This place is the bomb! I rarely leave reviews but eating here is an orgasmic experience! Every dish is unbelievable!

Excellent!!! First time dining here this evening and I can't wait to return. The casual but cozy atmosphere is comfortable, but the food is what makes this place a true charmer. Ordered the caprese salad to start. For mid-winter this was about as good as my homemade version in the peak of tomato season in the summer. The lentil soup was perfect! I am a very healthy eater so it's very seldom that I can find a restaurant where I feel I'm eating healthy. This place is definitely top of my list. The eggplant parmesan was delicious!! If I hadn't already eaten so much, I would have devoured it. The good news is that now I have a fabulous lunch tomorrow! The only downfall here is that they're only open 2 nights out of the week. I will have to try them for lunch, but know I can't eat all the generous portions they provide. Definitely a new favorite on my list. read more

From dining in to carrying out to big lunch catering orders - Cafe Roma never disappoints us. The food is always fresh, delicious and seasoned perfectly. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this little cafe. We came for lunch -- the hours are irregular, definitely double check the hours before heading to Cafe Roma. I ordered a side Caesar salad, one of the specials, a gnocchi in an incredible vodka cream sauce $ the tiramisu. I also sampled the home made chicken noodle soup, which was nice, but not anything to get excited about. The biggest let down was the tiramisu. Some pieces were way too wet and then others tasted a little dry, and overall I found the coffee flavor a little overwhelming. On to the good parts of the meal, the gnocchi were okay; they're pretty huge and the consistency was t as pillowy and light as I would have liked but the sauce was definitely a very redeeming factor. You can also add protein for an up charge. All entrees are arced with a nice slice of cheesy garlic bread -- what could be bad about that? The salad was also really nice and fresh tasting. And I also ordered ice tea which was served with lemon and a sprig of mint; the garnish made the beverage feel surprisingly fancy for a mid-day iced tea in the dead of winter. :) Recommended if you're in the area & crave a good Italian meal. read more

This is tucked away in an office park. By the location we assume mostly a lunch business but not sure. It was busy for lunch for sure I had the spicy Italian sausage sandwich and salad. The dressing was good oil and vinegar with a hint of raspberry. I think The sausage was a little over cooked for my taste but was tasty. The bun was soggy with the juices of the peppers tomatoes and onions. This is fine with me but note that a knife and fork are much better than your hands for this one read more

Cafe Roma is so unassuming and a hidden gem tucked away in a business park. How lucky if you work near! The adorable Cafe has indoor and outdoor seating. Food is always pleasing and for getting some fresh food at the right price, I've been here more than once. Go Roma! read more

Great place we found only by Yelp reviews. Wouldn't have known it was there otherwise. Hidden back in an office park, they do a good job of guiding you back to it from Randall Road with small marker signs. The portions were quite large and the pasta was terrific! I had dinner here for the first time tonight. I ordered the chicken limone and was very disappointed in the sauce - it was brown and sweet. I order this dish out frequently and this sauce was just not good. I scraped off the sauce and transferred the chicken and potatoes to a new plate. Two bites in, I find something black and hard in the potatoes, about the size of a half- dollar. The chef states it's part of a rotten potato - yuck. The flavor without the sauce and the rotten potato was delicious, would have rated this restaurant higher with a better experience. read more

This place is consistently great. The Padrone pizza is amazing, in my opinion it beats any local thin crust pizza in the area. I have tried them all, grew up in chicago so I know my pizza. My wife loves the chicken marsala and even the beef sandwich is amazing. It doesn't end there, the Panna Cotta desert is also amazing!!! If you haven't had that before i like to describe it as Italian flan. Sometimes they have the creme bruelle. Also need to mention the service is always friendly and attentive. The only knock on this place is that it's small and it's location is a bit hidden with all the hotels and the corporate offices around. Once you find its a jem! Have never had a meal here I did not enjoy! Love the side salad that comes with the meal and the vinagrette dressing is the best in the world!!! Only thing I would change is the serving staff. There have been several times that I have had to wait for my salad - I was "overlooked". I could let it go and not mention it if it happened once, but 3 times is a bit much. The gal serving each time seemed more concerned with her appearance and locating herself behind the bar. I go back for the food....which is stellar. read more

This restaurant is so incredibly good! The atmosphere is modern yet cozy and would definitely be a great date night spot. Service was smooth and attentive. The chef and owner even came out to ask patrons how everything was. The food is spectacular. I ordered the mussels marinara as an appetizer but it would have been enough for dinner. It came with some lovely toasted Italian bread to dip in the rich, spicy sauce. The mussels were plump and fresh and perfectly cooked. I had a Cesar salad which was included with my entrée and it was without a doubt the best Cesar salad I have had in my life. My son had the house salad and it was a lovely mix of greens with a nice Italian dressing. Everything is homemade. Even the croutons. For dinner I had the fettuccine alfredo. To die for. The pasta was perfect, the richness of the sauce delicate and literally perfect. My son had a ten inch pizza and it was amazing. The crust was out of this world. Friday 16 February, my visit for lunch was not good. My choice was the Cod fish special. The serving is the worst I have had for Cod. The fish serving was three thin cut small triangular pieces of fish, less than 1/4 thickness sandwiched between two layers of thick batter which were very over done. I really don't believe the fish was Cod. No human could slice Cod to that thickness and leave "silver skin" on the surface. The fish was not Cod and may have been Bluegill or Sunfish. I have Never seen Cod like this. (you can disprove this if I received a DNA report.) It was nasty tasting since all I could taste was the burnt batter. I had peeled of the Batter and was left with Fish Scraps to eat. YUK For $10.50 I expected two pieces of thick perfectly fried cod pieces. Has anyone ever seen Cod cut into slices 1/4" thick? This was a Giant disappointment for a restaurant I enjoy. I told the server that I did not like the Cod and I received $5 off for my trouble. If you say you are serving Cod, make sure it is Cod someone can eat. read more

I have been going here for lunch since it opened. Food is always fantastic. Service can be spotty. They have experimented with a few different styles of serving - counter order, order at the table etc. Seems like they are getting it down but need more "polish" . One example: I do not like my flatware placed on a bare table when it is going to be in my mouth. When taking away my salad plate the waitress grabbed my fork with her hand and sat it on the table for me to use for my next course. She then acted very put out when I asked for new, clean flatware. This and a few other wait staff issues keep me from giving more stars. But the food really is great!! read more
