If you wanna try shisha this is a really nice place, you can either sit Inside or outside. Some of the flavors the offerd were peppermint, orange, liqurice, apple and strawberry/vanilla. The staff comes by your table to swap out the coal on the shisha for you several times during your stay. We didn't eat anything this time but we are surely going to come back soon. There were only a few vegetarian options, a couple of salads and one pasta dish. I ordered the Goat Cheese Salad, which was really just okay. The dressing wasn't especially flavorful and was mostly just oily. There were a variety of vegetables as well as a whole lot of walnuts in the dish. The goat cheese was actually not in the salad, but melted onto little roasts served on top. It was rather unremarkable tasting. My friend goes here all the time and loves this cafe, but I didn't think it was anything special. Maybe it would have appealed to me more if the vegetarian options had been better. I did, however, enjoy a tasty latte with my lunch! The atmosphere is open and relaxed with high ceilings and finely set tables. Two of the walls are made just of glass, so there is a lot natural light, at least when the Danish clouds part and allow the rare sun to shine through.

We shared the passionfruit buckthorn (a bestseller, sounds exotic & tastes divine) + key lime pie (with a hefty + heavenly layer of torched meringue). You really can't go wrong with any of them: I just as easily could have downed the nougat espresso or coconut or homestyle apple pie or carrot cake oh please take me back. We got the coffee (chai lattes included if that's more yo style) + cake special for 64 kr. I know it sounds on the pricey side but there are so many factors goin' for it: the slices are humonnngous, the presentation is lovely (the pistachio crumbles were a nice touch), and the beans are top notch (my americano was supa smooth). Service warm as well - from the patient baristas (ours walked over to the front of the display to patiently explain every glorious flavor of pie) to André himself seeing us out, we felt welcome the whole duration of our stay (+ free tap water & wifi wassup). This place is an absolute gem. Go to Helsingør for the castle & stay for the cake.
