Service is nice, menu is up on the wall (they also have paper menu if you want!!) I got a mancake (basically pancake with sausage and bacon inside), a side order of home fries and bacon (yes in love bacon)!! The mancake comes with 3 giant size pancake.. there are sausage and bacon but not a whole lot.. I guess not what I was expected.. taste good... home fries are little bit disappointed, it's like roasted potato? The girls working there were very sweet and professional. However, the place was very empty for a Saturday morning. One look at the menu is one reason why. Way too expensive. $12 for a coffee and chai tea. $16 for pancakes. $16 for an omelette Sat at the counter. Previous customer used the paper placemats that were down. This is a very charming and beautifully designed spot in Warwick. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and clearly thoughtfully put together, which made us excited to try it. Unfortunately, the food and overall experience didn't match the pricing. The coffee was very disappointing, especially for a breakfast café. While the breakfast was served hot, the toast was barely buttered and lacked attention to detail. The pricing felt excessive -- over $4 for a single sausage patty, and about $60 for breakfast for two, which did not feel justified based on the quality and portions. Food is Mediocre at best. Coffee is old and stale. The pancakes were flavorless like they forgot to add part of the mix. Fruit looked like it was on its last legs and probably should have been tossed. The service looks like they are underpaid and overworked. They just don't want to be there. I was hungry on a Monday morning and my regular spot. Wolfies of Warwick is not open on Monday. Went to grab a quick egg sandwich with bacon to go. Unwrapped the sandwich thin amount of egg the bacon tasted odd. The roll could've been fresher the staff seemed Distracted when when I came to place my order. I have been a customer for well over 15 years plus! I went today to enjoy what I thought would be a nice lunch and turned out to be not so great. The owner was rude. The food was horrible. The chips were stale. The turkey was ice cold I asked for it to be heated I just don't know what happened to such a great establishment how I do miss what it used to be. We used to frequent this cafe almost every other week before pandemic. It attracted us by quick service, homey atmosphere and reasonable food. This weekend we decided to stop by after picking the last crop of apples. The cafe still has the homey vibe, but needs updates, sits are ripped and visibly patched. The place is clean. Service is disorganize, bunch of school age kids hanging behind counter, even with no line they kind of ignore you until someone a bit seasoned shows. The cheese omelet has a ?choice ?single option ?combo of 4 cheeses and I go 2 slightly melted slices of yellow American (honestly, I though of combo, it this was my oversight and I was never asked). It was ok. My husband got 2 eggs over easy, done appropriately, however, his toast was burned (see pic) and I was very surprised it made out of kitchen and through the server. So I came back in to see if maybe I came on an off day as the owner mentioned that they spend a long time on the quality of their food but I was even more disappointed then I was when I wrote my review. I got the Sizzling Buddha with bacon on it because I loved everything in it but it didn't work. It was super super sweet, even with the bacon and unfortunately too oily for me to pick up so I had to eat it with a fork and knife. I also know now that they are aren't permitted to have a fryer but the chips really are just a throw on. The drinks are still bomb though! You should definitely try some of their flavored lattes. read more

Cute little Place in Downtown Warwick NY near the old Train Tracks ... Table are placed accordingly to COVID Guidelines. Staff wears masks. I went to brunch on Sunday, September 4 with 4 people. We had a wonderful experience. It was very pleasant atmosphere, we had delicious food that was served quickly and hot. The staff was very friendly and took time to chit chat with us. I would highly recommend this establishment. I am giving it 5 stars. We all had 4 different items from the menu and all 4 of us really enjoyed our brunch. We love our coffee and are quite particular about what a good couple coffee is. The servers are all sweet and fast, much appreciated (especially as a New Yorker). The restaurant itself is large inside and you can get great coffee and lots of great bites too. They have ice cream for those craving sweets as well. Great selection of coffee and tea. I am actually shocked at some of the poor reviews I see about caffe a la mode. I love trying new places and I drag my fiancé to every new place I want to try. This was once upon a time a new place to us, but today after we left extremely satisfied my fiancé said "this is why I come here, because I know what I am getting and I know the food will always be good, stop trying to make me try new places when I don't need to" But actually the food is always amazing. The atmosphere is great, you can eat inside or out, you can have a meal or just a small bite, or coffee to go. The service is always great, and they are very friendly. This is somewhere I will always make sure to bring my family/friends whenever they are in town. I really hope anyone reading this will disregard the negative comments about this place and try it for yourself .. you will not be unsatisfied. It really is amazing!! Used to be a serviceable (if a little overpriced) place to grab a wrap and an iced coffee, but it's gone steadily downhill for years. Everything on the menu is made up mostly of it's cheapest ingredient (e.g. a chicken wrap will be mostly lettuce, roast beef wrap is mostly potatoes), coffee's often cold and carafes empty, espresso is burnt, cold brew isn't diluted right (I think they may even just give you cold brew concentrate over ice). The vibe is good but it feels like everything is just thrown together in the cheapest, easiest way possible. They seem to have a really high staff turn over, which would explain why there's always a problem when I order from them. It's sad because it's a great location and they've done a nice job with the interior, but you can literally get a better and cheaper lunch at the convenience store up the road. read more

My wife had been craving a Talkin' Turkey wrap from here since she discovered she was pregnant in November and could no longer have deli meat. Nearly 4 weeks after our son's birth, we finally were able to get out to her home town of Warwick, which took about an hour to get to from where we live. I can't express enough how disappointing it was when we walked in and noticed that although the staff behind the counter was properly masked, the entire kitchen staff (all the people handling the food in the back) did not have a mask on. I don't think I've ever eaten anything else here but they make a great dirty chai! There's generally plenty of seating, it's a family friendly place. There's occasionally a long line to order but it goes by very quickly, a lot of people are just doing drink orders and not necessarily food, so don't get intimidated.
