My gorgeous coffee
Roxy M.

Went back today after not coming here for a few years and the drinks were just as good as before! I got the oat shakerato with cream top and a cappuccino with almond milk and both were amazing! You can really taste the quality of the coffee in both drinks. This is also a really cute place to sit down and work/do homework. I use to come here a lot when I was in college. My only issue was the fact that they left raid (ant killer) on the counter. I feel like it's a little gross.... Other than the ant killer being out as decor, i don't have any complaints. All I ask is pleaseee bring back the rose and lychee tea!!!

Came here with the bf after dropping off my car to get serviced. Caffe Bene had good reviews for coffee, so thought the bf would enjoy it here. It was a Sat mid morning when we got here and the place was already packed. We waited in line as there was a couple of people ahead of us - which gave us plenty of time to look over the menu and pick what we wanted. There was plenty of seating, but many were already taken up. We found a spot near the front and settled in. The place had a nice, calm atmosphere. I could def imagine people coming by on nice days to get some work done. The tables were spacious and great for laying everything out to work. I ended up getting a strawberry matcha latte and their ham and cheese croissant. Bf got a house coffee and a waffle. Everything came out in about 10-15 mins. I enjoyed both my drink and the croissant sandwich, but I felt like my matcha drink was missing something. The croissant was too much for me to finish, but bf helped. Bf enjoyed his house coffee and waffle - it was crispy and just the right amount of sweetness. Overall, a cute place to get some work done and/or hang out. They offer good drinks/snacks and has a quiet ambiance.

Cream Puff

We came here on the Saturday afternoon. The ambiance and vibes were very nice and the service was very quick with relatively little wait. I ordered the Peach Mojito and Cream Puff. I wasn't a fan of peach mojito - I thought it was too sweet and peach was overpowering compared to the fizziness of the drink even after blending the drink. The cream puff was pretty good and wasn't very sweet, but very creamy which was a plus. Overall, I loved the ambiance and the cream puff was pretty good, but would recommend trying another drink from the menu.

This is a great spot to study for many hours while drinking a sweet drink and enjoy a meal/sweet treat. There are many tables in the cafe which makes it easy to find a seat when you want to do work. It feels cozy and I love the amount of natural light :)

The people here are always so kind to me and to my pup! I love that they have La Columbe coffee and their matcha is really good too. My pup loves the pup-cup, which always comes with mini Milkbones Great lil local spot.

Strawberry Cream Cheese Honey Bread

Tried this place for the first time last week. Their menu had a wide variety of drinks and food items. I ordered a hot chai latte and it was really good! I tried both cold and hot because the barista accidentally made it iced at first but let me keep the drink hehe. My friend got the strawberry matcha which was also yummy. It had actual strawberry purée rather than just strawberry syrup. There are also different milk options for lactose intolerant folks or those with other dietary needs. Lastly, we tried their strawberry cream cheese honey waffle. Personally, it wasn't bad but it wasn't my favorite. The middle portion with the strawberries was solid. The edges of the bread were a bit dry and needed a lot of chewing because of how dense it was. FYI this place is pretty popular on the weekend. I came earlier and there were different seating options still available but by the afternoon it was full. I have yet to try going on the weekday, but I'm sure it's not as full. The interior is cozy, modern, and clean. Service was fast and the quality of their drinks tasted good. Overall, service was friendly and quick. I really liked how they had a lot of seating, for different groups sizes, wheel chair accessibility, free parking, Wi-Fi, and a bathroom. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Customer service standards are lacking in terms of how they greet customers. But they are straightforward and make your order promptly. WiFi password changes everyday, if you return you will need to forget the network on all your devices and enter the new password for the day. Not the end of the world but definitely adds extra to your day, but I understand since they don't want people to come in and WiFi squat. Ordered a Matcha Latte with Oat Milk ($8.42 with tax). They have some outlets along the walls which is sufficient but chances are you won't be able to get an outlet since the seats along the wall are mostly taken. Came in at two different times on a weekday at around 12:00pm and 5:30pm. That is what I concluded.

Came here for a latte. Decided to try a new one today and ended up getting the lavender latte, which truthfully might be one of the BEST lavender lattes I've ever had. This was really really good, and honestly I recommend trying this if it's your first time here. It'll definitely leave a great impression :) Beyond that, the baristas here are always nice and very helpful. The vibe is great. Perfect to catch up with friends and do work. Overall it's a really pretty and clean vibe. My only "comment" per se is that they recently raised the prices and made the portions a lot smaller. The first time I came here it was already on the smaller side for typical lattes I got, but now it's even smaller and more expensive. They raised the price approx $1 but decreased the amount you get by 20%. This made me kind of sad :(

Service was fast, the ambiance is a really nice cafe vibe. The lavender coffee was strong in the coffee flavor (take this with a grain of salt, i drink milktea way more than coffee). There was a hint of lavender but the coffee flavor overpowers it.

Caffé Bene is a great place to camp out and get work done--I was there for a few hours and the space was packed with others doing the same. The mint cold brew was perfectly balanced, refreshing, and a great afternoon pick-me-up. Love the rustic vibe and unique drink options.

Tiramisu
Jin S.

The food here was very good. We got a tiramisu and a latte. The tiramisu was moist and chocolate filled felt very light but heavy same time. The latte was sweet and just the right amount of cream. I usually wait to try a spot 2/3 times before writing a review on drinks. This one is for sure a repeat contender for good on the go to taste ratio. And they're fast less than a 3 min wait for coffee and they're packed. Servers are super nice and courteous and the atmosphere is quiet and good place to work or read.

Corn latte (left), House Milk Tea (right)

This is one of my friend's favorite cafes in South Bay, so we decided to meet here for an early morning coffee to catch up! At a little before 10:30 on a Wednesday morning, there were only a couple of customers sitting at the tables. My friend decided to order their house milk tea, while I opted to try their corn latte. There was plenty of seating to choose from, so we sat by the windows to chat while waiting for our drinks. Our drinks were ready within a few minutes. My friend enjoyed her milk tea, and I also liked my corn latte, though I will say the corn flavor was more on the subtle side. That being said, you can definitely tell they used real corn because I felt remnants of thin corn skins as I was sipping on my latte. Wouldn't be opposed to coming back and trying their other menu options (specifically their cakes and pastries) if I'm in the area! Overall a solid space to chat with friends or get some work done.

Almond milk Latte
Ramon F.

Plenty of seating with WiFi and power outlets available. Great place to work over coffee. While I didn't eat, they had a very appealing food selection and other patrons seem to be enjoying their food. Insider secret: this complex has a parking garage around the corner thus, parking was a breeze which is always a plus in the Bay Area. Highly recommended! Will be back!

We got 2 of the creme brulee matcha swirl due to the hype of this drink. The cream was extremely thick and just for my preference, it was too much. The matcha was not as strong to balance the sweetness and decadency of the cream. We ended up letting it melt a bit so we can drink the matcha without having to eat chunks of the cream. If you like your matcha thick, then I recommend this drink! It was just not up my alley unfortunately.

I opted for ice on the side because I wasn't having my che until later, but unfortunately the ice froze into one big chunk in my freezer so I might just have them put the ice in the drink next time. I think price might be the only sticking point. The che is about 50% more expensive than Bambu or other Vietnamese dessert spots. I can absolutely see why their products are more expensive and totally think the quality of their dessert drinks surpass Bambu or similar dessert cafes. At the same time I have to acknowledge that I can order a che ba mau at another dessert spot and have my craving satisfied for less money. Prior this place was unique and delicious, and really hit a spot. I believe that now with the various matcha spots around, it may not have as much as of unique selling point. Their tornado matcha is good and sweet, and is a great dessert however in my personal opinion, their traditional drinks are not standouts. Last week I went with a friend and ordered a matcha oat latte with a double shot, and while I tasted the matcha, it was grainy and didn't really have any depth. I wouldn't say I would avoid going here, for a matcha option and to get caffeinated for the day. It is still an option but I feel like it wouldn't be fair to say it's worth driving over 30+ minutes here. As a note too, this location can get extremely busy in terms of parking!
