Fast, friendly service. Good food. Unique ambiance. We stopped in after the Tour of Utah. Really enjoyed the food. We were seated upstairs which was a little disappointing because it didn't allow us to enjoy the full ambiance of this cute little restaurant. That didn't have an effect on the quality of the service we received though. We were promptly seated and drinks came quickly. We ordered in great time and received our food quickly. The food was great. I had a bean tostada and a cheese enchilada and really enjoyed them both. My son had chicken enchiladas and really liked his meal as well. We'll definitely give it another shot. read more

I love this place. Service is always great....food is even better. I was disappointed to find out they put oil in their mild salsa so now I have to bring my own, and sometimes the portion sizes are not consistent (although they claim it's all pre portioned...ya, by someone's hand and a guess lol). This was my first time eating at the Logan Cafe Sabor. I've tried their food at the fair and the location in Bear Lake. But I'll leave this review strictly for the Logan location. The service was perfect. Everyone was friendly and our waiter, Justin, was quick and remembered everything we asked. The special was 2 for $15 fajitas. They weren't bad but they weren't spectacular either. The vegetables were nicely grilled, the guac was delicious, the salsa is pretty good. The quantity was just right. The meat was just a bit bland. I will definitely hit up Cafe Sabor in the future and try another item. This special was definitely worth the price and would love getting it again. read more

Been there twice because friends of mine wanted to go. First of all, the floors were greasy and dirty. They were to freaking cheap to turn on the air-conditioner. The restaurant was super hot, making the employees and guests sweaty and uncomfortable. They try to make it look like they are serving you freshly made tortillas by taking pre-made tortillas and warming them up in front of you. This place is a total fraud when it comes to food. Both times I went ,the food was terrible. It seems like they they put absolutely no passion or thought into their food. The Mole was absolutely terrible and amateur. It was so bad that I refused to pay for it after one bite. I have no idea why this place gets so much business. The Locals who eat here seem absolutely clueless, when it comes to good food. The only good thing about this place is the old train depot it's in. Save your money, and eat at one of the hole in the wall authentic mexican restaurants in town. read more

I absolutely love the Arroz Con Pollo. They also have a crazy good deal everyday between 4-6 for early dine where you get two burritos, two sodas, and a delicious fried ice cream for $15. I can't believe I forgot to mention the carne asada, it is the best meal you can get in Logan. read more

Simply the best Mexican food in Northern Utah. We love this place and the one in Bear Lake. One of our family favorites for sure.

I think this might be the most overrated restaurant in Logan. The worst feeling in the world for me is being mid-meal at a place and realizing I'm spending $12 on a dish I could have made at home in a few hours for a fraction of the price. Sabor is a classic example of this. While some of the dishes I tried there were truly tasty, nothing justified the price tag. And the service was really off. There was NO ONE there when we went but the server kept trying to speed us through the process - asking us if we wanted dessert when we had barely finished the appetizer, bringing the check super early, checking to see if we were done over and over again, etc. Save your money and look elsewhere! read more

First, they lost their liquor license (again), which we didn't realize until after we sat down. Second, without a margarita (the only reason to really go to Sabor), I ordered a seltzer, which came mostly flat (I am not even sure how they managed that). Third, I ordered carne asada tacos, which came "enchilada style," the tortillas smothered in sauce? What? My partner ordered fish tacos which were equally bad. Finally, one thing Sabor always had going for it (other than margaritas) was its beautiful decor. It is still nice, but they put in booths in one room, which really takes away from the classic restaurant in an old train station look they had going. Just one more step toward being a completely generic Tex-Mex (my Texan friends would be horrified at calling this Tex-Mex) restaurant. read more

As a local to Logan, Utah, I've eaten at this restaurant a number of times. Every time I go, I have an enjoyable time with family and friends. But after a recent experience, I don't know if I'll ever go back again. A friend and I made a reservation for her mother's surprise birthday party. Someone went to decorate the place for us ahead of time, however when they got there, they didn't have a room reserved for us like we had asked. Luckily, the upstairs room hadn't been reserved for that evening, but the staff seemed confused and frantic as they tried to get us settled into the other room. The room ended up being very cramped with how many people arrived, but we were just grateful we got the room nonetheless. The surprise went well, and she nearly toppled over in shock when she everyone jumped out of their hiding spots. After many "happy birthday"s, we sat and ordered our meals. I ordered the chicken fajitas with no beans, which was priced at $13.50. I thought it was a bit more expensive than I would have loved, but I assumed that the fajitas would come out of the kitchen and make my mouth water at that price. However, when they placed the plate down in front of me, I was slightly disappointed by the condiments scattered all over and the lack of chicken. I finally found THREE small pieces of chicken underneath a pile of onions and tomatoes. But the terrible part of the experience didn't come until later that night when my stomach was in twists and I spent that night right next to the toilet. I was out the next 3 days with a fever, queasy stomach, and hate for chicken fajitas. Don't recommend. read more

Cafe Sabor is my go-to restaurant when going to lunch with friends. Their chips and salsa are awesome and I havn't tried anything I didn't like there. Speciality drinks are awesome. The only thing I would change is the customer service could be improved a little. read more

Their Gift cards are The epitome of tackiness. I bought a gift card for some clients I just sold a Bear Lake Cabin to, so they could use it at the Cafe Sabor in Garden City. I bought the card at the Cafe Sabor in Logan. I got it home and went to put it into a card for my clients and it looked as though it had been in someone's wallet for 20 years. I thought it was a mistake. I called and asked about it and asked that it be replaced with a new card. I was told "It still works". I don't know how they do gifts, but the ones I give are new. I drove through the blizzard to pickup the new card. I asked the gal if it was new, she said 'yes, it is'. I walked back to my car in the blizzard and thought I would take a closer look before I drove back to my office. She lied, That one Too was used, however more gently. Again I went back and asked the Manager to replace it with a new card. Apparently all the staff think it is okay to give used gifts, especially to one's business clients. I am appalled. He finally came back and said 'no we don't have any new cards, these ones cost $2.50 apiece and Hamilton's has the new ones, well I think we all know it takes money to make money, and frankly I don't care what their cost is per card (and why would they tell me that anyway?). Because I had already mentioned to my clients I would be purchasing that for there home closing gift, I went home, washed it, sanitized it and dried the 'Used' gift card and then wrote a note of apology to my clients clarifying why the card was in the condition it was in. I am curious when someone orders these online...do they get 'used' gift cards as well? As I stated in my first sentence, that is the epitome of tackiness. The best thing about the place is they serve drinks, which you need after getting burned buying a 'new' gift card. What an embarrassment, they should be ashamed. read more

Very impressed with the service at Cafe Sabor. I've been coming here since I was a kid down in Logan to visit my sister while she was in college. It's been years, and I still come back over and over again. The spinach artichoke dip is to die for, and just to name a few; the Pollo Durango and the Arroz con Pollo are two of my favorite dishes! We went to Café Sabor, as we WERE regulars, but this has definitely changed. I had the sizzling(?) fajitas. my husband had a chili relleno. My fajitas were not sizzling, just sitting there in a tasteless sauce, I had asked for no green peppers, so they put in red ones! My husbands relleno was so tough he could hardly cut it with a knife. Service is also non existent there now, we were one of 4 people in the restaurant and it still took our waitress over 10 minutes to get our drinks and chips. We used to always buy a container of salsa to go for home, but not anymore, it was watery and tasteless. This was probably our last trip to this place, as this was the second time we have had such bad service, but decided to give them another try. Not again! read more

I am right there with the other reviews! It's so-so! I keep going back but then remember the food is expensive and it's really not the best quality! Not only that but the table and menus are always really sticky and leave me feeling dirty! It's fun to sit out on the patio though in the summer! read more
