Pretty busy for a Wednesday Morning and even though it appeared to be a one man operation we were served fast! I tried the Turkish breakfast platter which was a lot of food but so good! This is our second time eating here and it was just as good as the first time. great customer service!

Cafe Talya is a hidden gem. The service was great... the coffee mug stayed full and the breakfast was quick and delicious. The owner seemed to be running the place by himself taking order and cooking up on the grill. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The place was cozy and different to a lot of other breakfast spots.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Definitely worth the stop.

We will go back for pancakes! Food wasn't bad but it was way too salty for us. However, service here is crazy good. Our waitress is crazy quick! She's a star. Pancakes were so amazing, a nice amount of fluff and big!

An adorable place to get lunch or breakfast, the food is delicious and cooked right in front of you. The owners are incredibly nice and the service is great. I would highly recommend this cozy local spot for their fresh OJ and their omelettes.

I've eaten here a couple of times over the years and I am always happy with the food and service. The menu has all of the usual diner fare, and a few surprises like the Turkish breakfast. My mushroom and cheddar omelette was very good, including the potatoes; I particularly like that they automatically serve jam with toast. There are not many tables so there usually is a wait, but it goes quick. Service is fast and very warm/friendly so I am bumping up to five stars.

Visited here for the first time today and wow was I impressed. I was greeted by two of the staff who were friendly and knew their customers. Cafe Talya is a small and cozy spot; it's the hospitality plus the delicious menu items that'll keep you coming back! My friend ordered the french toast and I ordered the vegetarian omelet which came with breakfast potatoes and toast. I also ordered a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice as I always have too! Our food came out pretty quick and the portions? Huge for the price! My omelet was cooked to perfection and the breakfast potatoes were crispy. My friend loved her french toast as it came with fruit and whipped cream. I love spots like this and I can't believe I didn't visit sooner. They love their customers and greet each one with a smile. They knew majority by name too. Will be back!

We first ordered take-out from Cafe Tayla a few months back and were hooked! My husband and son have been to Cafe Talya a few times since after hockey practice at Bayonne HS and raved each time about it. So finally I got to sit down to this most excellent food for myself this past weekend. I ordered the original French toast with strawberries and it did not disappoint! So light with just the right touch of cinnamon. Bacon I ordered was crisp and delicious, not greasy at all. My son devoured two orders of silver dollar pancakes and my husband enjoyed his burger and fries. The cafe is small but cozy and inviting. The servers are so friendly and accommodating. We cannot wait to go back. Oh, and the prices are just right too!

Such a hidden gem in Bayonne. Great food, great staff, small space but always accommodating. This is hands down our favorite place to grab breakfast in the area.

Food is absolutely delicious but prices are a little too steep for what you get. Service is hit or miss.

There were plenty of seats available in the restaurant area (where the band plays). Note that there's a separate bar area but if you sit there you won't be able to enjoy the live music. In terms of music there was a duo playing (Chris and Nick) and they were great! They played classic rock, top songs and all the good stuff. I will definitely be back next time they come back to the Vic. I believe they play there on a monthly basis. Service was great as usual. Our waiter (I believe his name is Jason) was super friendly and the waitress who was not serving our table but who remembered us from last time is also very friendly. Food was very tasty. Their Margherita pie is delicious ($13.95 for the large pie) and so is their fries with cheese ($3.95 for the small one which served 2 people well). I paid $10 for a pitcher of beer and my wife $6 for a glass of wine (which they refilled and didn't charge). I wish more people knew about this place because it was a great Friday night, great weather but there wasn't a lot of people there. Not all bands that play there are as good as Chris and Nick but there are some other good bands like Red Rox and a few others. Check their Facebook or Instagram page for the line ups.

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful dinner at Mediterraneo. From the moment we walked in, it felt like stepping back in time but in the most nostalgic, welcoming way.
