Delicious! Paninis and salads are awesome. I love the creamy tomato and basil soup. They have healthy options, including dairy free, gluten free, meat free. The desserts are wonderful, too :) Some people are discouraged by the fact that they have a healthy food reputation, but trust me the food is great. The staff is attentive. The food is first rate. I like the citrus flavored waters. I have yet to have a bad meal there. My only surprise was having to declare what I would tip, prior to having the service rendered. My understanding is that tips are dispensed based on the quality of the services rendered, and need to be determined after the service is either rendered sufficiently or not. read more

I can't believe no one has reviewed this place yet! Small businesses need our help to spread the word. I love this place! It's veggie and vegan friendly, and was a god-send during my business trip. I had the Mr. Roboto salad and beet soup. Both were delicious, and the proportions were right. I love that this place grows their own herbs right in the window. They also flavor their waters with lemon or lime and chilies. They have an extensive salad and panini menu, as well as HUGE slabs of fresh pie if you're feeling decadent. All in all, this place is great and the staff is friendly. 4 stars. read more

Slaw was excellent. Beet salad was excellent. The yummy healthy options were abundant. My portabello panini was delicious but the bread could have been better. It's just kind of flat in terms of flavor. That's the only criticism. Really liked this place. read more

This place is my go-to for the most delicious and fresh handmade salads and sandwiches in town. If I had an unlimited budget I would seriously eat here every day. You simply cannot find more creative, fresh salads anywhere. The portions are more than plenty and I have never had anything less than amazing here. Love that they are always consistently great. Everyone had the same "is that our food??" look when the ONE server came out with orders in piecemeal (I hate when a party's order comes out staggered.) I wish that this rating could be better. But on a few occasions in the past 6-12 months I have ordered to go items that the staff has forgotten about. It's when they're not busy and the cashier is chatting and watching me sit/stand waiting for my order. Customers who come in after me get their orders. I generally remind them after already waiting 30 mins for a drink and then have to wait more while they make it. I won't be back. read more

I really loved this place and I go there quite a bit. But lately, it's just meh. I don't know what changed, but my experience at breakfast just wasn't great this time. Some of the potatoes were burned, not just crunchy, and the middle of my savory dutch baby was not cooked quite enough. And the coffee tasted scorched. I'm fine with paying these prices if the food is worth it, but this time it was very disappointing. Also, PLEASE do something about your dishwasher. The water glasses are always dirty. read more

Great, super great cafe. We stopped in wanting a light healthy lunch with big flavour and were not disappointed. My son had a salad that had a crisp island feel. Fresh spinach, toasted coconut, mandarin oranges, sweet honey mustard dressing, was the bomb. My daughter had the bacon, avocado chicken breast panini that was packed with flavour. I had the combo, same sandwich with a beet salad that was great. They also had flavoured waters. Only thing holding me to a 4 and not 5 is the beets would be better if lightly pickled for more flavour and not so bland. Nice job guys, we will be back. read more

If you love vegan or vegetarian meal options, organic fresh foods, salads this place is for you. To me however it was not super amazing, the food sadly was not fulfilling to my palette or stomach. The soup I ate had a grainy texture that I found appealing, though my counterpart who shared the meal with me found it most delightful. I also found it strange that they had no fountain drinks, just bottled and canned, being more expensive. The best thing was the bathroom where you could write on the walls with provided chalk of your choice. Other than that my experience was flat and I was ready to hit the road. Though for many who happen to like this type of food and food environment, I'm sure will love it, I however will not be back so soon. read more

I would do 3.5 stars if I could. I had the Cafe Sol salad and split pea soup. I added portobello mushrooms to the salad and they were very good. The soup was fine, nothing to write home about. All in all, if you're looking for soup, salad, a sandwich, or a combo of the aforementioned, this place is fine for a casual lunch. That said, I'd probably skip it on my next visit to GJ. read more

This place is mouth watering! My family visited Grand Junction for 6 days and we went here twice because it was so good! It has the best gluten free paninis and soups! An early flight into GJT afforded some time for lunch and on the recommendation of friends, made my way to Main Street. I arrived a few minutes before their opening and found several others waiting: always a good sign! Loved the fresh herbs growing in the window but better yet was the variety of soups, salads, sandwiches and desserts. I finally decided on the amazing Blue Fig Salad and the best panini(turkey, Brie and jalepeño) I have ever had! My lunch companion absolutely loved the Chicken and Guacamole Panini and we were both happily surpriseed to find a nice offering of wine and beer. The atmosphere was open, vibrant and fun but most importantly, the food was super! Fresh, locally grown ingredients prepared by a chef who obviously has a passion for food because everything we saw being served made us wish were were staying in Grand Junction longer!!! Family stopped in for lunch today on our way through Grand Junction. Was happy to see they had gluten free options as some of the former reviews stated. Even happier that the GF options were actually really good. Had the GF club panini. Whatever bread they are using is delicious. Small Cobb salad was also really good and fairly big serving.
