Wow. An amazing experience. By sheer luck, we managed to get a reservation for 10 people directly on the day of (tried many times before for the smaller groups and never succeeded). First, the wine list is between spectacular and amazing - the selection is excellent, but what makes the list amazing are prices, which are more than fair (a bottle of tasty Italian white for $30 at a restaurant? yes, please! ) Food was delicious too. We shared a few appetizers - stuffed mushrooms were excellent, fried artichokes - excellent, roasted peppers with white anchovies (similar or the same as Spanish boquerones) - superb. I had cavatelli with mushrooms as a main course, and it was very tasty. My wife had short rib which was perfectly cooked and delicious. Great service - prompt, friendly, attentive. Most highly recommended.

The restaurant was fully packed with guests. We were seated a few minutes after our reservation time. There was no waiting area, very crammed. Despite this, the staff at the entrance area were welcoming and friendly. The food was absolutely incredible. The portion sizes were very large, so absolutely go there with an appetite. We ordered a few apps, entrees, and desserts. You cannot go wrong with anything on that menu. A huge selection.

The service was great! The food came out fresh, and everyone had recommendations. The fettuccine was 10/10. The dish was flavorful. The calamari was also delicious. The batter was seasoned and the red sauce had a little spice. Make sure you make a reservation because the tables were full the entire night. Great for a date night, birthday dinner or just getting some good food.

Wow...just wow!!! I love Italian food...but I'm not sure if I knew what REALLY great Italian food was until dining here. This place blew my mind with their Pork Osso Bucco with Saffron Risotto. The pork literally fell off the bone, and the saffron rissoto was creamy and bursting with flavor. I could have eaten the rissoto all on its own. The Fettuccine Mascarpone was delicious as well! Pasta was cooked to aldente perfection, and the sauce was creamy and light. We paired the meal with the house malbec, which complimented the flavors very well. The meal started off with fresh bread, olive oil, and an interesting side dish of muzed veggies/beans. Being that there were only two of us, we opted to go straight into the entrées. I will say, the menu itself had some super enticing appetizers. However, 2 entrées between the two of us was plenty! The quality of the food along with the portion size....absolutely insane! Food aside, the service was phenomenal. Despite it being fully packed on a Saturday night, our waitress made sure to check in frequently and offered great suggestions. As for the ambiance, the place was super charming. It was dimly lit, packed with tables. Managed to have both a family-friendly and romantic vibe. Definitely appeared to be a local favorite. If you are ever in the area, I highly recommend coming here. You absolutely will not leave disappointed. Although...beware....your expectations for good Italian will forever be changed.

No. They can hardly host a table of 6.

No classic family run Italian Wine Only-- GREAT food

The low light ambiance and music was definitely giving adults-only vibes. What I really liked was being able to talk and hear because the volume level of the music was just right. He had quite a friendly and genuine demeanor about him (sorry, I don't remember his name but he wore glasses and had dark hair). The margarita pizza, wine, and desserts (didn't have lava cake so I tried their chocolate mousse) were delightful to indulge. We also received a complimentary drink of choice on the house just because! I will definitely be coming back again and hope to bring other colleagues along for the Quartiere experience.

We started with some mocktails that were very good and the apple & pear salad that was also good. Our waitress also brought us some complimentary bread and herb butter. All good. But when my entree came it was so disappointing. I ordered the hanger steak cook medium. It was cooked to temp but had to be the chewiest steak Ive ever had. The steak knife wouldnt even cut through it. The knife basically ripped the steak apart. It also came with the largest broccolini I have ever seen. It was basically broccoli but ultimately was under cooked for how large the stalks were. I did try the desserts but they looked good.

The space is not all that big, but is cozy (also helps that the front opens up toward the outdoor seating area). Service: The staff are pretty friendly and the service speed is decent. There was a guy with a shirt saying "Big Mike" who seemed to constantly be monitoring the place which was a bit odd but I suppose he was just the boss keeping tabs on his restaurant. Overall: Average quality food but nice Italian-inspired environment. Would recommend if you are in the Stamford area and interested in Italian food.

We got there and sat down immediately. Service was nothing special, but the waiter was pleasant. I ordered the lunch special smash burger, which was very tasty. The pizza was very good as well, but when it came to the dessert (cheesecake and chocolate gelato), they weren't that good and left a bad aftertaste. We asked our waiter if it could be taken off the menu, so he went to get the manager. The manager came to the table and explained why we should like the desserts and that no one complains since the chefs are from Brooklyn and the cheesecake is made in-house. He was very reluctant to take these items off the menu. Everyone has different palates, so why are you talking as if I'm supposed to like it since everyone else does? This didn't sit well with me, and the vibe was off from there. We liked the food, but it wasn't worth the hype around it. Our waiter was still pleasant through it all.
