Shukran Laziza. We arrived in Malmo on a Sunday afternoon. After checking into our hotel we realized we were quite hungry, but unfortunately a lot of food establishments we looked up were showing up closed until we saw Laziza was near our hotel and showing up as open. I personally am not a fan of buffets but my husband is Lebanese-Armenian & doesn't mind buffets & always wants Lebanese food when it's an option. I was a little apprehensive when we walked in because the hostess & waitresses were Swedish, but then I heard Arabic music & noticed the staff coming in/out of the kitchen to stock the food was speaking Arabic so I knew the food would be ok. My favorite items were the wrapped grape leaves & mini desserts. My grandmother & aunts used to make a lot of the same desserts so the flavors were very nostalgic & comforting. I can also appreciate how they had managed to make tiny delicate bite sized portions of each. I was impressed by that because these desserts are so intricate & difficult to make so making them into tinier pieces can't be easy. We had a lovely meal at Laziza and enjoyed our visit. read more

I often dine at Laziza Baltzarsgatan and Dockan because they have great food. Today (20th May 2022) at Dockan, I brought 2 guests with me from abroad and we came in at 11:08 Table 25. One of the guests was finishing food at 12:10 when we were approached by the waitress telling that the restaurant has 1 hr dine-in policy. Then the same waitress came back after 2 minutes telling me that "I have guests waiting outside." I was never aware of this policy and if this is a new one, no one told us at the cashier (By the way, the lady at the cashier was more accommodating). I was embarrassed that we were the only table and customers treated that way. This is frustrating that the waitress at Dockan branch was mainly targetting us and I was embarassed by this attitude with other customers looking at us. Also, we found that seats outside were available. I hope that the restaurant can look into this and train the staff to communicate properly with guests. Your food is no doubt highly recommended and other staff were warm and polite. However, this waitress telling us customers (who were obviously chewing last spoonful of food and the other having coffee) to leave the place twice in a span of 2 minutes was very rude. You've got to the this place when in Malmö! I can't say I've ever visited a Lebanese restaurant before, but I will again! Laziza's buffet is as delicious as it is gorgeous. Lunch time here is packed and cozy! The staff quite friendly. And the food is plentiful. So many sauces to go along with your pita, pickled things, meats and salads. I got take away twice on the same day so as to have more for our family member who was away working during the lunch visit. Just go! read more

Laziza is the place to go if you like to eat Lebanese at lunch without breaking the bank. Considering the fact it is a buffet, Laziza's lunch/brunch offer is one of the best available in Malmö and its close vicinity. That is if you like to eat fresh and somewhat healthy food! The restaurant is huge and moderately oriental perhaps little more colors would have made it even warmer: the walls are too whitey or brighty Laziza!. Considering the fact it is just a luch/brunch restaurant in Malmö/Sweden it still manages to be quite charming and offers a nice dinning atmosphere! The kitchen offers 24 cold dishes and 8 hot; the usual suspects are such dishes as tabbouleh, baba ghanouj, muhammara, falafel, samosas, stuffed grape leaves and kebabs! Laziza varies the dishes by changing and replacing them on a weekly/randomly basis. They all good but the cold dishes with carefully sliced, crunchy fresh and well-seasoned vegetables/dairy products are even better! The problem with the hot dishes is more to the nature of a buffet than kitchen mischiefs. Take falafel for instance, its tastiest when is just out of the fryer and at a buffet is hard to do them justice! The moderate price and the large selection of fresh food make Laziza one of the best lunches available in Malmö. In fact if you love salads or vegetarian Laziza is a major contender; they offer a buffet of fresh greens and herbs for the price not that much higher than others will give you just a salad. read more

Out of this world Mediterranean food! Very affordable and delicious...best bargain in Malmo. Fresh and super healthy, buffet is best I've ever tasted for this type of cuisine. Lunch buffets for Mediterranean food is rare! Only open for lunch, no dinner so get there before 2:30. read more

I think Laziza is the BEST bang for your buck. It is a buffet. You walk in, pay your 80-something krone, and they give you a plate that you can fill up as much as you'd like. They have beef, chicken, fish, falafel, etc for protein and then a TON of salads, cheeses and more. And everything was awesome. I can't think of 1 dish I wouldn't call above average. Their falafel is especially good. Beware of the harissa though... VERY spicy! Good location, right in central Malmo. It has indoor seating, but if it's a nice day, definitely grab a table outside.
