The chairs are NOT comfortable. There's a sofa-like place to sit near the front of the cafe, and it looked more comfortable than all of those metal chairs. The woman who greeted me was very friendly and cheery and I immediately felt very welcomed. The menu choices had staples that you would expect most breakfast places to have, but also some unique egg scramble and other options which looked delicious. I ended up getting the Denver omelette which is my go-to at these sort of spots. At the time I was the only customer there so I was able to receive my meal VERY quickly. The omelette was delicious. Perfectly grilled peppers and meat, generous amount of cheese, and the side potatoes were wonderful. Worth noting! This spot offers your regular toast or English muffin side, but they also offer a made in house muffin option as well! This is a special gem that I feel you rarely see in restaurants. Price wise, this place is very standard ground for the small breakfast type restaurants, not super expensive, but not super dirt cheap either. I felt the pricing was very fair. I ended up coming back again a week later with the wife to try and we had a similarly positive experience. Fast service even when the restaurant was then crowded. In this case, with the way they mixed together the overly-done eggs with the other ingredients makes this feel more like a scramble than a proper omelette. The pancakes felt like they could sit on the grill for an extra minute or two. It felt undercooked and could use more browning. The biggest disappointment was the coffee. It was so watered down that all the decafs I've had were stronger than this. I really wanted to like this place given that it's a staple in the area. Unfortunately I was really disappointed with the food.
