I think I found my new go-to cafe in this town! Such a quaint and cozy little place with friendly service, fun decor, trinkets from local artists and small businesses, and plenty of outdoor seating for you and your furry friends. My husband and I tried the caramel sea salt latte, raspberry white mocha, cheese danish, and walnut cranberry scone. No complaints, everything was delicious. It was the perfect breakfast before our walk through Mori Point.

This is one of our "go-tos" in town, for breakfast and lunch. Delicious food, great service. The morning bagel, breakfast burritos and croissants are our favorites. Wraps and sandwiches include the "Jive Turkey Sandwich" and "Gangsta Wrap", plus bacon cheeseburgers and fish & chips. The indoor dining area is small, outdoor good for 4 tables. You can also order food to go.

Delicious gangsta wrap and smoked salmon bagel. Will definitely be back for a casual pick me up breakfast. Coffee was also excellent. Literally is a shack and a hidden (or maybe not so hidden) gem. Lots of locals pouring in. We hung out on the patio and it was relaxing to hear the waves.

Such an awesome local place! Picked up a couple of bagel sandwiches (highly recommend the Land Lubber) and we were in and out in 5 minutes. It does get pretty packed on the weekends so come early. Not that much seating indoors but you're just a few minute walk from the beach. Come support a local business!

Went for Breakfast Food - 5/5. Blueberry scone was in the American style: sweet, buttery, and fluffy. Matcha-looking-at had a great blended consistency with just the right amount of sweetness to pair with the earthy, bitter flavors of matcha. The gangsta wrap was an excellent breakfast item, combining all the best flavors and textures of breakfast in one bite. The sausage and eggs were savory, the avocado and cheese added creaminess, the hash browns were rich and crispy, and the salsa brightened everything up with its vibrant taste. Tortilla was thin and just toasted enough to have that satisfying, light bite. Service - 4/5. Quick and friendly. You order at the counter and food is brought to your table. Water was self-service. Value - 5/5. Prices are standard for the area with the pastry being $5, large drinks $8 and the wrap in the mid $10s. Flavors were good and the portions were fine. Nice breakfast location. Unclear of the high ratings. Maybe we ordered the wrong stuff. We had just visited the Pacifica pier and wanted to support this neighborhood business. Hubby ordered the fish and chips which came with 3 pieces of fish. I didn't try it. It looked very generic previously frozen fish. I wanted chicken tenders as nothing else on the menu interested me. They ran out. I ended up with regular fries for under $7 which was a generous portion but they were just frozen ones they heated up. Like what can get at the supermarket, Ore Ida. Outdoor seating was casual and limited seating inside. The paper towel trash bin was over flowing in the bathroom.

Everything bagel the add ons are the Italian.

After our walk at the pier, I headed to Cafe Pacifica. It's a great little spot. I ordered a vanilla latte with oatmilk and an everything bagel (an Italian) and I was able to scrambled eggs. It was awesome. The Cafe has a small seating area inside as well as a larger outside patio area. It was cool but it was a gorgeous day.

Man. I don't like to go under 3 stars if I can avoid it especially right now. But the things I list, I think work as constructive rather than destructive and I hope that the people reading agree. Don't use my review as an excuse not to go- please go and see if you can disagree with me because that's honestly what I would love. I would love to read about how much you love the place. Review: No. No thanks. -I don't mind the vaccine card only restrictions before it was put into law. -I don't mind sitting outside. -I don't mind having to get my own order after being told it would be brought out to us. -I don't mind using a plastic fork to eat my eggs and a clear plastic to-go container to eat my food instead of a plate. -I don't like that their isn't a bathroom. Give us food and drinks but not restroom? We have to come in to order, we have to come in to pick up our food, why can't we use bathroom? -I don't like being screamed at when the order is ready- no names are taken so what was being screamed from inside the restaurant to the outside patio in order to summon me was "EXTRA SAUSAGE" which is kind of funny now but was abrasive in the moment. Even the other guests were a shocked and made a couple jokes to take the edge off. -I don't like the very poor quality of the food. Breakfast is the easiest and probably the cheapest meal, and after ordering this, I would have preferred McDonalds. Same quality or worse but at least I could use the restroom and not have someone yell at me. Redeeming Factors: -I did really like my Pacifica Fog drink made with heavy cream and sugar free vanilla sweetener. This was actually pretty great. -It's right along the main street, easy to spot. They recommend you use the restroom on the Pier. You know, the one directly behind the other café in town, that's right on the ocean, which I am sure knows how to make tea. So, would I come back? No. No thanks.

Goto spot for breakfast with the family. Local spot. After our morning walks we head on over for some pancakes, eggs, and has browns. Burgers are filling and full of flavor. Staff are friendly and help with orders.

Was tooling around one Saturday morning trying to find a new mo betteh coffee shop. Still can't find one to match The Plantation in San Carlos... This one has promise. The atmosphere is really surf-y and cool with long board decor and plants. The girl behind the counter was cheerful. The breakfast offerings were better than Peet's or Starbucks - they actually had some crepes and varied sandwiches. They did have rather too-comfortable elderly clientele who talked a bit too loudly to nearly everyone who entered... (wince) Maybe I went at a bad time. I'll try it again. Loved the great thick-cushioned sofa and chairs - and the exterior deck seating ! Right across the street from Florey's awesome bookstore - another draw for me. read more

Great service and amazing food! I had a latte and the coffee was flavorful (and dark!). Also had the Asiago bagel with cream cheese AND avocado, with some sort of spicy sprinkled on top... truly a decadent breakfast! We are new to Pacifica and I'm excited we found this gem. Relaxed atmosphere with wonderful people and food. read more

I'm a bit disappointed because I didn't actually get to TRY the place out. My husband and I went on a Saturday morning. They had ONE person working the counter. The place had a decent amount of people in there and she had to make all the breakfast sandwiches before getting to the next customer (understandable). Why would there only be one person working on a Saturday morning at a coffee shop? I may go back and try it again some time, but I'm not sure how I feel about taking a risk that there still may be that same lone girl behind the counter. read more

I love this place for breakfast and lunch. The gangsta wraps are DELICIOUS for breakfast and the jive turkey sandwich is the best turkey sandwich I have EVER had. The coffee drinks are delicious, service is friendly, and the outdoor patio is absolutely perfect for sunny, warm days by the beach. I can't wait to try more of their delicious food, but definitely want to get the gangsta wrap again because it was so so good. read more

Great coffee and delicious breakfast! Great customer service. They are more than happy to answer questions or simply take my order. They also try to remembering you by remembering your order when they see you again. And the coffee is so fresh, better than Starbucks. This is such a cute and peaceful place that it would be a shame for anyone not to get the best customer service along with the best cup of coffee served. Since I had extremely unpleasant experience about the customer service with GREEN APPLE BOOK STORE in San Francisco Richmond Clement street , this amazing place absolutely a gem in the city. read more

Speaking of legit cafes to go to... WHEW!! This is a lovely hidden gem located in "downtown" Pacifica. The owner is so friendly and easy to approach with questions on the menu. The gangsta wrap... Okay.. to be honest I didn't look at the reviews which equals LARGE risk involved as a normal Yelper. However, I'm happy I took this risk and just tried it out without looking at the ratings. It was well-worth it. Back to the gangsta wrap... YUMMMM @_@.... I expected it to be alright-tasting when I saw it, but when I tried it, my heart en-caved within itself... Okay I'm exaggerating, but it was really tasty and I was very happy. Plus my Italian soda was well made without being stingy on the syrup and not killing me with Mr. Freeze attacks. The place is also clean and very welcoming. The patrons within the cafe also gave it a kind feel. The only downside is the lack of wi-fi, but I have hot spot so it doesn't matter for me. =P read more

I visited this coffee shop for the first time ever this morning. I was with a group of Pacifica Mothers Club members. We were out on the patio and it was a perfect place to meet and hang out with a bunch of little wee kids. I went inside and ordered a mocha - wow. It was the BEST mocha I have ever had. Seriously. THE BEST! There was just the perfect balance of coffee and chocolate. (I prefer my mochas to taste sweeter and more chocolaty.) This one was awesome! Everyone working there was super friendly. I will definitely return to this coffee shop for my mocha needs. (And yes, they are needs!!) read more

What is not to love about this place?! While visiting friends in Pacifica, they brought us here for breakfast. It's a cute little surfer shack with very friendly people and a great assortment of breakfast sandwiches. I ordered a Croissant with Ham, Eggs and Cheese and it was to die for! Definitely worth getting your breakfast here! read more

I am giving this place five stars for their incredible breakfast item: "The Gangsta Wrap". I heard about it from a guy I surf with and now we stop there for one every time we drive past. It's that good that we detour off the main road to get it. (Tip: call ahead). As an excellent bonus, the wrap is easily big enough that you can ask them to cut it in half. Cheap breakfast for two. read more

I tend to leave Yelp reviews for the new places I go out of my way to try, but take my local favorites for granted. Our local favs need our love and support doing their best to deal with the impact of COVID closures and modifications. Cafe Pacifica (we lovingly call "the mermaid building") is a local favorite. My kids love the Piggy Bagel (cream cheese, avocado, bacon). I had The Gangsta Wrap (grilled tortilla with egg, cheese, peach salsa, meat - chose bacon, hash brown and avocado) today and it was all the perfect proportions of flavor wrapped in a crispy spinach tortilla. My usuals tend to be either the Italian Delight bagel, BLAT sandwich or Veggie sandwich on croissant. Service is so friendly and good is delicious. Anything with bacon - their bacon is perfectly crisp and they don't skimp on it. They also have delicious smoothies and a nice choice of coffee drinks. This place is a go-to favorite of my family. read more

Really cute cafe with an outdoor patio (dog friendly!), very nice staff, and solid bagel and coffee menu for breakfast! My friend's bagel was totally fine, but I found three little black hairs in the egg in my bagel :-( would definitely go back, but will probably avoid menu items with eggs. read more

A laid back local favorite. The food is consistently delicious and the coffee is good. I always get the gangsta wrap but the bagels are awesome as well. The smoothies are fresh and don't have any weird stuff added (i.e. ice cream or protein powder). This place has become my weekend staple. read more

When you're going to one of the beaches in Pacifica check out Cafe Pacifica. The very cool owner works there in the mornings and can whip out your food and drinks in a heartbeat. They have two outdoor seating areas; the awesome front porch and the quiet secluded backyard. This place is has far more ambiance than their competitors in Manor or Montara. Great music (blues when we were there). My friends at Nervous Dog in SF recommended this really cool place. Great menu, friendly service, pipin' hot coffee with lots of body and flavor. My new favorite place on a day off. read more

Visited on a rare, sunny Saturday afternoon and I just wanted to make a quick stop for coffee. We loved the atmosphere so much, we ended up staying for a few hours just lounging on their porch. I was blown away by how chill and cozy this cafe was. The cashier was super friendly and helpful when we were deciding what to get. Can't say enough good things about this place and their service. Lovely cafe to grab a BLTA (crispy bacon, toasted bread, fresh avocado) or gangsta wrap (eggs, sausage, peach salsa, hash browns). Lattes are also tasty; I typically get the white mocha. They also have a nice selection of sandwiches, bagels, and breakfast foods. Location is ideal to go for a walk along the pier after breakfast or lunch. Outdoor seating is available - it's a tiny place so seating inside is limited. read more

Fun decor, Hawaiian themed. Small, intimate cafe house with out door seating. Close to the ocean. I gave 3 stars because the espresso in my cappuccino was burnt. If you get flavored espresso drinks would probably not notice read more

This is definitely the quintessential Pacifica beach type breakfast place. Hippyish, weather worn, and fantastic. The lady serving is very coastal friendly, but can sometimes use some help as it can get a bit crowded there. Must give it a try! read more

Kenny's Cafe is not fancy and by no means a fine dining establishment, but if you're into a clean restaurant with staff that takes care of their customers. Then perhaps this is a great place to try. I've worked in a restaurant for nearly half my life and I can honestly tell that it takes quite the effort to uphold a level of cleanliness and consistency especially given the fact that they've been there for over 30 years. I had their salt and pepper pork, well portioned, crispy batter, decently priced with all the right fixings and flavors.. I was not disappointed. I've also tried their prime rib which is a special every other Friday of the week and for $30, you get two sides and a soup. I was impressed with what they served and everything was cooked to standard. (Which is hard to find nowadays) Too clean and well kept to be a hole in the wall but with mountains on one side and the ocean in a tucked cove on the other, Pacifica is definitely worth the trip.

The service once you're seated isn't the best either. The workers don't really come around to check on you, so if you need water or anything else, you pretty much have to flag someone down. Even for to-go boxes, napkins, etc., you have to get up and grab them yourself from the counters. It's not a huge deal, but it definitely makes the service feel a little lacking. The food was also just okay this time. I got the chicken and waffles, and the waffle was pretty bland while the chicken was way too salty. Overall, the prices are a little on the expensive side too , it was $7 just to add one pancake.

I read the reviews here on Yelp and have concluded that they are all fake.I wanted some special sandwich for breakfast, walked the dog, pulled up in front, got the standard Pacifica Merchant Greeting: bunch of fat ugly people, challenging you to enter, the Help having a personal conversation with someone who is most likely not spending any money, and me, with a pocket full of money and dreams of a great sandwich feeling not welcome. I was born in Pacifica in 1963 so it's not like I'n not local enough, however, since 1963 I have found this behavior to be standard operating procedure for all Pacifica merchants. drive over the Hill and spend your sales tax in DC, Bruno or SoCity. Pacifica merchants make it clear upon entering the store (if you can even park, but for the city trucks parked in all the spots esp the "Heroes" with firetrucks. Point is, don't ever spend a dime in Pacifica, give the sales tax to the real cities read more

This was one of the first places I visited when I moved to Sharp Park several years ago and their BALT's have had me hooked ever since! Prompt service, clean and adorable building, delicious food. I'm also impressed by how the staff worked through the pandemic, they did a wonderful job making sure they followed covid protocols to keep their customers safe and continued to provide quality food throughout those times.
