Vanilla Chai
Josh M.

Everything here was absolute perfection. We had the Local Chai, a Dirty Chai, the Portuguese Benedict, and the Flank Steak Benedict -- every single dish and drink was thoughtfully prepared and so flavorful. The chai was smooth and spiced just right, the Dirty Chai had the perfect espresso kick, and both benedicts were spot on -- rich, balanced, and beautifully plated with crispy potatoes on the side. The outdoor seating was quiet, calm, and relaxing, making it the perfect spot to enjoy brunch. Service was fast, kind, and genuinely attentive without ever feeling rushed. This is the kind of place you immediately want to come back to -- warm drinks, creative food, a peaceful atmosphere, and staff that makes you feel welcome. Easily one of the best breakfast/brunch spots around.

Although there were plenty of parties waiting for a table we decided to put our names on the list and when we walked up, since it was only two of us we actually got seated right away! Fresh orange juice, friendly service and a good savory breakfast. It was a great start to the day! On our way out we even stopped by the pastry case and snagged a couple of cookies to-go!

The food was absolutely delicious! Great service and fair prices. I'll definitely be coming back.

Prego sandwich with kettle chips

Outstanding service, friendly & welcoming, super cozy vibes and great food. What more could you ask for?! On this particular trip my husband is fasting so he just ordered coffee and inquired about the soup of the day. He explained to our server that he was fasting & she shared the ingredients of the soup (spaghetti squash, onions, coconut milk, puréed) so he could make an informed decision. Then she brought us a sample of the soup to try, which was so kind. I ordered the Prego sandwich, which consists of marinated steak, onions and cheese on their homemade bread which was so hearty, super tasty and the steak was perfectly sliced so that it was easy to eat. It was the perfect warm sandwich for a cold winter day! I look forward to trying out their breakfast offerings next!

Balsamic Strawberry Chicken Sandwich

The Balsamic Strawberry Chicken Sandwich! So fresh and delicious! That's the review! Okay yes the sandwich was incredible. Also the place was popping, (it was a weekend during brunch time, so to be expected) but we were sat quickly and our server was super nice and attentive! Quite a large venue with indoor and outdoor seating available! Definitely will be back and I'm likely ordering that sandwich again!

Bourbon Chai. Flakes of dried flowers on top

First time visit. Saw a bourbon chai and ordered it warm. Excellent. Had the chicken white bean stew. As expected , Not a lot of flavor but very well done and presented. Prices r very reasonable and will return to try the spicier food. A lot of interesting food items on the menu. The bakery items looked awesome, but I am trying to stay away from wheat.

What a yummy place for breakfast! If you are staying in Sunriver, I highly recommend coming here with your group - it was spacious, brightly lit, and very family friendly. The vibe is a little "country chic" with the decor, and lots of table options (picnic-style table, round wooden table, square metal tables) When you first walk in, you are greeted with some amazing looking GIANT pastries! They looked so good so we got some to go after breakfast- can confirm that they taste just as good as they look. We got the cream croissant with fresh strawberries, chocolate croissant, and the cinnamon roll that's about the size of my face (if not bigger!) They give you warm toasted olive bread with this very delicious raspberry jam to share for the table. Our group got a variety of drinks and food entrees and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. My flank steak Benedict egg was the perfect runny and potatoes were crispy and well-seasoned. Our waitress was friendly and attentive too. Overall we had a really great breakfast here and definitely will return the next time we are in the area!

Toast and raspberry jam

If I could, I would give Cafe Sintra 3.5 stars for this breakfast and I will likely be back to try lunch. Good, cozy vibe in the restaurant with ample seating at 9:30 on a Wednesday in the summer. Good service. The menu has good options--something for everyone. My somewhat-vegetarian daughter and I always feel like breakfast is too much food, so we shared the Vendura Benedict. We like avocado and tomatoes and spinach and who doesn't love a good Benny?! Honestly, it was just okay. I could have made it at home. Nothing special. In fact, given that tomatoes are in season, how can you justify pale tomatoes? The English muffin was a nonentity. The toast was interesting and I liked it. It had a peppery flavor which I found interesting with the raspberry jam. Again, disappointingly meh, but I think worth giving another shot.

Half Sandwich & Salad

During our stay in Sunriver Resort, we wanted a light lunch after a morning at the pool and Cafe Sintra was perfect. I ordered a half sandwich with sautéed spinach, mushrooms, Swiss and more and it was delicious. The half salad was an avocado caprese and well made and tasty. We also enjoyed a bottle of vino verde for a reasonable price. Our server was prompt and friendly and the inside of the restaurant was casual and charming. I would recommend these sandwiches if you are in Sunriver.

Excellent breakfast choice. Benedicts, French toast and pancake trio were all hits. Eggs were poached to perfection.

That's really the only factor I can point to that's remotely negative but also not complaining it's an observation. I see after being there why this works for the restaurant. You order at the counter, get a number, and then sit. Since it was our first time, we wanted to look over the menu, but we ended up just going with the specials -- and honestly, they were incredible. We had a unique and delicious Portuguese sausage biscuits‑and‑gravy dish with bacon on the side, and the other plate was an eggs benedict on an amazingly light, airy muffin with tomato, perfectly poached eggs, and a Portuguese sausage link, plus potatoes. Our plates were spotless by the end. The house iced tea was also a standout -- infused with fruit and specialty tea, but without actual fruit pieces in the cup. It tasted elevated and refreshing. I also ordered a cinnamon‑cardamom coffee, which was divine. Next time -- because there will be a next time -- we're thinking of sharing the special of the day and getting a spread of fresh pastries. Highly recommend.
