I was visiting my family in Greenwood Lake and they decided to bring me to this nice little tucked away place. I had the "Stitch" salad with chicken added. Very tasty and the bacon was cooked perfectly. I don't know when I'll be back here do ever come back I will get the salad again. My mom got a regular burger which was cooked perfectly and garnished according to her specifications. On this, our first visit, we just enjoyed hot beverages; a very good americano and a turbo hot chocolate for hubby. Loved looked at the massive chalkboard menus, I have about 4-5 bowls to choose from on our next visit. If you are lucky enough to come in good weather, I would think the porch and standing counter outside are phenomenal. In town for a wedding. Visited with a group of ten, including kids, while in a crunch for time. We were served at neck breaking speed! This place is fabulous!! Best coffee, menu, and desserts. One half of the restaurant you can chose to purchase your food at the counter and sit and eat it at the tables. The other half you can sit down and chose to be served. My favorite thing to order here is a coffee and one of their wraps or sandwiches. They have a great selection and even serve them in the morning (versus just at lunch.) There's quite a different selection of coffee flavors like vanilla and graham cracker, in addition to the regular flavors. The service here is always very quick and they must pool their tips because everyone is always willing to help you, whether they're your server or not. On top of that, very reasonable prices. Caffe A La Mode is an adorable coffee shop located in Warwick, a quant town in New York State. Caffe A La Mode has an extensive menu offering anything from quesadillas, salads, burgers, omelets, pancakes, french toast, muffins and croissants. They also offer ice cream as well. They also offer hot and iced coffee beverages as well. I chose the Greek Goddess salad for lunch. The salad has spinach, feta, walnuts, dried cranberries, mandarin oranges, mushrooms and a honey balsamic dressing. I also got an iced latte with almond milk. I thought the salad was delicious and had the perfect balance of sweet & savory. The honey balsamic dressing was delicious and I wish they bottled it up for sale, it was that good! The iced latte was very smooth and not bitter or too strong. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. I placed my order to-go and after I paid I sat down and the staff brought my order right to my table. I love the feel of this small town coffee shop. I highly recommend stopping here if you are in the area for breakfast or lunch. read more

Went there on last Friday for the Open Mic night... 7 - 10pm. Lots of great people and the music was terrific. (Feel free to get up and sing or play whatever you bring!) The place is pretty small... and while we didn't eat a meal there, we did have their Cafe Mudslide dessert which was gone in seconds between the 3 of us. I've been to this Cafe multiple times in hopes that it would get better. I'm giving it 2 Stars only because the food is decent. Their staff has something that needs to be desired, and if they're not talking to each other they're ignoring and giving attitude to their patrons. They do need some training on how to make a latte, unfortunately you get a cup of steamed milk instead of froth milk. This has happened to me more times than I can count. The only reason why I keep coming back here is because they're the only game in town when it comes to lattes. However that's not the worst of it, they never purge their steam wands. I'm not a germaphobe, nor a neatness nut, I did own a coffee houses and if you don't purge the wands you get bacteria buildup in the wands. This unfortunately can lead to your patrons getting sick. Out of the many times I've been here I have never seen them, not once, do the simple task. And frankly it's disgusting. Today I went in to give them one last chance and I was told there's a $10 minimum to charge anything. I'm not sure how you can have a $10 minimum at a place that sells coffee but apparently they get away with it the only game in town. Needed a bite before heading to a meeting and wanted something quick but good. Dropped into this joint and was helped by a pleasant young blonde woman who recommended the New Yawker! I made the mistake of ordering a warm wrap, which was delivered without the cheese mentioned in the menu, a single leaf of lettuce and enough sauce to make soup in the bottom of the wrap. This place had great potential. The atmosphere is quaint and the servers are all capable college girls. My husband and I both got omelettes and home fries, and I feel I could have made a better meal blindfolded. The cheese in my omelette wasn't melted and the egg was clearly egg product; not fresh egg. Unseasoned and bland, it was still miles better than the 'homefries' which must have been yesterday's shredded newspaper masked as potatoes. The table next to us orders pancakes that looked so fluffy and delicious; which had me salivating and I could not help but feel if we went with that, how different our experience could have been. Food was ok a few years ago but it went downhill in recent months. Seems super thrown together and like they started sourcing from a cheaper food provider. I went in last month and it was mask casual (no one was wearing a mask except me). I asked the cashier about this and she ignored my question completely.
