The restaurant has a beautiful modern design, and every plate that came out was as impressive visually as it was delicious. The focaccia with whipped ricotta was addictive, the arancini were perfectly crisp, and the pasta tasting was a standout. The tomahawk was cooked to perfection--tender, flavorful, and easily enough to share. Dessert was equally memorable, especially the pistachio creation. What really elevated the experience was the hospitality. We had the opportunity to meet Chef Marco and Carlo, and they couldn't have been more gracious. It's always refreshing to see people who are so passionate about what they're building and who genuinely take the time to connect with guests. Between the food, the presentation, and the hospitality, Mano Libera delivers a complete dining experience. It's absolutely worth a visit if you're in Coral Gables.

The staff accommodated us in a very professional matter. Menu were given and wine list. The waiter came back few minutes after to ask us if we wanted cocktails and we did placed the order. We proceeded to order the starter 3 different starter, charcuterie board, very well displayed seemed to be sliced with a laser but enought for all 4 to sample. Next was the Octopus leg one medium size grilled cut in 3 pieces condiments around , the plate also was balance and the octopus was slightly rubbery but eatable. Last was zucchini and gamblers friti very cleaver tempura, crispness à 10. Main entrée consisted of two filets, one double lame chop, one pasta à la rabbiatta. The temperature requested was MRare and Medium they both both came slightly warm and over cooked and under sized. The garnish was ok artichoke bottom and thin zucchini strip, perhaps something else. I returned the plate and waited for a new one to be cooked it came rare but the meat was tender and I wasn't about to send it back . We order a Bordeaux superior 2019 le tempo D'Angelo to be recommended beautiful wine. We proceed with dessert, tiramos deconstructed small and a Gelato pistachio very good. Order Sauternes but were sent port instead for dessert. Over all the place is good but to contend for a Michelin star Hummm. Price although are Michelin 740 dollars for the meal à bit over done. We chose the main restaurant area which had options for tables and booths, and she gave us the brunch menu, which had a good options for lots of dishes. I ordered a macchiato which she told me was not like the ones you get at Starbucks. They are smaller and stronger, I appreciated the heads up. They have alternate milk options and I went with almond milk. For our meals, we ordered the Caesar salad, the brekkie sanga which was made on sourdough bread w bacon, egg, avo, cheese, tomato jam & herb mayo very delish! And finally the Genoa pizza with hot honey a must get! Very light and crispy! Would definitely go back to try some items on their dinner menu as well.

Ambiance is Elegant yet casual thru out the dinning room area and it has a sit in bar area as well. The menu is the same as in other locations and it varies from pastas to meats and some fish. Food wise our experience was good. The veal was tender and the sauce was on point, Tuna tartar was delicate and nicely seasoned. The razor clams were really good... specially the sauce. Probably the best thing here was the service. Very attentive and friendly and our waiter had some good recommendations. The wine list is simple yet very complete. Prices are on the lower side of most restaurants in the area.

This is our second time there and plan to return. I live in Coral Gables and there are a bunch of Italian restaurants. I must say it is currently the best one in the Gables. The service was excellent. Our server, Misael (goes by Michael too), was one of the best servers we've had in a long time. Accommodating, knowledgeable of the different plates, and to boot funny. Misael made our dining experience amazing! The place is so nice, beautiful modern, clean decor, but at the same time warm and welcoming. Highly recommend and definitely returning!

I finally took advantage of Taste of the Gables to check out Kojin…read more My sister and I arrived a little before 9 p.m. and waited to be seated. The dining room is charming but small, the tables are tiny and packed very close together. I also wasn't a huge fan of the lighting, though I loved the minimalist, Asian-inspired floral centerpieces. They were out of the Albariño, so I asked our server to recommend something similar. He suggested a Riesling, but it just wasn't for me, so I switched to sake instead. In hindsight, I really wish he had mentioned it was $35 a glass. That was a pretty unpleasant surprise when the check arrived. Anyways, my sister & I decided to share a bunch of different dishes. To start, I ordered the Summer Salad and my sister got the Milk Bread. The salad was phenomenal, bright, fresh, and full of interesting flavors. The stracciatella added this creamy, comforting richness that tied everything together. The milk bread with miso butter? Absolutely insane. Easily one of the best bites of the night. We also ordered the Crudo à la carte. The presentation was beautiful, with flavored shaved ice keeping the fish chilled, but unfortunately the fish itself tasted overly fishy. We only had a bite or two before telling our server. His response was basically a shrug. No concern, no follow-up, no offer to replace it. For our mains, my sister ordered the Wagyu Striploin, which she really enjoyed. I went with the Maitake Donburi, and this was probably my biggest disappointment of the evening. I was expecting bold flavors, smoky mushrooms, and some contrast in texture. Instead, everything leaned overwhelmingly sweet. The mushrooms had no char, the rice itself tasted sweet, the egg was runny, and the entire bowl was covered in an almost sickly sweet sauce. It felt one-dimensional, and I ended up taking 2 bites before leaving most of it behind. Again, our server noticed and didn't ask if anything was wrong or if there was something else I'd prefer. It felt very much like, "Oh well." For dessert, we shared the Carrot Cake and the Chocolate Tart. Both were good, but neither really wowed me. My sister loved the chocolate tart, while I thought it was just ok. Overall, Kojin wasn't quite the experience I was expecting. The service felt surprisingly indifferent, especially when two dishes were sent back almost untouched. That said, the Summer Salad and Milk Bread were so creative and genuinely delicious that they're reason enough for me to give Kojin another shot. Next time, though, I'll be ordering very differently.

Chef's Tasting was out of this world, and our favorites still hit the spot (maybe even more?) with the Caesar salad and milk bread. I'd die happy if this was my last meal. Chef Pedro and Chef Katherine really make it the most welcoming atmosphere, the place is just a cozy & cool vibe, complete with a dash of fun at the end of the dinner. Service was friendly and knowledgeable with each dish and suggested drink pairings. We vow to return hopefully every season when the menu changes accordingly. Forever and always recommend :)

So when this Friday took me to Giralda under the stars, I made it a point to look for a pasta spot and landed at Vita Bistro. With both inside and outside tables, I sat on the terrace to catch the music and people watching. The food was delicious! I ordered a plate of penne arrabiatta with added chicken. The pasta had a nice texture, just past al dente and was SPICY! Almost with as much "kick" as 'that famous place. The Panna cotta I had for dessert, drizzled with honey, and popped with fresh berries was also yummy. Presentation of the bread could have been a little nicer. The four tiny pieces were thrown in a Cuban-bread style basket, with no plate to dip the balsamic vinegar. They were also served at the same time as the pasta dish, where it's been my experience that bread usually comes a little before to munch on. Service was adequate, on par for when there's an 18% automatic gratuity. My waitress came by when my plate was brought and after I finished, no "middle of the meal" check in.

This would be a mistake on your part. The small location should easily be one of your go to choices for a nice date night out - but only someone worth taking of course . We happen to be a bit hungry after an event and decided to stop at Certo. My better half and I had both been here before, but it wasn't till I started fully experiencing the dinner dinning experiences of miami that I realized just how potentially underrated this resteraunt might be. Staff was lighthearted and welcoming. The ambience had a nice dim relaxing feeling and the decore is that high dinning feel that I'm always a sucker for. The resteraunt has to do its best with space. So there are a lot of tables in the small dinning room but not so much that it feels over crowded once you sit down. Jonathan our waiter was a delight, fun and willing to play along with my (sometimes cringy) wit. The food was inspired. The Pasta: Porcini Mushroom Rigatoni was the best pasta plate I remember having. Creamy flavorful silky sauce with an al dente Rigatoni in a pizza dough baked bread bowl. The mushrooms were fresh and flavorful and most importantly, not over cooked and turned into to a squishy baby food. The flavor had a delicious musky flavor balanced with a soft cream and cheese flavor. My eyes lit up on the first bite. The Risotto: Black Squid Ink With Lobster Tail was divine. This nearly black hole colored risotto was hard to explain. But the best way to describe it was amazing. Finally we had the Zanaglione. A whipped parfait with blue and strawberries that was both light and airy but rich and creamy. All on an editable sugar bowl (way too much for us to chew after the first bite). If you're in Miami and especially if you're located in the coral gables, South miami area -- visit this restaurant. You have a gem nuzzled just a minute or two away from your bed!
