super efficient and friendly. I even got an extra butterhorn since the other one was inadvertently broken, that was very kind. The bacon cheddar scone heated up well a day or so later. The 16oz iced mocha was spot on, well crafted on that toasty Saturday. Bothell has sure grown and come into its own over the past 23 years. Glad Caffe Ladro has a solid indie spot in the community.

Cortado and espresso Espreso Chip Coffee Cake, best combo!

Was in the area to pickup stuff from a friend early in the morning, so I pull up my maps app and search for caffè ladro, hoping to find one on the way. Booom, this one was just 5 mins from my destination, how lucky! Nice little spot delivering the usual caffè ladro amazingness. Got my usual cortado and espresso chip cake, did not disappoint, best caffe ladro combo imho. I saw a drive through outside, but it was unclear to me if it was actually working, no signs and nobody in line, despite the fact that the store itself was quite full of people. Highly recommended.

Came here on a sunny Seattle day , it was crowded . Coffee was great and it has lots of games to engage with kids and have some family time. Ambiance is cozy lot of place to sit and very good vibe. Just that servers need to be little more polite. Rest all were excellent.

I was in Bothell recently, wanted a snack and decided to try Caffe Ladro. They have a small parking lot out front. I got a Bacon Beechers scone and got myself a spot to enjoy my scone and my book. The scone was great.

Vegan berry muffin

I like the vibe here. Nice decor, spacious patio for nicer weather, not too crowded inside. Very kind and friendly staff. I ESPECIALLY love that they have vegan options for baked goods! That's a rarity in Bothell and this part of the greater Seattle area in general. Today they had a vegan berry muffin and a vegan oat bar. I had the muffin and it was delicious! Most people would have no idea it was vegan. They also do non-dairy milks (almond, hemp, soy, or oat) for 85 cents more. The wooden chairs are a little uncomfortable if you are sitting there for awhile. But that's my only real gripe. There are other cafes whose coffee I prefer flavour-wise, but I'll still keep going here regularly for those vegan muffins :) Thanks for offering vegan options!

I came all the way to this Ladro because it seemed like this was the only open location on Christmas. Now that I got my coffee, it really feels likes Christmas. I loved the customer service and the energy from Dri who is the store manager for this location. She was absolutely phenomenal and her latte is amazing! It's much bigger space than any other Ladros that I have been to and has that southern feel to it. If you are around lynwood, check it out and you won't be disappointed with Dri's latte skills.

Decent food options and really great coffee. But the service is borderline rude and indifferent.

Farine Bakery & Cafe - The breakfast sandwich, liege waffle (left), crème brûlée cronut (right), and side order of potatoes (very back middle)

Everything tasted great and felt well thought out. My partner ordered the almond croissant and an iced latte, which came with a small crunchy piece of almond croissant on top -- both were excellent. This is officially my new favorite breakfast spot in the area and I'll definitely be back. The inside decor was tasteful and inviting, and the staff and service were great -- super friendly and even said goodbye as we were leaving.

The cafe gets really busy in the morning, and indoor seating fills up quickly. There is outdoor seating with some heaters, though with how cold the weathers been lately, I prefer getting my bakery to go. I love the crème brûlée cruffin, and the lavender honey scone (also one of my first orders from here) is awesome! It's not surprising that the cruffin is one of their best sellers since it's pretty big and well worth the money. I also appreciate that they include tags for gluten free and vegan options, it'd be cool to see more food using both categories. During my most recent visit, I bought an almond berry cake (the only one that's vegan and gluten free), and I really appreciated the server asking me if I'd like the cake to be packed separately from my other orders. I've bought these pastries to share with friends and family, who've equally enjoyed the treats! Overall, farine is now one of my staple bakery spots in the Eastside!

The overall vibe has some people working, eating, drinking, so a little bit of everything. They have a small but serious menu; offering a wide variety of items. As with their coffee selections- they also have a wide variety of coffee options. I went with their Sakura Bliss Latte- cherry blossom and coconut and asked for hlaf the amount of sweetner, it was perfect! As you make your way up to the counter you realize they have pastries and quiche and other breakfast items. I decided to go with their ham and cheese quiche. It was delicious! My only complaint here is the quiche is too big for the tiny plate they serve it on, making it hard to eat.

When we realized we were at the wrong place, we informed the staff. They were incredibly polite and friendly and didn't show any irritation at all. They kindly said it was no problem and were very understanding. While we were there, we took a look at the menu and decided we should come back and try the food another time. A couple of months later, we returned to give it a try. We ordered the non-mixed grill, and it was absolutely delicious. The beef was cooked perfectly--juicy, tender, and full of flavor. The chicken was also excellent. The rice was perfectly cooked, and when we added the butter, it tasted amazing. They also had a special Persian spice that elevated the flavor to another level. The service was warm and welcoming. Our server took the time to explain how Persian food is traditionally enjoyed and described the purpose of each ingredient. We followed his suggestions, and the experience was even more enjoyable. The ambiance was simple and modern, and the place was very clean and well maintained. Definitely a must-try.

Noon Café is a casual family diner offering traditional grilled kababs (aka kebab), appetizers, sandwiches, and pizzas - all Persian/Iranian style. The interior is basic, decorated with photos of Iranian landmarks (I assume). Currently, they have a memorial due to the ongoing war. (Peace to all...) Service is warm and friendly. Be sure to ask questions if the dish names are unfamiliar. The Food: Soltani, $32.99 - 4 Stars Soltani includes one skewer of Koobideh (ground beef) and one skew of Barg (flank steak). Both are well-seasoned with excellent flavor. We ordered the flank steak medium rare, but it was medium with no pink inside. The steak was tolerable, not as tender as it could have be. This dish was served with rice per the menu. After I saw another table has their kabab served with a bread, I asked the server. She said other than rice, there is a choice of Persian bread (flat bread with sesame) and salad. Curious that wasn't in the menu nor did she say it. Not a dealbreaker. Her reply did raise my eyebrow. Zaboon, $16.99 - 3 Stars Menu: Veal tongue, simmered and fried, tomato, pickles, parsley Based on the description, the texture completely threw me off. The meat is mushy to the point of spreadable. The flavor is light with minimum seasoning. I applied hot sauce liberally to the sandwich. Portion size is large. I ate only half. Fries, $6.99 - 3 Stars Menu: Golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside Some pieces aren't crispy enough. Some pieces are too thick such that the inside has the potato gritty texture. The sauce is a house-created flavor. We like the sauce more than we like the fries. The food is closer to 3.5 Stars. I like the family vibe and am rounding up to 4 Stars for the overall rating.
