My favorite local breakfast spot. It feels like going to spend time with family. The service is warm and friendly. There are so many delicious choices for breakfast and lunch. The prices are reasonable enough that you can go regularly. I've been about 5 different times in the past 2 years and there is always the same friendly ladies working.

Typical diner fare that you'd expect from a restaurant in a strip mall. We drive by it daily, and decided to try it. Our waitress super nice and very attentive, she came by with water quickly. The coffee was piping hot and she came by and refilled it several times. We ended up switching tables after arriving, as a beetle was on the table and it freaked me out lol. Once we got out food, it was pretty good. They up charge for cheese and even though we stated "scrambled with American", it was just a slice on top. I hate that. The home fries were so delicious, the pancakes were the best we've had, and the bacon was crispy and salty (a preference lol). We will probably be back, but it's not really on the very top of our list lol

Cafe perk was a nice little place to get some breakfast. The wait staff was nice and pleasant . They were very help with questions about the menu. They food for me was average but not bad by any means. Everything tasted fresh and the bacon was crispy also the have good pancake.

Shout out to Cafe Perks (Longwood) for an awesome breakfast. My 2 egg, ham (not cold cuts) and cheese bagel was delicious. The fruit was fresh and varied (banana, watermelon, blackberries, grapes and strawberries). Awesome! The waffle was very good. Crisp and fluffy. Bacon perfect. Western Omelette was stuffed and flavorful. Crispy has on side, done right. French toast (minus sugar) was good. Debbie was our fantastic server!! Enjoy!

Corn Beef Hash omelette. Not on the menu but suggested by my server so damn good!

This place is so hidden yet it's Amazing! All the servers are friendly in a Southern Hospitality type of way. I love it. My server suggested I order the Corn-beef hash Omelet that isn't on the menu. This omelet is stuffed full of the best corn beef hash. They flavor is amazing. Just like how they take care of their

Typical diner experience in a run down plaza. Our server was very aggressive at first and you could tell she was having a bad day. She made us feel very rushed. She became nicer as the meal went on, but it was still a turn off. The place was empty, but she told us it would take a while to cook our food. No big deal. My chicken fried steak was decent, but the fries, green beans and salad were nothing to rave about. My boyfriend got the chicken pita. I had a bite and it was really good. My friend also enjoyed her meal. After we left our waitress came running outside with a cell phone, but it didn't end up being ours. That was very nice of her. Just a place I wouldn't think of coming back to.

First time here... stopped by when I dropped my car off for an oil change service. SO GOOD! Catfish and eggs were a great combo - who knew! And wifi so I could work while waiting on my car. Very friendly staff, super clean, and relaxed atmosphere. This will for sure be my regular stop when I drop off my car.

    Caramelized cinnamon pancake to go.

I can't say enough good things about the fish. I have had a couple of meals here. I had the burger, which was good, and it is funny that people wait in line for a burger that is not as good in the Wendy's in the same strip mall. Sally recommended the fish, even though it was lunch. It was surprisingly good. Delicate flavor, not fishy. It was so lightly breaded it took me awhile to realize it had any breading at all. She said lots of the regulars get it with breakfast. I don't normally get fish. I did not see it on the menu, so it must be limited quantities. If your waitress suggests it, get it. It is a single fillet, so you may want another entree. They had real hash browns. Eggs sunny side up cooked just right. I had rye and pumpernickel toast. It was always busy but the service was fast. I took a cinnamon pancake back to my boy, who loved it. It was caramelized on the griddle. Prices on the menu are quite reasonable. Proper diner decor with pics of the regulars on the wall. I have to mention the fish fillet again. Get it if they have it.

Eggs Benedict, hash browns, side of cheese grits!

So glad I came back. Service was back to being on point. Food was always delicious and still is. I saw some new servers so that might be the change this place needed. Super stoked to have my fave local spot back! Woot!

The best part was the mimosas. There's no longer a carving station and they had crockpots everywhere. I don't remember that being my experience in the past. We ordered steak and it was terrible. It was tiny ! We couldn't even chew it. It was too fatty. Breakfast tacos could've been better the tortillas weren't good maybe they just need to stop doing the brunch. The seating area outside looked nice. I liked the cozy section we were in on the inside. Jamarcus (waiter) was nice and customer service at the front was nice but the food was disappointing. The crab legs were not looking as good as I remember. It just seems thrown together. Warm salad, warm deviled eggs... I'll pass !!! The shrimp and grits were hot and fresh but the shrimp were all gone when we first got there. Grits were kinda too thick. They may have not been hot enough in the crockpot. The candied bacon was really good.

He was nice but appeared to need more training to be up to par for the price point. The decor was nice inside but the location does not give a good first impression and cheapens the experience. It is located in an older shopping plaza and is unkept. I think they are trying for a speakeasy vibe but it isn't being pulled off. The second time we went, we made a reservation to listen to their live music with some appetizers and a cocktail. It was spontaneous as we found ourselves child-free for the night at the last minute. Upon arrival we were told that 'we have a dress code and shorts are not allowed.' Mind you, the dress code says 'no gym shorts' and we didn't have on gym shorts or athletic wear. But there is a cute neon sign that's lit and says "yes this is the place". Pretty funny. So first things first: the location is weird. However the atmosphere and decor inside is very well done. You open the door and are immediately greeted by the host/hostess. It's dark and moody. You turn to the right and suddenly you are in a very swanky environment. You forget where you parked in no time. The drinks: bottle of Tapestry, bees knees with tequila since they ran out of gin. They also ran out of St. Germaine liquor son only two rounds of putting on the fits, the fireside cinnamon sip, an old fashion and a espresso martini. They were all deliciously hand crafted and made to order.. The food: we were a group of 6 ladies and we ordered the Georgia peach salad, the tomato bisque (soup of the day) homemade bread (supposed to be focaccia but was actually French bread), salmon, cheese wheel pasta with shrimp, lobster linguine (I believe), filet and the cheese wheel with filet. For dessert: some molten chocolate (which burned my finger to no one's fault by my own as they did warn me) and the apple pie. The standouts: Georgia peach salad and tomato bisque, salmon & the cheese wheel pasta. As well as both desserts. Additional note: the service was great. The attention to detail to accommodate our coats and purses was thoughtful The cons: who charges $3 for a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese ? The chef is Italian and didn't think that the lobster one should have cheese on it. That's strange. Was it worth the hefty price tag - probably not Would I go again? Maybe for their happy hour but probably not for dinner.

I've had experiences at certain First Watch franchise locations that left me questioning not only the meal, but several of my life choices leading up to it. So when I walked into this location in the Fern Park/Casselberry (Altamonte Springs) area, I'll admit it... I came in cautiously optimistic at best. Thankfully, this visit reminded me why the chain became popular in the first place. Right away, the staff stood out for being personable and genuinely pleasant. Not the robotic "corporate friendly" where someone smiles while dead behind the eyes. Actual warm, attentive service that made the place feel welcoming. And here's something restaurant owners should probably frame on the wall because it's becoming weirdly rare these days: the food was cooked correctly and served hot. Hot. As in actually warm when it hit the table and not sitting under a heat lamp long enough to qualify for Social Security. I ordered the omelette, and it absolutely hit the spot. Comfort food done properly. Fluffy, flavorful, filling, and exactly what I wanted breakfast to be. My daughter ordered the steak and egg hash, and visually... let's just say this isn't a dish entering any beauty pageants. It kind of arrives looking like breakfast got into a small argument with itself. But one bite in and none of that mattered. It was rich, hearty, luscious, and cooked just right. The kind of dish where every bite feels indulgent enough that you briefly stop caring about cholesterol or responsibility. This location honestly felt dialed in. The kitchen was on point, the service was strong, and the overall experience reminded me that consistency is what separates a good restaurant visit from a forgettable one. Because of my mixed history with First Watch overall, I can't quite bring myself to throw five stars into the air like confetti... but this particular location absolutely earned four stars and deserves credit for getting it right.
