The breakfast burrito and pancakes were so spot; I'm writing this review to kill some time to make room for the rest of my meal. The iced cookie butter latte and iced vanilla chai with almond milk were equally as great. Service was friendly and the decor is...tacky in the perfect way. It's fun. It feels like your friend's divorced mom's house. There are fun little Knickknacks for purchase and mystery books gift wrapped with stickers and little gifts included. Came here for breakfast one morning before going snowboarding and it was amazing. As a vegetarian, it's hard to find places, especially in small towns, with many options and Tuscan has plenty! I ordered The Warwick sandwich and it was 10/10!!! The service was great and the cafe itself was so cute! They had many displays of art for sale along with small notebooks and other things. The staff here were very welcoming and polite, and the food was delicious with plenty of options. I ended up staying for a few hours, and the atmosphere was wonderful--busy on a Sunday morning, but clearly for good reason. It really felt like the hub of the town. I went there once for there French toast and loved it so much came back a second time but I arrived a few minutes after breakfast ended and they wouldn't make it for me. I ordered there jackfruit burrito and my mom got the chicken quesadilla. I waited for what felt like a lifetime. They brought out a burrito on a plate with crush tortilla chips like it was crumbs at the bottom of the bag. The quesadilla looked like something I made at home on a pan with Kraft cheese and tortilla. They also were out of water bottles so I watched the waitress fill a cup in the sink and give it to me. It was bad enough to make me not want to come back again. The place is cute and I wanted to love it but I just don't don't how someone could have a successful restaurant with such disorganization. read more

Came here for an early lunch/brunch with my boyfriend and walked in right before a large party that had clearly been there many times before. I ordered chicken salad on a croissant and my boyfriend ordered a wrap. It seemed like the food was taking a while to come out so after about 20 minutes (chicken salad on a croissant should take about 2) my boyfriend got up and asked the woman at the counter where our food was. She said it would be out soon and brushed us off. A few moments later I decided to go look and see if the large party that came in after of us and sat outside had received their food, about half of them had their food. When we hit the 30 minute mark we decided to leave and went to the counter to state we had literally sat for 30 minutes since ordering and never received our food. One woman behind the counter decided to claim she had made our food and served it to the wrong table however, having worked a kitchen before, the tag for our tables food would not have still been hanging there if they had brought us our food. And as soon as we approached the counter, the server bringing out the food knew immediately what table number we were and that we hadn't received our food. Why would the server not tell the kitchen we had been sitting there for literally 30 mins? Why would the woman not even look to see where our food was the first time my boyfriend approached and asked? It seemed as though they likely just knew the regulars and opted to take care of them first. Either way I could tell that service was incredibly slow by looking at surrounding tables. This business is not operationally sound and needs to learn how to work a line during a brunch rush. While sitting and having nothing better to do than observe, I saw that other tables food came out one at a time and often many minutes apart. Great to bring it out warm but who wants to eat their entire meal before their partner receives theirs? I will say they did refund us and give us our drinks for free with no problem however we didn't get refunded the tip we left so that accounted for the drinks and in reality we had nothing but wasted time there. Long story short don't come here at 11:30 on a Sunday if eating was something you intended to do. read more

The owner of the Tuscan café was there for the community during the COVID-19 shut down selling masks, gloves, bleach, toilet paper, paper towels, and food like a mini general store. I love the Tuscan Cafe! The staff is super friendly, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the wraps are amazing. My favorite is the Southwest Chicken Wrap, however, I have a new found love for the Tuscan Turkey wrap. I love the locate art hanging on the wall. My sister was recently featured there (her photos are still on the wall). They were great working with her and let her do whatever she wanted to display her photos. Tuscan is a great spot to grab a cup of coffee, meet some friends, and have one of their delicious homemade sweet treats. All of their meals are reasonably priced, and they have a pretty extensive menu. Try their lemon bars and the berry apple pie, they make all of your problems go away. The atmosphere is what makes the place what it is. It is incredibly cozy, and is great for both meeting with friends for lunch and/or bringing your laptop or book for some quiet time. They have great coffee deals where you can grab a mug and fill up, plus they have their own little library of books in case you forgot yours. Came here on the morning of 9/11 with my girlfriend to have a chat. Initially we came for just coffee but my friend raved about this cafe and I saw a turkey special on the board that was calling to me. This place I super cute and in the heart of Warwick. The owners where very nice and welcoming. It had been my first time here despite living in Warwick for 4 years. The place was nice and quiet and a great ambiance to catch up with a friend. The sandwich was to-die for! I can't remember exactly what it was called but it had a special homemade sauce that was so darn yummy! In fact I came back about 2 weeks later with a strong craving but it was gone from the specials menu so I tried another one of their specials with home made apple mayo and this too was amazing! I love their ambiance and customer service but it is their uniqueness in flavors and food that keeps me coming back and guessing what will be on the menu this week? One of the pleasures of visiting Warwick, was dining at the Tuscan Cafe. No more! The service has declined -- and the ambiance has disappeared. Replacing all the lovely paintings on the walls, is a bare and cold hospital pink color. I don't know where the owner's mind was when they did this. For the first time ever on Yelp, I am bewildered by the rating given to this cafe. I've come here numerous times now, thinking perhaps I ordered the wrong things, or caught them at a bad time of day. But repeatedly now, the food has been mediocre, at best. Every wrap I have ordered has been overloaded with watery lettuce, lacking any flavor, and had a gummy tortilla wrapped around it. (Thus far I have had the Bella Wrap, Southwestern Chicken, and Buffalo Tofu wraps) The Soup of the Day I ordered last time (creamy onion and kohlrabi) had curdled badly and looked like watered down cat food (or baby diarrhea, according to my boyfriend). It tasted OK (kinda off, probs due to the curdling) but nothing should ever look so unappealing. I give the food here 1 star. Don't get me wrong, I love this as a coffee shop. They have interesting coffee drinks and it is fair trade and such. It is a super cute little place, with a funky vibe, lots of couches, and the owners are really sweet. There are a lot of places to eat in Warwick, but I'd always choose the Tuscan first. The food is fairly priced and there are a lot of selections for vegetarians/vegans. Its always interesting to see the mix of people here on any given day. There are ALWAYS highschool aged kids hanging around but it can range to elderly folk sipping tea in a corner. Too cute. I've come to a few shows here and appreciate the fact that theres a decent place to catch live music. Visited the Tuscan last night for coffee, snacks, and wifi. I love the atmosphere of being here; everyone is always friendly and the food has yet to disappoint. Last night I enjoyed a mug of coffee (love that they offer REAL mugs if you're staying at the cafe), a tuna melt with bacon and tomato on multi-grain bread, and strawberry rhubarb pie. Yelping for a lunch spot for my vegetarian daughter after a long hike in nearby Hewitt State Forest, I found Tuscan Cafe. First impression was the casual, homey setting, reminded me of a frat house with style. Was greeted by sharp, attractive Christine who was an excellent and confident server. Our portobello mushroom wrap, avocado sandwich, and grilled cheese and tomato sandwich were all very fresh and tasty, with the portobello mushroom wrap being the best. We picked this place based on a Yelp search for "lunch" in the Warwick area. There weren't many places to choose from much less ones that offer vegan/vegetarian options. This is a locally owned and managed cafe with an eclectic, grungy, artsy vibe. There is a mish-mash of tables and chairs for seating plus comfy-looking couches to lounge on with a book. Random stickers, paintings, and mannequins adorn the interior of the space. Up front you can find advertisements for local establishments. The woman behind the counter was jovial and very pleasant. My cousin ordered a Mexican hot chocolate which was definitely heavy on the cayenne pepper but she offered to remake it to his liking. The food all around tasted healthy and fresh (we saw her opening the package of chicken to cook especially for our orders). The chicken burrito was a good-sized portion and I couldn't finish all of it. The guacamole I found especially refreshing. I ordered a chai latte to go and it was less spicy than I was expecting but did the job. My favorite place in the world. Extremely cool people, low cover charges, great music, and ohhhhh the food. Vegetarians and Vegans should definitely come check out some of this amazing menu. The town is full of younger kids who are looking for a good show, so it may be packed to the rafters with young punks. But everyone seems to have found a good balance between keeping to themselves and not being anti-social. You'll love this place. Cristie is awesome and always in a good mood, despite the look of frustration she sometimes gets. They run a great place here. My only five star rating goes to the Tuscan Cafe. read more
