cute little spot! tucked into the chick n coop to the right, it's exactly what a lil bagel shop should be. enough filling options for any bagel lover, just enough bagel options without feeling overwhelming. fresh veggies, good coffee; wouldn't have treated my Friday morning any differently. interior almost felt like a college dining hall :)

Tucked inside chick n coop, this little cafe is a change of pace. Friendly service and clean! While I didn't order coffee, I saw that they had food. Not extensive by any means, but your basic breakfast fare of cold items and warm items. I ordered the sausage burrito and while it wasn't life changing, it hit the spot in needing something portable and breakfastsy. Fun thing was that when I asked for a cup of water, ice was added. The ice cubes were in a unique shape that reminded me of mini doughnuts instead of cubes. Cute.

This cafe and brunch spot opened a little more than a month ago. Only tried atypical breakfast items like donuts, bagel, pastries and fruit cups; everything was fine. A Nicaraguan spot from what I gather so will revisit to try their cuisine. Note this cafe located in the middle of a block, has metered street parking, and shares the same address as Chick N Coop (https://yelp.to/iNDLhYQrxqb).

Cherry danish and Mexican Mocha were delicious! Not a place to study, the cafe is attached to a diner so there was like a sour smell coming from the kitchen. I would definitely return if that improved.

    Sandwich Bagel

This place opened up near my house and my husband and I chose to try it out We were really craving sandwiches but they only had bagels and breakfast burritos, however, when we asked the lovely ladies they said they could make us sandwich bagels so they did and these were some of the most delicious ones we've ever had Everything was just amazing and it tasted so fresh Plus the customer service was great both of them were so nice and friendly Definitely check it out if you're around the area

The dark meat chicken was juicy and tender and you get two large slabs of thigh meat. Waffles soft and tender inside with slight crisp exterior. SUPER tasty. Sweet Corn Benedict... Hollandaise sauce on the side... The sweetness of the corn really made a point. Perfectly cooked eggs and a decent amount of crab meat inside. More recently, I also hit a small bad beat jackpot for roughly $450 table share, which kept the experience exciting. I was introduced to "the dark side" aka baccarat here and ultimately lost around $50,000 over time. There were many times when I was up though, which really feeds into the dopamine and adrenaline receptors. Generally, when I win - I tip the staff generously because I think of myself as a philanthropist. Anywho, very engaging and exciting environment, but also a clear reminder that gambling should be treated strictly as occasional entertainment. I think of the loss as paying for someone's salary - so technically I'm the boss xD The dealers, floormen, service staff, and security are consistently professional, and the games are well-run and active. The night shift management can feel cold or unwelcoming toward players who are not actively gambling. I understand the perspective, though, as other patrons may not appreciate lingering presence if someone is not playing. Overall, the room runs well, but the customer experience at night can feel uneven depending on management and expectations.

And it hits every time! Over the years, I have slowly grown out of only ordering the longsilog (longanisa, egg, rice hold breakfast combo). However, it's still delicious. I just don't remember it being the price it is now. Will I still be there? Hell yeah! (side note, they have some of the best halo halo). halo halo the ice is melted shaved ice texture, not sweet at all, you choose either mango or ube ice cream inside, jellies, and rice cereal. (I'm going off memory here, so the rice cereal might be incorrect. just order it, you won't regret it!). soft scrambled egg with shrimp and rice this is in the rice plates section on the menu (I had to look it up, I never noticed it before). the sauce was slightly sweet but the meal was completely destroyed. fried chicken I mean; never thought it would be GOOD, but my boyfriend was so adamant about me testing it.. and it's delicious. crispy skin (almost like chips), juicy, flavorful, and with mangtomas sauce!! longsilog my tried and true? ugh, the suka too (vinegar), incredible. garlic rice? always a huge and delicious portion. god I miss it. bangus sisig bang-oose. milkfish for those that don't know. ugh, the jalapeno, tomato, lime!! and the flavor on this? I could marry it. it's also a favorite in the family, so we order this almost every time we see it. the skin? crispy. amazing every time. you're gonna come here for the gambling, but might as well eat some good food while you're here too.

There's something about this hotel that just doesn't feel cold or transactional--it feels welcoming. A huge part of that is the front desk team, especially Grace and Eva. After a long day of work, being greeted by people who are genuinely upbeat, warm, and attentive makes a real difference. They consistently go above and beyond, whether it's helping with directions, recommending great places to dine or shop, or just making sure everything feels seamless during my stay. What really stands out is that they offer the kind of thoughtful, personalized guidance you usually only get at a five-star resort--essentially complimentary concierge service, and done with sincerity. They are truly perfect hosts. Kudos to whoever hired and trained these gems. Grace and Eva are a big reason this hotel stands out, and why I always look forward to staying here.

Room was spacious and well laid out. Big bed, firm mattress, everything looked maintained. Desk setup was actually usable, not just for show. TV, microwave, coffee station -- all there. Nothing luxury, but nothing missing either. Good natural light from the window, and the room felt quiet at night, which matters. Breakfast was included and decent. Waffles, muffins, yogurt, coffee -- simple but enough to start the day. Not gourmet, but consistent with the brand. Coffee was fresh, which is key. Gym was a plus. Not huge, but had the basics: cardio machines, weights, clean space. You can get a real workout in, not just a token "fitness room." Cleanliness overall was solid. Bathroom was tidy, common areas looked maintained. No issues there. Service was straightforward. Staff polite, check-in and check-out smooth, no friction. Only downside -- it's very "standard." No personality, no standout feature. You know exactly what you're getting. 4/5. Reliable, clean, comfortable. Good for a short stay, business trip, or passing through.

Thanks to Alberto and the entire team, we had the best time, food, and overall experience. Even though the restaurant was incredibly busy--packed with people and with guests constantly walking in throughout the evening--Alberto never made us feel forgotten. He thoughtfully checked in on us, got everything to us in a reasonable amount of time, and was incredibly patient as I asked questions about different menu items. He even let us know that, although he was busy, we should simply flag him down if we needed anything at all. At establishments like this that have such a high volume of customers, I honestly don't expect service like this. I expect long waits and to spend half the evening trying to find my server. Not Alberto, though. He was kind, professional, helpful, and knowledgeable from beginning to end. As for the food, I had the Pilsner and Joe's Filet of Sole, my friend had the Golden Ale and Joe's Eggplant Parmigiana, and we shared the butter cake with ice cream for dessert. Everything was chef's kiss, including the bread and butter! I would absolutely come back just for the service from Alberto. Five stars, always. You can never go wrong with Original Joe's, and Alberto made an already great experience even better.

The inside of the cafe deli was cute and there was seating available. Good amount of people coming and going while we were inside. I ordered a mix berry smoothie and house breakfast sandwich. The sandwich was really yummy and hit the spot -- I added some Tabasco sauce for more flavor and really enjoyed my breakfast. The smoothie was alright, it honestly wasn't what I was expecting for a smoothie. It was really icy and watered down, I honestly probably wouldn't get it again. But the food was good. The cashier was very nice and accommodating. My original smoothie cup had been leaking a lot, so I asked if I could get a new cup and she didn't hesitate or seem inconvenienced to do it. I'm rating this place a 4/5 because I had better expectations for the smoothie. I would come here again for a quick breakfast bite and try something else on the menu too!
