Rating more like 3.5 stars. Came here based on other reviews. To be honest, not too impressed. The ambiance is more sterile/not cozy - maybe jarring because I was not expecting to see the option to order fried chicken when I walked in. The service was standard. We got the honey cinnamon latte, two lattes (one with oat milk), and a "cream" croissant pasty (looked like tiramisu flavor with dusted cocoa). Totally was over $30 before tip, which felt a bit steep. The coffee art was appreciated, though the coffee taste was just okay. I prefer/am used to a stronger coffee flavor but it wasn't bad. Just not something we'd *have* to go back to have. It seems like if you want a signature/flavored drink those are more popular; but I just want a good coffee/latte. The pastry looked pretty but lacking in buttery goodness and stale (maybe because they're cut and filled). My husband said we'll have to go back to try the fried chicken though we probably won't be back for coffee anytime soon.
After my blah cap from a coffee house in Alexandria, I had to stop by CV for a real one. Service is always fast and friendly and I love the glass windows and doors. Even on a bleak day they provide an openness to the cafe.
Highly recommended by our friend, we checked out this local coffee shop. We got their two specialty drinks and they were amazing! Creamy, smooth and sweet! Although being on the sweeter side, you were still able to taste the coffee which paired well with the flavors of the latte. Super refreshing for a hot summer morning! Drinks: Tiramisu Latte and Pink Blossom Latte
I visited on a whim on a Sunday morning and its was pretty slow and quiet. There's plenty of parking out front and the staff is super friendly. Cafe V is a cross between a coffee shop (they have delicious pastries) that serves breakfast sandwiches and, starting at 11AM, a Korean fried chicken restaurant. I had a cappuccino which was beautifully served on a coffee mug with saucer. While I waited for my breakfast sandwich, I had a sweet cream cheese-filled prune croissant, which was absolutely out of this world. For my true breakfast, I had a bacon, egg, and cheese bagel sandwich. You have the option between a bagel, croissant, or sourdough, and a couple of cheese options. Everything was freshly made. The price for a breakfast sandwich is a tad steep ($12.95) but other than that, it hit the spot. I'd gladly visit Cafe V again!
Usually when I'm in the Annandale/Springfield area and want to meet up with people, I hit the Tous Le Jours (www.yelp.com/biz/tous-les-jours-annandale-13). However, as of late, TLJ is always super packed and it's hard to find a table or it's usually super loud which makes conversation challenging. In keeping with my 2025 resolution to start checking off my list of bookmarked places to try, I finally stopped in Cafe V and was very impressed with the experience. Located off busy Little River Turnpike in what I loosely refer to as the "9292 plaza" since 9292 BBQ and shabu are also in this strip mall, Cafe V is a calm oasis for folks seeking a good cup of coffee/tea. The interior is best described as modern yet quaint coffeehouse chic. It's a open concept space with stark red furniture contrasting with muted hardwood tables and flooring. There are also "cutesy" Asian themed plushies and dolls on the window sills and walls, as well as coffee/tea themed paraphenalia staged throughout. Since it was mid-day and I already had consumed my morning black coffee, I opted for the matcha latte. The beverage was ready in about 3 minutes, and had a decorative flower design in the middle. Nice matcha flavor without being too "pronounced" as some matcha drinks can be; wish it was a bit hotter but I'll ask for that next time. I thought my friend's chai latte was better since it had hints of ginger, cardamon, cinnamon and it the perfect "sweet but not too sweet." Didn't have any pastries or anything else to eat, although there is a full kitchen on-site. There is a display case with scones, chocolate chip cookies, meringue cookies, and egg tarts. After chatting with the friendly staff, they mentioned that all of the items are made in-house. There are also savory items like sandwiches available. When we visited, it was a diverse crowd inside Cafe V. There was a PTA group planning out their kids events, people working on their laptops with their earbuds were isolating them from the world, and older folks enjoying their coffee while reading the paper. Cafe V is my kind of place. They serve good coffee/tea drinks in a multi-purpose environment. Best of all, if you're just looking to "hang out," Cafe V is perfect for that also.
We went last week during the day to grab a drink and work there, and it was a very cute looking cafe walking in and busy. I liked the wall art and decorations. There's enough parking too for that shopping center. There's a lot of menu variety, and you can buy premade drinks from the fridge like soda, along with merch/buy bagged teas to go. We ordered specialty drinks like the cheese foam cold brew (and you can add the specific syrup you want to customize), the tiramisu iced latte which definitely lived up to its name, the pink blossom latte looked pretty in pink, and the pistachio/white chocolate chip scone which ended up being my fave item that day. The scone had a crumbly texture, and was somewhat savory/ not overly sweet. I'd come back for a wrap or sandwich sometime and tea again!
I never have a bad drink here. I am updating my review to show the hot version of the Pink Blossom Latte. It was very decadent, like a sweet treat. The flavors blended well together. Staff are friendly and it's a nice spacious shop.
This is a hidden gem located in Annandale! I went in for a quick to go iced pistachio latte so I didn't stay. The latte was one of the best coffees I've had in NOVA. There aren't alot of places that take the time to make a good coffee that is high quality. It was little pricey but worth it for the taste. The woman who works there was very kind to me as well.
Came here to get a double espresso and it was great. Will definitely be back to get my girlfriend the Matcha Latte as that's her favorite drink
DRINKS I ordered their dulce de leche iced latte (16 oz) for $7+. It's definitely on the pricy side, but for me at least, I was paying for the drink and my time there working from home. Great place to work/study and more! FOOD They offer a variety of sandwiches (e.g. caprese, BLT), pastries (e.g. scones), and other grab-and-go items (e.g. sodas, cookies, bottled waters). AMBIANCE Cafe V is a great place to catch up with friends or work/study. Many outlets are available by each table with a mix of 2-to-6-person tables throughout. It is a great place to get work done, which was the highlight of my trip here for sure. Free Wi-Fi available (password by the register). SERVICE The staff are efficient prepare orders quickly, especially during the morning rush! There are very nice, well-kept bathrooms at the back of the store that is shared with other stores in the complex. PARKING A parking lot with ample spots is available that is shared with neighboring stores.
Came here to work with a few friends. Decent amount of seating. Ordered a large tiramisu latte (3 espresso shots). Latte was good, but expensive--$9.43 with tax. Cashier was flustered taking orders. I already paid and was waiting for her to acknowledge the payment, but then she asked what I wanted to order. Staff was a little aggressive with handing out orders. My friend loved her strawberry croissant though.
I've heard really good reviews about Cafe V, so I wanted to check this spot out for a while. My friend and I stopped by on a Wednesday and it was super busy! There were barely any seats left (and there's a lot of seating here). It has super cozy vibes and a good amount of parking, sharing the lot with 9292 KBBQ, 9292 Pocha & 9292 Shabu. The menu has an abundance of options, ranging from different coffees, teas, and some seltzer drinks. There are light eats as well, such as different toasts and wraps. We ordered a few items: -Cheese Foam Cold Brew w/ caramel syrup -Pink Blossom Latte (iced) - includes cheese foam -Tiramisu Latte (iced) - includes cheese foam -Pistachio & White Chocolate Chip Scone Everything was super delicious and not too sweet, which is always a perk. It's so cozy here, and would definitely come back!
The food offered are sandwiches, and they aren't too spectacular. I personally would eat beforehand but their drinks were quite delicious! I really enjoyed them. We got two iced coffee, flavored tiramisu and dulce de leche. I was surprised but I really enjoyed the tiramisu quite more. The service was prompt and quick. It's definitely a nice place to go and socialize and study at for sure. It's very calm and clean inside. They do have outdoor seating but it's not much.

The best egg tart I have ever had. The custard is soft and light, not overly sweet, and the pastry is so flaky, crispy, and baked all the way through. I had one still warm and had to buy more after devouring it. read more
A cute cafe with lots of seating and a cute vibe! They have a lot of different options on the menu - I tried the iced cinnamon latte. It was sweet and delicious. Their matcha scone was the true kicker - the flavor is bold and the texture of the scone is crunchy on the outside, softer on the inside. It's a great pairing with coffee, and isn't too dry like most scones! read more

The food! Amazing, I had an avocado toast and omg it was like a pizzazzed avocado toast with so much extra stuff on it but it worked and it was amazing, so fresh and good! I also had the cheese foam cold brew, love how strong the taste of coffee is with the sweet and salty foam mmm so good also. The service was friendly and fast. The ambiance was cozy and quiet and welcoming. Love this place I must come back! read more

What a gem of a coffee shop to stumble on after a busy day. Cafe V (pronounced "Vee" for Victoria) has phenomenal coffee, food, and people. The coffee is absolutely incredible and very rich in warmth, taste, and craft. Judie makes beautiful latte art and pastries! We tried 2 of 4 financiers they offer: the fig and the chocolate. Both were delicious and paired very well with our coffees. Sophie is so friendly and wonderful to talk to and we truly enjoyed conversation with her after an afternoon of doctors' visits. We are so excited to come back for our next visit! read more

A new cafe in K town, went there with my wife on a Saturday afternoon. Personally, I think it was ok, and the food and drinks are pretty pricey for what they sell for. The pastry selections were a bit limited and the drinks were good but nothing to bring home about. I ordered a tiramisu latte, my wife got a strawberry cheese latte (honestly, it feels like a strawberry milk) and a financier. I don't know, I just didn't get the hype. Maybe, I'll try again on a different day. read more

Amazing drinks and yummy baked goods. Definitely try the Pink Blossom Latte, Tiramisu Latte, financiers, and egg tarts! The scones and cookies are also massive and full of goodness. The owner is super sweet and the staff are all really friendly. The place also has plenty of parking. They just opened up so they are still decorating, but this will definitely be an awesome go-to hang out spot to grab some coffee and sweets after Korean bbq! read more

What a hidden gem this place is that needs more love from the community! Stopped by on a Saturday afternoon and we were the only customers there. The staff were super friendly and helped guide us through the menu items. We decided on the signature pink blossom latte and the cold brew with cheese foam. Both drinks were amazing! Their cheese foam is made in house and I must say, it's the best I've ever had! The foam adds a nice creamy touch without being overwhelming. If I could order a cup of just the cheese foam, I would!! We also grabbed an earl grey and matcha scone. Both were crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside. There are plenty of parking spaces and seating with outlets. The place is clean, open, and welcoming. Light music plays over the speakers. Bathrooms are also clean. read more

Charming and chic Cafe. We were in town with friends and were in search for some good coffee. We found this place and it didn't disappoint. You are greeted with this wonderful aromatic smell of freshly baked pastries and welcoming smiles from their staff. I ordered their cappuccino and avocado toast. Coffee was on point (it was what I needed that morning) and the avocado toast was delicious. Our friends ordered their breakfast sandwiches which were also delectable. This is a must go to place if you're in the area. The owner is very friendly. She chatted with us to make sure our experience met our expectations. Thank you. read more

With the boycott of Starbucks I've been going to every local coffee shop I can find. Cafe V cappachino is the best I ever had. Always so nice and I love how they don't put the top! The lid messes up the foam and cafe V gets that. The vibe of the store is simple. Not trying too hard yet clean and bright. And best part so many outlets! drive out of my way just to get a cup! read more

I kind of don't want to write this review, so it doesn't get too popular ha! But such a great local place. A perfect spot to work - it's quiet, has ample seating including a long bar-top with outlets, and free WiFi. It's also clean, the staff is super friendly, and everything I've tried is very tasty. The first time we went, on their grand opening a couple months ago, the owner gave us a free sample of the cookies which were delicious, and this visit I had an Earl gray scone which was equally moist and flavorful. There are lots of unique drinks, which is always fun too - I tried the Pink Blossom which was the right amount of sweet and so pretty! Think this will be a weekly stop. read more
Just left this place and had to give them a quick 5 stars. First time visiting, and had a couple drinks since I posted up there for a couple hours studying. First I had a hot Chai Tea, which was really delicious. Also tried their signature Pink Blossom Latte. I'm not a huge espresso fan, but I enjoyed this as well. This is a nice place around back of 9292 that is clean and has a cozy vibe. Really nice staff, and definitely plan on coming back here. read more

Our first time at this cafe, the staff was so kind. The owner is lovely and very passionate about her coffee. The inside of the cafe is so cute and it's all very clean. The drinks were amazing and you can taste each ingredient ever after stirring the coffees. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a unique quality coffee shop. read more

Just had coffee and a scone at Cafe V and it was wonderful. The owner, Ms. Victoria lends her special touch and service to make your visit memorable. Honey cinnamon latte was served hot with just the right amount of sweetness. Drop by you won't be disappointed. By the way, in addition to coffees and fresh pastries, she also serves Bing soo. read more

This cute and very tasty cafe is a gem. It's right next door to the popular 9292 Shaun and 9292 Korean BBQ off of Little River Turnpike but hiding if you're not looking when you drive on Little River Turnpike. I have tried the matcha fancier, egg tart, Earl Grey, chocolate, and cranberry scones. I have not found something that I didn't like. This place has a great bakery and it shows with the taste of the food. People come and go but some stay to meet up with friends, or school mates. It has a variety of people coming to meet in a cozy little place. I just can't get over the food. I also only have tried their Chai Tea Latte. I haven't tried other drinks because the Chai Tea Latte is excellent. A little word of wise, I believe they only bake a handful of items for the day. So, if you plan to come later in the day there will be a limited variety of options for bakery items. I might have already came by and bought a handful to go. read more

What a gem is a spot I found in Annandale. The espresso drinks are DELICIOUS - I'm a coffee snob, so finding this right in amánsale made me so happy. Their pastries are also amazing -not overly sweet , just right. The vibe inside is great for working too. This will definitely be one of my spots to work. read more
