Shukran Laziza. We arrived in Malmo on a Sunday afternoon. After checking into our hotel we…read morerealized we were quite hungry, but unfortunately a lot of food establishments we looked up were showing up closed until we saw Laziza was near our hotel and showing up as open. I personally am not a fan of buffets but my husband is Lebanese-Armenian & doesn't mind buffets & always wants Lebanese food when it's an option. I was a little apprehensive when we walked in because the hostess & waitresses were Swedish, but then I heard Arabic music & noticed the staff coming in/out of the kitchen to stock the food was speaking Arabic so I knew the food would be ok. My favorite items were the wrapped grape leaves & mini desserts. My grandmother & aunts used to make a lot of the same desserts so the flavors were very nostalgic & comforting. I can also appreciate how they had managed to make tiny delicate bite sized portions of each. I was impressed by that because these desserts are so intricate & difficult to make so making them into tinier pieces can't be easy. We had a lovely meal at Laziza and enjoyed our visit.

I often dine at Laziza Baltzarsgatan and Dockan because they have great food. Today (20th May 2022)…read moreat Dockan, I brought 2 guests with me from abroad and we came in at 11:08 Table 25. One of the guests was finishing food at 12:10 when we were approached by the waitress telling that the restaurant has 1 hr dine-in policy. Then the same waitress came back after 2 minutes telling me that "I have guests waiting outside." I was never aware of this policy and if this is a new one, no one told us at the cashier (By the way, the lady at the cashier was more accommodating). I was embarrassed that we were the only table and customers treated that way. This is frustrating that the waitress at Dockan branch was mainly targetting us and I was embarassed by this attitude with other customers looking at us. Also, we found that seats outside were available. I hope that the restaurant can look into this and train the staff to communicate properly with guests. Your food is no doubt highly recommended and other staff were warm and polite. However, this waitress telling us customers (who were obviously chewing last spoonful of food and the other having coffee) to leave the place twice in a span of 2 minutes was very rude. We left the place around 12:15.

We came here because I bought tipster coupon for dinner for two here…read more This place is not a restaurant, more like a cafe. It is very cozy with Moroccan style decoration, lots of candles, pillows on sofas and everything. The food was great, but there wasn't much choice for the warm food, we got the samosa (I got beef, and my boyfriend got vegetarian, since the server claimed they ran out of beef (at 6pm, really?)) on a plate with couscous, chickpeas, red beets and some yoghurt salad. Apart from that it was cold (I am not used to eating cold dinner), everything was actually quite delicious. Since I only paid for the drinks, I wouldn't know if the price is worth the dinner, but then again, don't expect full menu of warm food like in other "Arabic" place, but still it's a cozy place to hang out if you're into these kind of food.

We walked in to get breakfast on a Saturday morning in late February, no one else was inthere,…read moreexcept for the waitress. We asked her if we should just seat ourselves, to which she nodded yes in reply. We sat and waited for her to come and provide us with a menu but she had turned to her phone and lost all interest in us. We waited for about five minutes and just couldn't be bothered anymore. Instead we went to a cute little café across the street. One star because I couldn't give none!
