I am a current frequenter of Daily Grind. Introduced to me by my work colleagues and my family members, this family owned business that's been around for years has made a mark on my morning breakfast runs! I ordered a bagel and was sitting outside eating with my boyfriend. The employee knew I had ordered, but she rudely questioned my boyfriend, asking if he was going to order something and why he was sitting there. He was clearly there with me while I was eating. My coworkers and I ordered breakfast sandwiches and veggie omelette from here today. Staff was friendly on the phone, didn't rush to take our orders and explained the totals for each meal. Minimum for delivery is $10 which is great! We ordered bacon egg and cheese, veggie omelette and egg whites bacon and egg sandwich. Delivery was quick and our orders were all correct. Hidden gem of a spot (even after many years of being open) which I feel is the best place to go to for breakfast sandwiches in the west side district of jersey city. (if not all of jersey city) They pack on the meat in their sandwiches and for $3, you can't go wrong for breakfast. I've moved closer to this spot so I've been going here for awhile. This place is everything a Jersey deli should be, good fast and cheap. They have a long standing cook " Steady Eddie" who's weekly lunch specials while outrageously good will add an inch or two to your beltline. He is also known as the Jersey city soup Nazi, but not because he's mean just because his soup is that darn good. They are also conveniently located 1 block from the light rail west side station. Today my co-workers decide to order and I say you know what I always say something bad about this skezzy ass place but i need some eggs.. Who can mess up eggs right? PPPPFFFTTTT DAILY GRIND thats who can mess up eggs... I simply ordered two eggs scrambled with swiss cheese. COLD eggs.. mind you they are around the corner from us.. Can't leave work thats why we ordered for delivery... That's not all.. so my co worker orders a sandwich with her eggs over medium (yolk) they could have def wrapped it a lot better.. there was yolk everywhere!!!! even in my container there was f*ing yolk... The good was fast and very affordable. For such a small shop, I was surprised that they accepted cards. They also have lunch specials. My favorite part about this place is that they have both Frank's hot sauce and Sriracha. One thing to keep in mind is that parking is minimal. read more

If you're looking for a quick breakfast this is just the place. I went here at 8:30 am on a Friday and they got me in and out in about 6 minutes! They have a short menu of $3 breakfast sandwiches. A bacon, sausage, and taylor ham w/ egg & cheese on a roll, bagel, or whole wheat toast. They pack that sandwich pretty good and your outta there. They all serve homemade soup and coffee! Daily grind is so amazing!! From something as simple as the butter rolls to the breakfast sandwhiches they offer. I love the wotkers they are very nice, my only issue is the size of the bodega. This bodega is very small so.. if you are eaiting and there are a few people most likely you will wait outside. Waiting on the outside isn't a problem for me but in the winter season a 2 minute wait can feel like 10. Other than that the service, food, and prices are absolutely great. read more

Yelp saved my life.... I was at work starving. Hit the app and came up in daily grind. Called for delivery and ordered Bacon egg n cheese sammich and a sausage Bacon egg n cheese n some fries platter. Delivery was smooth n quick. And the sammich was soooooo good. The platter was decent but I ate it for lunch and wasn't able to reheat it properly so idk how it really is. Ordered again some days later. This time 2 cold sammiches and 2 orders of fries. I really wanted soup and a sammich but they don't serve soup in the summer. I forgot another temper did mention that. Anyhoo sammich and fries were excellent!!! Delivery was quick! I tried to order another time as I wanted to try their lunch specials, but they dont deliver in Saturdays. Ordered again today 2 blt and order of fries. The blt was kinda disappointing.
